A numerical study of the motion of a wave running up a beach

The main difficulty for the numerical calculation of the wave running up a beach is the treatment of its moving water boundary. In this paper a scheme of turning the free boundary problem into a fixed boundary problem is designed. The calculated run-up height is consistent with the experiments. Some interesting wave phenomena are also found.     

On the boundary value problem of elastostatics in terms of stresses

The boundary value problem of elastostatics in terms of six components of the stress consists of nine equations and three boundary conditions. In this paper, we distinguished between the possible cases and impossible cases, i.e., the problem is or is not equivalent to a boundary value problem of six equations and six boundary conditions.     

NONLINEAR VIBRATION OF CIRCULAR SANDWICH PLATES UNDER CIRCUMJACENT LOAD

Based on von Karman plate theory, the issue about nonlinear vibration for circular sandwich plates under circumjacent load with the loosely clamped boundary condition was researched. Nonlinear differential eigenvalue equations and boundary conditions of the problem were formulated by variational method and then their exact static solution can be got. The solution was derived by modified iteration method, so the analytic relations between amplitude and nonlinear oscillating frequency for circular sandwich plates were obtained. When circumjacent load makes the lowest natural frequency zero, critical load is obtained.

本文用加权残值得到了沿垂等温平板的自然对流问题的近似解析解。和已有准确解的比较表明，在平板表面附近，近似解有很好的精度，而且速度场的精度比温度场更好一些。文末还对配域法的准收敛问题作了说明。

An apparent paradox in the mechanics of strings

We show with a simple example that cases of incompatibility (first displayed by Signorini) between the nonlinear and the linearized version of the same problem occur also in contact problems.

考虑法向压力梯度的三维旋转边界层计算

本文以量级分析为基础,建立了一般曲线坐标系上的三维旋转边界层方程。对旋转在边界层中的影响进行分析之后,提出了一个能够处理壁面法向压力梯度不为零问题的压力梯度迭代方法。在传统的Box法的基础上发展了一套完整的求解三维旋转边界层的方法和程序,并对螺旋面、压气机转子叶面以及圆柱面上的旋转边界层进行了计算,与他人的计算和实验的对比分析表明,该方法和程序是正确的,可用于求解任意几何物面上的三维旋转边界层。     

ASYMPTOTIC NON-STABILITY AND BLOW-UP AT BOUNDARY FOR SOLUTIONS OF A FILTRATION EQUATION

For a class of nonlinear filtration equation with nonlinear second-third boundary value condition, it is shown that a priori boundary of the solution can be estimated and controlled by initial data and integral on the boundary of the region. The priori estimate of the solutions was established by iterative method. By using this estimate the solutions may blow-up on the boundary of the region and thus it may have asymptotic non-stability.     

逆向环形分布射流迴流特性的数值计算

数值计算表明,逆向多环形分布射流可造成颗粒能直接进入,并能进行强烈的动量、能量交換的理想的迴流区结构。多环形结构可在大范围內造成所需尺寸的迴流区。逆向射流和主流速度比、环直径、射流直径和孔数、环的结构形式及离燃烧室进口的距离是影响迴流特性的主要参数。     

在无单元法里直接准确施加位移边界条件和材料不连续条件

在无单元伽辽金法(EFG)里，由于其滑动最小二乘近似位移函数不满足Kronecker条件，使得它不能准确地施加本质边界条件和材料不连续条件，从而极大地限制了EFG法的发展和进一步应用。本文在位移边界和不同材料交界面的离散结点上采用实际的结点位移值，提出了一种准确施加位移边界和材料不连续条件的方法，该方法实施简单、稳定、求解精度高，而且其推导得出的整体刚度矩阵具有正定、对称和带状分布的特点，可以和有限单元法一样，直接利用各种成熟、高效的线性方程组解法求解系统平衡方程。数值算例结果表明了文中理论和方法的正确性和可靠性。
