The predicted, but as yet unobserved, intradonor absorption spectrum of the hydrogenic-like donors in CdF2 crystals is presented. The role of phonon coupling in these spectra is discussed. From the data on the insulator-semiconductor transition in CdPbF2 it is concluded that the dominant factor in convertibility of CdF2 to a semiconducting state is its electron affinity, the largest among the fluorites (x≈4 eV).  相似文献

A formalism has been developed to calculate the steady-state temperature profiles induced by a cw laser in a composite system comprising a thick medium covered with a film of another medium. The analysis is carried out assuming that thermal and optical properties of the media are temperature-independent. A concept of the effective thermal conductivity for the system is introduced in terms of the maximum temperature rise. Temperature-distributions are numerically computed in typical cases for a circular Gaussian beam to illustrate dependence on film thickness, thermal conductivities and absorption coefficients of the media and size of the laser beam.  相似文献

Y2O3:Eu3+ phosphor is a very attractive material for use as a red phosphor in many fields. SrAl2O4:Eu2+ belongs to long lasting phosphor (LLP) and it is a useful bluish-green luminescence material, which can also be a promising candidate as a simple and easy-to-use radiation detection element for visual display of two dimensional radiation distributions. In the present study, both these two kinds of phosphors were synthesized using high temperature solid state reactions. In our work, the influence of gamma-ray irradiation on the properties of these two kinds of phosphors was studied by comparing photoluminescence, brightness and the decay curve of unirradiated and gamma-ray-irradiated samples. Conclusions from the present work can be briefly summarized as follows. In irradiated samples, the brightness is decreased without sensible change in the wavelength distribution of the luminescence spectrum and in the decay kinetic upon gamma exposure. Moreover, the emission due to Eu3+→Eu2+ conversion in Y2O3:Eu3+ phosphors was not observed in our sample after irradiation to high exposure. Also the brightness of SrAl2O4:Eu2+ phosphor turned out to decrease after the exposition to ionizing radiation while the luminescence wavelength distribution remained unchanged. The reason for the effect of gamma-ray irradiation on the properties of phosphors is also discussed in the paper.  相似文献

地面模拟研究了JGS3光学石英玻璃在真空、热沉和能量低于200keV的低能质子辐照下表面光学性能变化的基本规律.并建立了辐照损伤色心演化的动力学唯象模型。试验结果表明.大通量低能质子辐照对石英玻璃表层具有明显的表面损伤效应。随着辐照吸收剂量的增加,光密度变化先以线性规律迅速增加.加进一步增加时逐渐呈现饱和趋势;采用较高能量辐照作用后光密度变化出现饱和趋势的拐点提前,且饱和数值降低。根据对试验结果的分析,建立了低能质子辐照下石英玻璃色心演化的动力学模型.并给出了光密度变化的表达式。采用模型结果进行数学模拟,模拟曲线与试验结果曲线相似。因此所建立的动力学模型可以用来定量描述低能质子辐照下石英玻璃光学性能随辐照吸收剂量的变化规律。  相似文献

The design of nonuniform bilateral finlines on anisotropic substrates for millimeter wave applications is presented. The taper consists of a planar circuit with smooth variation of the slot width profile along the structure. The spectral domain method and Galerkin procedure are combined with the transmission line theory for studying the behavior of tapered bilateral finlines and evaluation of their design parameters. The influence of the substrate anisotropy on the propagation characteristics of these structures is also examined. This technique is general and can be applied to investigate a broad class of planar transmission line tapers.  相似文献

We shall focus on extended defect systems and review their critical behavior. Primarily, with two aims, one of which is to understand phase transitions and how to derive effective dimension of extended defects with various structures, and the other is to propose a new research-method for defect systems, we let extended defects grow on a triangular lattice with frustration in a similar fashion to diffusion-limited aggregation, and discuss the situation. The existence of phase transitions, phase diagram, effective defect dimension, etc. will be shown. Furthermore, we shall summarize theoretical studies of extended defect systems on phase diagrams, critical behavior, tricritical behavior, and crossover behavior as static properties, and on nonconserved systems and conserved systems as dynamic properties.  相似文献

The ultrasonic velocity of the alkali-borosilicate with different transition metal oxides (TMO) has been studied using the pulse echo technique. The elastic moduli such as elastic constant and bulk modulus have been obtained from the experimental data. Changes in the structure with different gamma irradiation doses have been investigated by using FTIR spectroscopy and ultrasonic studies. The results show that structural changes in the BO3 to BO4 due to TMO and irradiation are obtained.  相似文献

The microstructure of anisotropically shaped grains can strongly influence a range of material properties, including transport, mechanical and electro-optical. A grain-structure-related phenomenon, known as excluded volume epitaxy (EVE), is reported in this study. EVE is a local, inter-grain orientational correlations effect, which results from a combination of continuous nucleation of anisotropic grains and impingement of growing grains. Due to EVE, anisotropically shaped grains have a tendency to be similarly aligned in a local neighbourhood, despite the absence of any forced global orientation in the sample. The effect has been repeatedly observed by the authors in block copolymers, as illustrated by a representative TEM image. Optical microscopy of anisotropically shaped non-polymeric crystals revealed the generality of this effect. The simulation study revealed a tendency for azimuthal, inter-grain orientational correlation and re-confirmed the experimental observation of EVE.  相似文献

We derive an expression of the core traction contribution to the dislocation elastic energy within linear anisotropic elasticity theory using the sextic formalism. With this contribution, the elastic energy is a state variable consistent with the work of the Peach–Koehler forces. This contribution needs also to be considered when extracting from atomic simulations core energies. The core energies thus obtained are real intrinsic dislocation properties: they do not depend on the presence and position of other defects. This is illustrated by calculating core energies of edge dislocation in bcc iron, where we show that dislocations gliding in {110} planes are more stable than those gliding in {112} planes.  相似文献

A constitutive crystal plasticity model is proposed and developed for the inelastic deformation of irradiated bcc ferritic/martensitic steels. Defects found in these irradiated materials are used as substructure variables in the model. Insights from lower length- and time-scale simulations are used to frame the kinematic and substructure evolution relations of the governing deformation mechanisms. Models for evolution of mobile and immobile dislocations, as well as interstitial loops (formed due to irradiation), are developed. A rate theory-based approach is used to model the evolution of point defects generated during irradiation. The model is used to simulate the quasi-static tensile and creep response of a martensitic steel over a range of loading histories.  相似文献
