Flat-top interleavers with chromatic dispersion compensator based on phase dispersive free space Mach-Zehnder interferometer

In this paper, novel interleavers using circular cavities (CC) in a Mach-Zehnder interferometer (MZI) has been presented and demonstrated for the first time, in which CCs act as phase dispersive mirrors which exhibit a periodic dependence on the frequency of light. Three implementation schemes have been proposed and investigated. Theoretical analysis shows the spectral characteristics of each scheme in a 50-GHz channel spacing application. Furthermore, the chromatic dispersion (CD) of each output comb can be flattened within passband by appending an additional CC. The result shows that the proposed designs with novel interferometer technique can simultaneously provide flat top passbands, high isolation stopband and low CD value as well.     

单谐振腔外部Q值的计算方法

 通过对带有耦合器的单驻波腔进行等效电路分析，推导出可计算带有耦合波导的单谐振腔外部Q值的反射相位法，该方法通过计算不同频率的反射相位来确定谐振频率和外部Q值。详细叙述了在CST Microwave Studio中用谐振模式求解法、直接时域跟踪法和反射相位法进行计算的步骤；用这3种方法分别计算了二次发射微波电子枪的外部Q值并和实验测量结果做了比较。结果显示3种计算方法都有很高的精度,但反射相位法的速度最快，耗时1 071 s。计算发现外部Q值与耦合口长度的4.1次方成反比。     

全固态高功率连续单横模Nd:YVO4/LBO绿光激光器

报道了激光二极管泵浦的高功率连续单横模绿光激光器。考虑到激光晶体因吸收泵浦光而产生的热透镜效应,我们选择低掺杂浓度Nd:YVO4激光晶体,设计了V字型热不灵敏折叠式驻波谐振腔,利用I类非临界相位匹配LBO非线性晶体,当泵浦功率为23 W时,得到7 W单横模532 nm绿光输出功率,光-光转化效率为33%,长期功率稳定性优于1.6%(自由运转3小时)。     

有Edgeworth展式的分布的随机加权逼近的重对数律

本文研究了未知分布的逼近问题，利用随机加权法，给出了有Edgeworth展式的一类（未知）分布的模拟分布，证明了在一定条件下，模拟分布与未知分布的逼近精度达到O(n^-1√lnlnn），称之为随机加权逼近的重对数律。     

An expansion in the exponent for compound binomial approximations

The purpose of this paper is two-fold. First, we introduce a new asymptotic expansion in the exponent for the compound binomial approximation of the generalized Poisson binomial distribution. The dependence of its accuracy on the symmetry and shifting of distributions is investigated. Second, for compound binomial and compound Poisson distributions, we present new smoothness estimates, some of which contain explicit constants. Finally, the ideas used in this paper enable us to prove new precise bounds in the compound Poisson approximation. CH分子束的强度与CH_4/He混合配比的关系及CH(A~2Δ)振转温度的计算

为了获得CH分子束及其相关特性,以氦气为载气,利用直流脉冲放电技术产生了CH分子束。实验记录了放电时间相对于脉冲分子束不同延时CH光谱信号强度的变化,放电相对延时为460μs左右获得最大的信号强度。研究了在保持CH4/He总气压3 atm和放电电压-4 kV不变的条件下CH分子束强度与不同配比的关系,建立了理论模型,对实验数据进行了理论拟合,拟合曲线与实验结果符合较好,配比为1%(甲烷与氦的气压比为1∶99)左右能够维持较稳定的放电现象和较强的放电强度而获得较强的CH自由基束流。在这一配比下对CH(A2Δ-X2Π)(0,0)带发射光谱进行探测和分析,获得CH(A2Δ)转动温度和振动温度分别为2455 K和4575 K,并估计此时每个脉冲中大约包含1013~1014个CH自由基。     

Assessment of thermal expansion coefficient of methylsilsesquioxane thin film

For the methylsilsesquioxane film whose optical birefringence is almost zero, it was recently reported that its vertical thermal expansion coefficient (CTE) was approximately one order of magnitude larger than the lateral CTE. Though the birefringence is not an absolute predictor of anisotropic behavior, the discrepancy in both the CTEs was so remarkable that it was essential to investigate whether the anisotropy was intrinsic property or not. If the effect of Poisson's ratio is considered in the calculation of the vertical CTE and when elastic modulus measured by surface acoustic wave spectroscopy is used in the assessment of the lateral CTE, both the CTEs are coincident with each other. Therefore, it can be concluded that the discrepancy in the CTEs can be attributed to a higher in‐plane polymer chain orientation but it can also arise from the misleadingly assumed modulus and Poisson's ratio. © 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. 在CPM非稳腔Nd:YAG激光器中用被—被动锁模方法选单脉冲的探讨

在CPM Nd:YAG非稳腔激光器中,我们使用透过率较大的可饱和吸收体使单脉冲序列中的脉冲个数减少到3—5个,在输出的单序列中再使用非线性介质进行处理,可以得到比较接近的单脉冲输出。     

Effect of the three-body force on triton asymptotic normalization constants by the hyperspherical harmonics expansion method

We investigate the change in the calculated value of asymptotic normalization constant (ANC) by the hyperspherical harmonics expansion method with the inclusion of three nucleon force (3BF) in addition to two nucleon force. We see that ANC does not change very much with the inclusion of 3BF indicating that the 3BF does not alter the asymptotic behaviours of HHE wavefunction significantly.
