<正>We presented a novel orthogonally linearly polarized Nd:YVO4 laser.Two pieces of a-cut grown-together composite YVO4/Nd:YVO4 crystals were placed in the resonant cavity with the c-axis of the two crystals orthogonally.The polarization and power performance of the orthogonally polarized laser were investigated.A 26.2-W orthogonally linearly polarized laser was obtained.The power ratio between the two orthogonally polarized lasers was varied with the pump power caused by the polarized mode coupling.The longitudinal modes competition and the corresponding variable optical beats were also observed from the orthogonally polarized laser.We also adjusted the crystals with their c-axis parallele to each other,and a 40.7-W linearly polarized TEMoo laser was obtained,and the beam quality factors were Mx2=1.37 and My2 =1.25.  相似文献

The flutter instability of stiffened composite panels subjected to aerodynamic forces in the supersonic flow is investigated. We have fabricated lead-free Bi0.5(Na0.75K0.25)0.5TiO3 (BNKT) ceramics by a conventional process (CP) and reactive templated grain growth (RTGG) methods. The effect of grain orientation on structure, dielectric, complex impedance and electrical properties was investigated. The phase formation and grain morphology of BNKT ceramics were examined by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscope (SEM), respectively. High dielectric constant and low dielectric loss was observed for grain oriented (textured) BNKT ceramics. Complex impedance, temperature dependent ac and dc conductivity were performed to explore the conduction behavior of the prepared BNKT ceramics.  相似文献

Textured composite samples consisting of Nd13.6Fe73.6Ga0.6Co6.6B5.6 (MQU-F™) and micron-sized Fe particles with weight ratios from 100:0 to 70:30 have been prepared by hot deformation. Microstructure studies revealed a layered structure of both phases with the layer normal parallel to the pressing direction. Magnetic measurements showed single-phase hysteresis curves for all samples when measured along the pressing direction, which is also the easy axis of magnetization. Coercivity decreased drastically from 1.32 T for pure NdFeB samples to 0.154 T for a sample with 30 wt% Fe. Magneto-optical Kerr microscopy with a digitally enhanced imaging technique has been used to examine the evolution of magnetic domains in the hard and soft phase during demagnetizing a sample consisting of 70 wt% NdFeB and 30 wt% Fe. It is shown that demagnetization takes place via domain rearrangements within the soft phase, which lead to and support the nucleation of reversed interaction domains at phase boundaries. Also nucleation of interaction domains within the hard magnetic phase could be revealed.  相似文献

Quantitative predictions of the behavior of many deterministic systems are uncertain due to ubiquitous heterogeneity and insufficient characterization by data. We present a computational approach to quantify predictive uncertainty in complex phenomena, which is modeled by (partial) differential equations with uncertain parameters exhibiting multi-scale variability. The approach is motivated by flow in random composites whose internal architecture (spatial arrangement of constitutive materials) and spatial variability of properties of each material are both uncertain. The proposed two-scale framework combines a random domain decomposition (RDD) and a probabilistic collocation method (PCM) on sparse grids to quantify these two sources of uncertainty, respectively. The use of sparse grid points significantly reduces the overall computational cost, especially for random processes with small correlation lengths. A series of one-, two-, and three-dimensional computational examples demonstrate that the combined RDD–PCM approach yields efficient, robust and non-intrusive approximations for the statistics of diffusion in random composites.  相似文献

1D composite nanofibers of poly(vinylpyrrolidone) (PVP, MW≈60,000) doped with three Er(III) complexes were prepared by electrospinning. They demonstrated strong near-infrared (NIR) photoluminescence (PL) at 1535 nm and ternary Er(TTA)3Phen (denoted as Er2, where TTA=2-thenoyltrifluoroacetonate; Phen=1,10-phenanthroline) fibers (Er2/PVP) exhibited maximum PL intensity. The crystal structure of Er2 complex has been determined by X-ray diffraction measurements. Er2 doped in fibers exhibited better thermal stability of NIR PL than the pure Er2 complex. These luminescent composite fibers have potential application in optical amplifiers.  相似文献

Using electron microscopy and X-ray microanalysis, the formation of tracks by laser processing of AlN:Y2O3 ceramic surfaces was investigated. The main process of channel formation is the decomposition of aluminum nitride (AlN). Due to aluminothermic reduction of Y2O3, the metallization of channel surfaces occurs. The current status of the direct Dark Matter experiments CRESST (Cryogenic Rare Event Search with Superconducting Thermometers) and the planned EURECA (European Underground Rare Event Calorimeter Array) is presented. Both experiments are aimed at the direct detection of WIMPs (Weakly Interacting Massive Particles), potential candidates for the Dark Matter in the universe. New design developments of the cryogenic detectors operated at mK temperatures are investigated to optimize detector performance and to simplify mass production. Thus, CRESST is also providing a basis for the EURECA project, aimed at a ton of cryogenic detectors with a multi-material target.  相似文献

This paper is devoted to the study of the asymptotic behavior of the solutions of singularly perturbed transmission problems in a periodically perforated domain. The domain is obtained by making in a periodic set of holes, each of them of size proportional to a positive parameter ε. We first consider an ideal transmission problem and investigate the behavior of the solution as ε tends to 0. In particular, we deduce a representation formula in terms of real analytic maps of ε and of some additional parameters. Then we apply such result to a nonideal nonlinear transmission problem.  相似文献
