For curvilinear Lipschitz polyhedral domains Ω, explicit characterizations of the tangential trace spaces of H 1(Ω) are presented. These extend the original characterizations given by Buffa and Ciarlet that hold on Lipschitz polyhedral domains with plane faces. The tangential trace spaces of H 1(Ω) are fundamental for the definition, analysis and intuitive understanding of the trace spaces of H ( curl ,Ω) and therefore, more general characterizations of the latter are obtained at the same time. Beam structures undergoing finite deflections and rotations in space have extensive application in the subsea industry particularly for the analysis of holistic systems with larger numbers of mooring and riser components. In using the finite element analysis approach, there is an increasing requirement for large element sizes which preserve accuracy with regard to the coupling of axial, bending and torsion response.The authors outline a method for improving the current state of practice for the analysis of riser systems. The approach draws on the convected coordinates method, Euler–Bernoulli beam theory, the principle of virtual work and the finite element method. Two quasi-rotation measures are developed including a quasi-material rotation definition for rotational deformation relative to the convected axis of a beam and a quasi-space rotation definition to deal with the path dependent nature of rotations in three dimensions.The novel aspect of this work is to relate the rate of change of the quasi-material rotation vector along the beam axis to a linear transformation of the beam axis rate-of-rotation vector through utilising the convected coordinates axes system. In this way, incremental values of quasi-material rotation are directly linked to incremental values of nodal quasi-space rotation and a global Newton–Raphson solution technique for interconnecting beam elements is straightforward to assemble.Furthermore, this leads to accurate definitions of coupled axial, bending and torque response for beams with significant deflection. The approach has particular advantages in the analysis of subsea riser sections. Also, the accuracy of the solution is preserved for a fewer number of elements compared to alternative solutions for computationally sensitive load cases with highly non-linear loading regimes.  相似文献

Seven commercial Moroccan honeys were considered for chemical characterisation. Volatile fraction, total polyphenols content, antioxidant and antiradical activities were evaluated by employing different analytical methodologies. Several physical parameters such as refractive index, pH, water content, solids content and colour were measured. Volatile fraction revealed an abundant presence of cis- and trans-linalool oxide in the seven studied samples. The presence of high levels of compounds related to the Maillard reaction, like furfural and hydroxymethylfurfural, could be the result of thermal treatments used to liquefy commercial honeys or of long storage times. The CIE L*a*b*Cab*hab° chromatic coordinates confirmed the advanced stage of the Maillard reaction, showing L* values lower than the common values found for honey of similar typologies.  相似文献

Phosphate glasses with compositions of 44P2O5 + 17K2O + 9Al2O3 + (30 − x)CaF2 + xDy2O3 (x = 0.05, 0.1, 0.5, 1.0, 2.0, 3.0 and 4.0 mol %) were prepared and characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), differential thermal analysis (DTA), Fourier transform infrared (FTIR), optical absorption, emission and decay measurements. The observed absorption bands were analyzed by using the free-ion Hamiltonian (HFI) model. The Judd–Ofelt (JO) analysis has been performed and the intensity parameters (Ωλ, λ = 2, 4, 6) were evaluated in order to predict the radiative properties of the excited states. From the emission spectra, the effective band widths (Δλeff), stimulated emission cross-sections (σ(λp)), yellow to blue (Y/B) intensity ratios and chromaticity color coordinates (x, y) have been determined. The fluorescence decays from the 4F9/2 level of Dy3+ ions were measured by monitoring the intense 4F9/2 → 6H15/2 transition (486 nm). The experimental lifetimes (τexp) are found to decrease with the increase of Dy3+ ions concentration due to the quenching process. The decay curves are perfectly single exponential at lower concentrations and gradually changes to non-exponential for higher concentrations. The non-exponential decay curves are well fitted to the Inokuti–Hirayama (IH) model for S = 6, which indicates that the energy transfer between the donor and acceptor is of dipole–dipole type. The systematic analysis of revealed that the energy transfer mechanism strongly depends on Dy3+ ions concentration and the host glass composition.  相似文献

 离散纵标格式是计算辐射输运方程的常用格式之一. 但是, 传统的离散纵标格式求解二维柱坐标系辐射输运方程模拟一维球对称问题时, 会出现明显的非对称现象, 球对称性被破坏. 针对该问题, 本文分析了传统离散纵标格式不能够保持球对称性的原因, 提出了空间基于柱坐标系、方向基于球坐标系的辐射输运方程, 并对该方程设计了新的离散纵标格式, 从理论上证明了当空间网格取球对称剖分时该离散格式能够保持一维球对称性的充分必要条件. 通过对真空球区域辐射输运、与物质耦合辐射输运等球对称算例的数值模拟, 验证了该格式的保球对称性, 球对称误差能够达到机器精度. 非对称辐射驱动模型以及非对称网格剖分条件下的数值模拟等算例也取得了较好的结果.  相似文献

介绍双螺旋叠栅条纹检测光束准直性的基本原理,进一步就双螺旋叠栅条纹的特征参量与被测光束发散角(即光束准直精度)的关系进行分析和推导。在分析双螺旋叠栅条纹进行时,首先采用频域低通滤波提取纯叠栅条纹,然后提取纯叠栅条纹的特征参量。提出两种特征参量的提取方法,一种依次进行傅里叶变换计算相位信息的傅里叶变换方法,另一种是受传统时间相移算法启发而提出的空间相移算法,讨论了在两种方法中极坐标的重采样问题和相应的计算公式,并进行了计算机模拟。结果表明,傅里叶变换方法和空间相移算法实质都是获取叠栅条纹全场趋势的平均值,使最终光束发散角的检测具有很高的精度,对自成像条纹周期的检测误差在±2.8‰以内。  相似文献

Fairly accurate approximate expressions for commonly used characteristics of non‐planarity of trigonal sp2‐hybridized centers are reported. It is shown that the behavior of all these parameters as a function of bond angles (α, β, γ) is determined primarily by the square‐root of the difference [360° ? (α + β + γ)]. The effect of wavelength and relative velocity on the disturbed interface of two‐phase stratified regime is modeled and discussed. To analyze the stability, a small perturbation is imposed on the interface. Growth or decline of the disturbed wave, relative velocity, and surface tension with respect to time will be discussed numerically. Newly developed scheme applied to a two‐dimensional flow field and the governing Navier–Stokes equations in laminar regime are solved. Finite volume method together with non‐staggered curvilinear grid is a very effective approach to capture interface shape with time. Because of the interface shape, for any time advancement, a new grid is performed separately on each stratified field, liquid, and gas regime. The results are compared with the analytical characteristics method and one‐dimensional modeling. This comparison shows that solving the momentum equation including viscosity term leads to physically more realistic results. In addition, the newly developed method is capable of predicting two‐phase stratified flow behavior more precisely than one‐dimensional modeling. It was perceived that the surface tension has an inevitable role in dissipation of interface instability and convergence of the two‐phase flow model. Copyright © 2009 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献
