Optimum life testing plans in presence of hybrid censoring: A cost function approach

Hybrid censoring scheme is a combination of Type‐I and Type‐II censoring schemes. Determination of optimum hybrid censoring scheme is an important practical issue in designing life testing experiments to enhance the information on reliability of the product. In this work, we consider determination of optimum life testing plans under hybrid censoring scheme by minimizing the total cost associated with the experiment. It is shown that the proposed cost function is scale invariant for some selected distributions. Optimum solution cannot be obtained analytically. We propose a method for obtaining the optimum solution and consider Weibull distribution for illustration. We also studied the sensitivity of the optimal solution to the misspecification of parameter values and cost components through a well‐designed sensitivity analysis. 松辽盆地北部浅水三角洲前缘砂体类型、特征与沉积动力学过程分析

通过充分利用开发检查全井段的取芯资料,结合开发井的水动力资料,系统总结出地形、河流与湖泊大小、气候变化和湖面升降对浅水三角洲前缘沉积环境的影响,分析了浅水三角洲的沉积动力学过程.浅水三角洲前缘平坦、开阔.三角洲平原上的分流河道向湖泊中心方向长距离推进,在三角洲前缘的浅水区发育很有特色的水下分流河道,且在湖面频繁波动过程中,河流、波浪和沿岸流的冲刷作用对沉积物的分布起到重要作用,导致以水下分流河道砂体为主的三角洲前缘砂体不同程度的席状化.随着气候变得潮湿,湖面相对稳定,季节性、周期性湖面波动的频率、幅度也减小,水动力对三角洲前缘砂体的改造和席状化强度减弱.

Asymptotic analysis of stochastic programs

In this paper we discuss a general approach to studying asymptotic properties of statistical estimators in stochastic programming. The approach is based on an extended delta method and appears to be particularly suitable for deriving asymptotics of the optimal value of stochastic programs. Asymptotic analysis of the optimal value will be presented in detail. Asymptotic properties of the corresponding optimal solutions are briefly discussed.     

A spectroscopic investigation of turbulence in magnetized plasmas

We present a spectroscopic investigation of turbulence in the Tore-Supra edge plasma, where deuterium spectral lines are found to exhibit a power-law behavior in their wings. Such a feature is not predicted by the equilibrium line broadening theory in the conditions of the edge plasma, where the thermal Stark effect is negligible. Therefore, the possible role of turbulence is investigated along two separate paths. Indeed, both the Stark and the Doppler profiles may differ significantly from the equilibrium profiles.     

Line integrals and Green's formula on time scales

In this paper we study curves parametrized by a time scale parameter, introduce line delta and nabla integrals along time scale curves, and obtain an analog of Green's formula in the time scale setting.     

75°前缘后掠角细长三角翼失速特性实验研究

本文简介了前缘后掠角为７５°的平板三角翼在西北工业大学ＮＦ－３低速风洞中的测力和相关的激光片光流动显示实验，给出了部分实验结果，并与文献［１－３］的结果进行了比较，虽然各种来源的结果存在着明显的差异，但ＮＦ－３风洞两种测试手段的实验结果却具有良好的相关性。     

长三角地区房地产市场是如何实现"去库存"的?

长三角地区在全国房地产"库存"的背景下,实现了房地产市场的不断向好.对长三角地区有关面板数据进行实证研究,实证结果表明房地产开发投资、医院床位数、工业生产总值与人均房地产成交面积呈正相关.城镇人口数,中、长期贷款利率与人均房地产成交面积呈负相关,高收入城市比低收入城市人均房地产成交面积低14.%,教育支出和城镇居民总的可支配收入对人均房地产成交面积影响不显著.     

Convergence acceleration of series through a variational approach

By means of a variational approach we find new series representations both for well-known mathematical constants, such as π and the Catalan constant, and for mathematical functions, such as the Riemann zeta function. The series that we have found are all exponentially convergent and provide quite useful analytical approximations. With limited effort our method can be applied to obtain similar exponentially convergent series for a large class of mathematical functions.
