Torsion simple modules over the quantum spatial ageing algebra

Various classes of simple torsion modules are classified over the quantum spatial ageing algebra (this is a Noetherian algebra of Gelfand-Kirillov dimension 4). Explicit constructions of these modules are given and for each module its annihilator is found.

Variation in the wave resistance of an amphibian air-cushion vehicle moving over a broken-ice field

The nonstationary rectilinear motion of an amphibian air-cushion vehicle (AACV) on a water surface covered with finely broken ice is considered for various modes of velocity variation. The influence of the water depth, flotation parameters, and mode of motion on the wave resistance of the vehicle is analyzed. 西安地铁二号线沿线地裂缝未来位错量估算及工程分级

地裂缝在地铁设计使用期内的最大垂直位错量是西安地铁二号线穿越地裂缝结构设计的一个十分重要的参数。本文以历史水准监测资料为基础,分析了西安地铁二号线沿线各地裂缝在不同历史阶段的活动特征与活动原因,对各地裂缝的未来活动趋势进行了预测。然后通过基于不同时间段地裂缝活动速率的最大垂直位错量估算结果的对比分析,得出了地铁设计使用期内各条地裂缝与地铁交汇点处地裂缝的最大垂直位错量,并以此为依据,将西安地铁二号线沿线地裂缝分为Ⅰ、Ⅱ、Ⅲ和Ⅳ级等4个工程级别。     

A solution approach for optimizing long- and short-term production scheduling at LKAB’s Kiruna mine

We present a mixed-integer program to schedule long- and short-term production at LKAB’s Kiruna mine, an underground sublevel caving mine located in northern Sweden. The model minimizes deviations from monthly preplanned production quantities while adhering to operational constraints. Because of the mathematical structure of the model and its moderately large size, instances spanning a time horizon of more than a year or two tend to be intractable. We develop an optimization-based decomposition heuristic that, on average, obtains better solutions faster than solving the model directly. We show that for realistic data sets, we can generate solutions with deviations that comprise about 3-6% of total demand in about a third of an hour.     

A hybrid legendre tau method for the solution of a class of nonlinear wave equations with nonlinear dissipative terms

This article presents a technique based on the hybrid Legendre tau‐finite difference method to solve the fourth order wave equation which arises in the elasto‐plastic‐microstructure models for longitudinal motion of an elasto‐plastic bar. Illustrative examples and numerical results obtained using new technique demonstrate that the proposed approach is efficient in treating longitudinal equation of ealsto‐plastic bar. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. 基于风险理念的黄土滑坡调查与编图研究

滑坡风险管理在国外已成为缓减地质灾害损失的重要手段,我国(香港地区除外)在滑坡风险管理方面起步较晚,尚处于探索阶段,目前正在开展的地质灾害详细调查项目尚没有很好地采用国际上流行的风险管理的理念和技术方法。本文以国土资源大调查部署实施的延安市宝塔区地质灾害详细调查示范项目为例,借鉴国际滑坡和工程边坡联合技术委员会制订的《土地利用规划滑坡易发性、危险性、风险区划指南》^[1] 及相关最新文献^[2~7],剖析了《滑坡崩塌泥石流灾害详细调查规范》和地质灾害详细调查项目实施中存在的问题及其与风险管理之间的差距。认为我国目前开展的地质灾害详细调查总体上属于中比例尺,还没有达到详细比例尺; 调查精度包括了高精度、中精度和低精度3种精度层次。提出了基于GIS、DEM、RS、地面调查等技术方法的黄土滑坡调查与编图的工作思路和技术路线。从1 :5万滑坡调查与风险编图、1 :1万滑坡调查与风险编图、村镇及重要基础设施滑坡调查与风险评估、典型滑坡点风险调查与评估4个方面,总结了基于风险管理理念的延安市宝塔区黄土滑坡调查与风险编图实例,旨在为《滑坡崩塌泥石流灾害详细调查规范》的修编和地质灾害详细调查项目更好地实施提供借鉴。
