Semideterministic Global Optimization Method: Application to a Control Problem of the Burgers Equation

This paper has two objectives. We introduce a new global optimization algorithm reformulating optimization problems in terms of boundary-value problems. Then, we apply this algorithm to a pointwise control problem of the viscous Burgers equation, where the control weight coefficient is progressively decreased. The results are compared with those obtained with a genetic algorithm and an LM-BFGS algorithm in order to check the efficiency of our method and the necessity of using global optimization techniques.     

Nonlinear control of systems with multiple equilibria and unknown sinusoidal disturbance

In this paper, nonlinear systems having multiple equilibrium points and low order dynamics are investigated. Roll motions of ships are studied by means of modern nonlinear techniques to exemplify the behavior of such nonlinear systems in the case when they are under the influence of external sinusoidal disturbances with unknown amplitudes. The main objective is to analyze the performance of this system at different operating conditions, including those giving rise to chaos, and to design a controller with an overparameterized structure to stabilize the system at the origin. A nonlinear recursive backstepping controller is proposed and the transient performance is investigated. Lyapunov-based techniques are used to force systematic following of a reference model while introducing a nonlinear parameter estimator to guarantee adaptivity. Robustness problems as well as ways to tune the controller parameters are examined. Simulation results are submitted for the uncontrolled and controlled cases, verifying the effectiveness of the proposed controller. Finally, a discussion and conclusions are given with possible future extensions.     

Some results on controllability of a nonlinear degenerate parabolic system by bilinear control

In this paper, we discuss the controllability of a nonlinear degenerate parabolic system with bilinear control. Based on the shrinking property of the solutions, we prove that the system is not globally approximately controllable. Furthermore, we give an approximate null controllability result. We also prove that the system is not globally exactly null controllable by a comparison principle.     

挖坑机钻头主轴纵向振动系统模型的建立与控制

首先利用弹性杆理论和H am ilton变分原理建立了挖坑机钻头主轴及钻尖在工作过程中由于外激励的作用使钻尖与土壤互相作用而产生纵向振动的动力学模型,同时给出边界条件和初始条件.其次通过把系统外激励函数当作控制变量,利用Banach空间几何性质证明了此系统存在唯一最优控制元.     

年龄相关的非线性时变种群扩散系统最优分布控制的存在性

讨论了一类非线性时变种群扩散系统的最优分布控制问题,利用LionsJL的偏微控制理论和先验估计,证明了系统最优分布控制的存在性.所得结果可为非线性种群扩散系统中的最优控制问题的实际研究提供必要的理论基础.     

Nonlinear modelling and control of a common rail injection system for diesel engines

Modern trends in designing mechatronic systems call for a synergic design of the separated subsystems (mechanic, electronic parts, control modules, etc.) concurring to the overall performance. Following this point of view, this paper presents a control oriented model and a nonlinear control design for a Common Rail injection system. First a model is developed, which is tuned in a virtual simulation environment, representing the injection system in details in a reliable replication of reality. Then a sliding mode control is developed. Both the model of the injection process and of the control law are validated by a virtual detailed simulation environment. The prediction capability of the model and the control efficiency are clearly shown.     

Structure of minimizers in linear-quadratic Bolza problems of optimal control

In this paper, we study intersections of extremals in a linear-quadratic Bolza problem of optimal control. The structure of the inter-sections is described. We show that this structure implies the semipositive definiteness of the quadratic cost functional. In addition, we derive necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of minimizers.

Auxiliary controlled singlet-oxygen ene reactions of cyclohexenes

The photooxygenation of homochiral cyclohexene ketals, which are easily available from 2-cyclohexenone and l-tartrates, affords hydroperoxides and after reduction the corresponding allylic alcohols in good yields and high regioselectivities. This can be rationalized by electronic repulsions in a perepoxide intermediate and provides evidence for unfavorable 1,3 diaxial interactions with a dioxolane oxygen atom. Only low stereoselectivities were observed, due to the flexibility of the cyclohexene ring. However, the diastereomers could be separated and after cleavage of the auxiliary, 4-hydroxy-2-cyclohexen-1-one was isolated in enantiomerically pure form, which can serve as a building block for natural product synthesis.     

基于改善空间关联性的混沌控制

基于混沌信号的统计特性，提出了一种通过改善混沌信号的空间关联性实现混沌控制的方法.以Hénon离散混沌系统和四阶Chua's电路超混沌连续系统为例进行了数值研究，验证了这种控制方法的有效性.结果表明， 通过改善混沌信号之间的空间关联性， 混沌系统能以较快的速度收敛到它的平衡点或多种周期轨道. 关键词： 混沌控制 空间关联性 Hénon系统 四阶Chua's电路
