The dispersion relations and Landau damping of Alfven waves in kinetic and inertial limits are studied in temperature anisotropic Cairns distributed plasma.In the case of kinetic Alfven waves(KAWs),it is found that the real frequency is enhanced when either the electron perpendicular temperature or the non-thermal parameter A increases.For inertial Alfven waves(IAWs),the real frequency is slightly affected by the electron temperature anisotropy and A.Besides the real frequency,the damping rate of KAWs is reduced when the electron perpendicular temperature or A increases.In the case of IAWs,the temperature anisotropy and A either enhance or reduce the damping rate depending upon the perpendicular wavelength.These results may be helpful to understand the dynamics of KAWs and IAWs in space plasmas where the non-Maxwellian distribution of particles are routinely observed. 相似文献

This paper proposes a new generalized homotopy algorithm for the solution of multiobjective optimization problems with equality constraints. We consider the set of Pareto candidates as a differentiable manifold and construct a local chart which is fitted to the local geometry of this Pareto manifold. New Pareto candidates are generated by evaluating the local chart numerically. The method is capable of solving multiobjective optimization problems with an arbitrary number k of objectives, makes it possible to generate all types of Pareto optimal solutions, and is able to produce a homogeneous discretization of the Pareto set. The paper gives a necessary and sufficient condition for the set of Pareto candidates to form a (k-1)-dimensional differentiable manifold, provides the numerical details of the proposed algorithm, and applies the method to two multiobjective sample problems. 相似文献

Sparse approximate inverse (SAI) techniques have recently emerged as a new class of parallel preconditioning techniques for
solving large sparse linear systems on high performance computers. The choice of the sparsity pattern of the SAI matrix is
probably the most important step in constructing an SAI preconditioner. Both dynamic and static sparsity pattern selection
approaches have been proposed by researchers. Through a few numerical experiments, we conduct a comparable study on the properties
and performance of the SAI preconditioners using the different sparsity patterns for solving some sparse linear systems.

Viscous profiles of shock waves in systems of conservation laws can be viewed as heteroclinic orbits in associated systems of ordinary differential equations (ODE). In the case of overcompressive shock waves, these orbits occur in multi-parameter families. We propose a numerical method to compute families of heteroclinic orbits in general systems of ODE. The key point is a special parameterization of the heteroclinic manifold which can be understood as a generalized phase condition; in the case of shock profiles, this phase condition has a natural interpretation regarding their stability. We prove that our method converges and present numerical results for several systems of conservation laws. These examples include traveling waves for the Navier-Stokes equations for compressible viscous, heat-conductive fluids and for the magnetohydrodynamics equations for viscous, heat-conductive, electrically resistive fluids that correspond to shock wave solutions of the associated ideal models, i.e., the Euler, resp. Lundquist, equations.

基于高功率激光装置对脉冲氙灯工程运行可靠性的要求,利用现有的能源模块开展了氙灯放电考核实验。实验结果表明:虽然氙灯运行在安全的能量负载水平,当能源模块单个放电回路的峰值功率超过300 MW时,氙灯石英玻璃管壁存在热损伤风险。肉眼观察到管壁损伤后在反射器对侧的灯管内壁出现乳白色沉积层。经扫描电镜和X射线光电子能谱测试分析,证实热损伤形成的乳白色沉积物为二氧化硅。为探究管壁热损伤机制,采用高速摄影观测了氙灯放电等离子体沟道发展过程。图像显示放大器内金属反射器的几何形状对放电沟道的分布产生了显著影响,尤其是在侧灯箱,灯内电弧沟道会靠近反射器一侧集中分布,因此,导致等离子体对灯管的偏烧。当放电峰值功率超过石英热负载极限时,管壁表面二氧化硅材料会被烧蚀至蒸发、气化,并随后沉积在灯管较冷部位。研究结果表明放电回路的放电峰值功率过高、放大器内金属反射器均会对氙灯造成热损伤。 相似文献
