Two novel high valent complexes [M2(III, III)L(p--OAc)2].PF6 (M=Mn, Fe; 9) were prepared, where L was the tri-anion of 2,6-bis{[(2-hydroxy-3-(morpholin-4-yl methyl)-5-tertbutyl benzyl)(pyridyl-2-methyl)amino]methyl}-4-methyl phenol which contained additional phenolic, tert-butyl and morpholin-4-yl methyl groups compared to its parent [Mn2(Ⅱ, Ⅱ)(bpmp)(μ-OAc)2]-ClO4 (10). Kinetics of processes of electrochemical production of a cobalt-molybdenum alloy out of an ammonia-citrate electrolyte is studied. The electrolyte’s composition is similar to that used for depositing a nickel-molybdenum alloy. It is established that the cobalt-molybdenum alloy undergoes deposition at smaller values of pH (5.0–6.0) than the nickel-molybdenum alloy (7.0–9.0). The current efficiency for the cobalt-molybdenum alloy is substantially dependent on the electrolyte pH, whereas the chemical composition of the obtained deposits is practically independent of the electrolyte pH in the pH interval 5.0–8.0 at current densities of 0.025 to 0.100 A cm?2. On the other hand, a change in the electrolyte pH produces a considerable effect on the morphology of the obtained deposits. At large values of pH (pH 8.0), one can obtain a powder-like deposit of the cobalt-molybdenum alloy with a small value of the current efficiency. The deposits that are obtained in the pH region 5.0–6.0 have some cracks, with the number of cracks increasing with the electrolyte pH. 相似文献

Artificial cells containing concentrated hemoglobin (Hb) solution were prepared by interfacial polymerization of Hb with glutaraldehyde
(GA) in liquid membrane capsules (LMC). A solution containing 30% of Hb was emulsified in mineral oil as red cell-size microdroplets,
and this emulsion was dispersed in an aqueous phase containing glutaraldehyde to form LMC. The LMC were semipermeable templates
that held the microdroplets of Hb in suspension while GA diffused through the oil to the microdroplet surfaces. The GA crosslinked
Hb at the surface of each microdroplet to form an artificial red-cell membrane encapsulating Hb solution. A water-soluble
surfactant was used to eject the cells from the LMC and suspend them in saline.
Several surfactants were evaluated. Cell size was controlled by agitation speed during preparation of the original emulsion.
Cells of 2.52 = ±1.69 μm were prepared. The encapsulated Hb retained capacity to bind and release O2. The cells had aP

Summary Cruciate ligaments of the knee joint are important structures very often affected by the degenerative process in case of osteoarthritis. One of the most controversial issues in knee arthroplasty practice nowadays is the role of the posterior cruciate ligament. With foregoing studies authors have demonstrated the feasibility of DSC in the investigation of the musculoskeletal system. With current study authors established the thermal behaviour of healthy cruciate ligaments and detected the alterations in case of osteoarthritis. By establishing the DSC scans of the normal ligaments authors demonstrated clear differences between the posterior and anterior ligament. In addition alterations between normal and arthritic samples could be detected both in terms of changes in total enthalpy and heat capacity. The influence of the Bardeen-Herring back-jump correlations on the Fermi-Dirac statistics of the one-dimensional nonhomogeneous fermionic lattice gas is studied by the Monte Carlo simulation technique and semianalytically.
