以小振幅波理论为基础,利用奇异摄动方法研究了有背景流存在下两层密度成层状态下的毛细重力波,求得了两层密度成层状态下各层流体速度势的三阶解及毛细重力波波面位移的三阶Stokes波解,并讨论了毛细重力波的kelvin-Helmholtz的不稳定性.结果表明在有流存在的情况下,两层密度成层流体毛细重力波的一阶渐近解、频散关系,二阶渐近解及三阶渐近解不仅依赖于各层流体的厚度和密度,也依赖于表面张力和各层流体的背景流流场;毛细重力波的三阶解描述了背景流场与毛细重力波之问的三阶非线性相互作用.对于给定的波数k(实数)毛细重力波可能出现kelvin-Helmholtz不稳定性.  相似文献

The goal of non-destructive testing (NDT) is to determine the position and size of structural defects, in order to measure the quality and evaluate the safety of building materials. Most NDT techniques are rather complex, however, requiring specialized knowledge. In this article, we introduce an experimental method for crack detection that uses Surface Acoustic Waves (SAWs) and optical measurements. The method is tested on a steel beam engraved with slots of known depth. A simple model to determine the cracks size is also proposed. At the end of the article, we describe a possible application: fatigue crack sizing on a damaged slat track. This technique represents a first step toward a better understanding of the crack growth, especially in its early stages (preferably when the cracks can still be repaired) and when it is possible to assume a linear propagation of the crack front. The ultimate goal of this research program is to develop a useful method of monitoring aircraft components during fatigue testing.  相似文献

We present an analytical formula for the waveform of the electric potential associated with a tripolar spike in a plasma. This formula is based on the construction and on the subsequent solution of a differential equation for the waveform. We work out this equation as a direct consequence of the morphological and functional properties of the observed waveform, without making any reference to the velocity distributions of the electrons and of the ions which sustain the spike. In the approximation of small potential amplitudes, we solve this equation by quadrature. In particular, in the second order approximation, the solution of this equation is given in terms of elementary functions. This analytical solution is able to reproduce the potential waveforms associated with electron holes, ion holes, monotonic and nonmonotonic double layers and tripolar spikes, in excellent agreement with observations.  相似文献

We study wave propagation in a one-dimensional disordered array of scattering potentials. We calculate the mean and the variance of the resistance of the array, defined as the ratio of reflected to transmitted intensity, for a rather wide class of probability distributions characterizing the disorder. Our method is based on a mapping of the wave propagation onto the motion of a two-dimensional oscillator which is perturbed parametrically.  相似文献

We study waves in convex scalar conservation laws under noisy initial perturbations. It is known that the building blocks of these waves are shock and rarefaction waves, both are invariant under hyperbolic scaling. Noisy perturbations can generate complicated wave patterns, such as diffusion process of shock locations. However we show that under the hyperbolic scaling, the solutions converge in the sense of distribution to the unperturbed waves. In particular, randomly perturbed shock waves move at the unperturbed velocity in the scaling limit. Analysis makes use of the Hopf formula of the related Hamilton-Jacobi equation and regularity estimates of noisy processes. AMS subject classifications: 35L60, 35B40, 60H15  相似文献

A probabilistic signal processing method, with which is possible to get some methodological suggestion to the measurement method of correlative and/or accumulative effects in the compound environment of sound, light and electromagnetic (EM) waves is discussed. In order to extract various types of latent interrelation characteristics among wave environmental factors leaked from an actually operating video display terminal (VDT), an extended regression system model, hierarchically reflecting not only linear correlation information but also nonlinear correlation information, is first introduced, especially from a viewpoint of ‘relationism-first’. Then, through estimating each regression parameter of this model, some original evaluation methods for predicting a whole probability distribution form, from one another, are proposed. Finally, the effectiveness of the methods is experimentally confirmed, by applying them to the actual observed data leaked by a VDT with some television games. To cite this article: M. Summary Self-similar solutions of isothermal flows behind a cylindrical magnetogasdynamic blast wave have been obtained. A strong cylindrical shock wave generated by a sudden line source explosion in an inhomogeneous medium of electrically conducting gas has been studied. Numerical and analytical treatments have been presented and a uniformly valid distribution of pressure, density and velocity profiles has been determined and the magnetic-field effects on the flow distributions have been investigated. The shock propagation law is determined by extending Whitham’s rule for a MGD flow with infinite electrical conductivity.
Riassunto Si sono ottenute soluzioni autosimili di flussi isotermici dietro un’onda espansiva, magnetogasdinamica, cilindrica. è stata studiata un’onda d’urto forte cilindrica generata da un’improvvisa esplosione a sorgente lineare in un mezzo non omogeneo di un gas elettricamente conduttore. Si presentano trattamenti numerici e analitici e si è determinata una distribuzione uniformemente valida dei profili di pressione, densità e velocità e si sono studiati gli effetti del campo magnetico sulle distribuzioni del flusso. La legge di propagazione dell’urto si determina estendendo la regola di Whitham per un flusso MGD con conduttività elettrica infinita.

Исследется сильная цилиндческая ударная волна, которая обрзуетсяв резуль↦ате внеапного взрыва линейного истоника в неоднородной среде электрически проводящего газа. Проводятся численное и аналитическое рассмотрение. Определяжтся распредение давления, профили плотности и скорости. йсследуется влияние магнитного поля на распредение потока. Определется закон распространения ударной волны, обобшая правило Витама для магнитогазодинамического потока с бесконечной электрической проводимостью.
