New commercial dosimetry systems need careful characterization and can benefit from the comparison with similar, in-house developed solutions. A comparison between such two dosimetry systems, both based on fibre-coupled organic plastic scintillator detectors, is presented. One system is the Exradin W1, fully commercialized by Standard Imaging, while the other system is the non-commercial ME40 system, developed by DTU Nutech with the aim of fundamental dosimetric research. Both systems employ plastic scintillator detectors that can be considered similar in design, calibrated using the same method, but differing primarily in the signal detection hardware. The two systems were compared with respect to essential dosimetric properties, with the purpose of testing their performance under conditions less well discussed in the literature. A Farmer ionization chamber was used as the primary reference of the comparison. The study demonstrated that the Cerenkov light ratio calibration coefficient of both systems was not constant, but changed systematically with photon beam quality to a maximum difference of 1.1%. Calibration with respect to stem effect correction should therefore be performed for every investigated beam quality when using plastic scintillator detectors. Both systems were found to be dose rate independent, even for the highest instantaneous dose rate evaluated (1.5 mGy per pulse). Low-dose measurements revealed large uncertainties for both systems, although the ME40 system handled short beam deliveries under reference conditions with accuracy and precision within 0.4%. Changes in response due to field size dependence were investigated and found to be as large as 3.3% for the W1 and 5.4% for the ME40, biasing output factor measurements in large fields. Great caution is therefore advised if using either system for measurements in large fields or under circumstances where the fibre irradiation geometry is unfavourable. Measurements of reference dose to water yielded differences up to 1.5% when compared with the Farmer ionization chamber for all investigated beam qualities. 相似文献

Electrical field components of metal‐surface plasmon resonance were analyzed in detail. Both longitudinal optical (LO) and transverse optical (TO) phonon modes of a biaxially strained Si layer can be excited by surface‐enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS). The z to y polarization ratio in SERS measurements was calculated to be 0.78 using the intensity ratio of TO to LO phonon modes. The unique optical properties of Tamm plasmons (TPs) – such as flexible wavevector matching conditions including inplane wavevector within the light line, and existing both S‐ and P‐polarized TPs − facilitate them for direct optical excitation. The Tamm plasmon‐coupled emission (TPCE) from a combined photonic–plasmonic structure sustaining both surface plasmons (SPs) and TPs is described in this paper. The sensitivity of TPCE to the emission wavelength and polarization is examined with back focal plane imaging and verified with the numerical calculations. The results reveal that the excited probe can couple with both TPs and SPs, resulting in surface plasmon‐coupled emission (SPCE) and TPCE, respectively. The TPCE angle is strongly dependent on the wavelength allowing for spectral resolution using different observation angles. These Tamm structures provide a new tool to control the optical emission from dye molecules and have many potential applications in fluorescence‐based sensing and imaging. 相似文献

为实现高精度瑞奇-康芒法检测,利用检测系统光瞳面与被测平面镜二者间的坐标转换关系,结合最小二乘法直接对测得的系统波像差进行恢复,通过两角度检测分离由光路调整引入的离焦误差,得到更为精准的平面镜面形。分析光路中测试距离对坐标转换关系以及瑞奇角求解精度的影响,根据仿真分析结果确定实验方案。实验中采用两角度检测,对测试波前进行恢复并分离系统调整误差后,最终得到被检平面镜面形,结果峰谷(PV)值为0.182λ、均方根(RMS)值为0.0101λ,对比干涉仪直接检测结果 PV值为0.229λ、RMS值为0.013λ,PV检测精度优于λ/20,RMS检测精度优于λ/100,实验结果证明了此种面形恢复方法的有效性以及测试距离精度分析理论的正确性,从而实现了瑞奇-康芒法高精度检测。 相似文献

微结构的表面形貌会显著地影响微纳器件的使用性能及产品质量,是微纳测试领域的一个重要研究方面,利用白光干涉技术是测量物体表面形貌的一种常见方法。区别于常用的CCD黑白相机,使用CCD彩色相机采集白光干涉条纹的彩色图像,使获取的图像包含了R、G、B三个通道的信息。利用小波变换法分别求解出在不同扫描位置处R、G、B通道的相位信息,通过建立的评价函数,并结合最小二乘法可精确确定零光程差的位置,利用相对高度和零光程差位置的线性关系,进而得到物体的表面形貌。通过仿真以及实际测量由VLSI标准公司制造的标准台阶结构,验证了所提出方法的有效性。 相似文献

采用高速摄像仪以10000 帧/s的拍摄速度对液滴低速撞击润湿球体表面过程进行了实验观测, 分析了液滴撞击后的反弹、局部反弹和铺展等现象, 考察了黏度对撞击过程的影响; 在此基础上, 定量讨论了液滴铺展特征参数随撞击速度、球体直径和黏度的变化规律. 观测发现: 黏度较大且撞击速度较低时, 撞击后可能出现反弹和局部反弹, 黏度较小时则不发生; 铺展面积随撞击速度的增大而增大; 黏度增大时, 铺展因子减小; 在球体直径为4–20 mm范围内, 随着球体直径的增加, 铺展因子呈上升趋势.

本文通过数值模拟,研究了S809翼型表面沿切向顺时针方向速度运动时的气动性能.从计算结果看出,翼型表面运动能有效抑制或延缓大攻角流动分离,改善翼型的气动性能。在此基础上,为了仅考虑表面的运动效应,消除翼型几何外形对升阻力系数的影响,本文还研究了皮带轮翼型(由大小两个圆柱驱动的皮带轮)的气动特性。计算结果进一步表明,表面运动能有效地抑制翼型吸力面发生大规模流动分离,并可极大地增加翼型升力系数。 相似文献

The results of calculations of the total (lateral and vertical) relaxation of the (001) and (111) copper surfaces in the presence
of a small cluster of cobalt adatoms, local vibrational density of states and polarizations of these states are presented.
The calculations were performed using the atomic interaction potentials in a tight binding approximation. An analysis of the
results obtained showed that the presence of a cobalt dimer gives rise to modification of the vibrational states of the copper
surface and generation of new modes localized both on the adatoms of the cluster and the surface atoms of the substrate. The
revealed anisotropy of surface relaxation along [001] results in deformation of atomic bonding and splitting of the vibrational
modes of the dimer. The lifetimes of the vibrational states of the dimer are found to be nearly equal for both surfaces under
study, with a frequency shift being however observed.

We use Monte Carlo simulation to calculate the distributions of particles under adsorption force near planar and cylindrical surfaces,respectively.Both hard sphere interaction and repulsive Yukawa (screened coulomb) interaction are employed in our simulations.We study the influence of the inter-particle potentials.The difference between the MC simulation results and the analytical results of ideal gas model shows that the interaction between particles plays an important role in the density distribution under external fields.Moreover,the 2-dimensional constructions of particles close to the surface are studied and show relations of the interaction between particles.These results may indicate us how to improve the methods of building nanoparticle coatings and nano-scale patterns. 相似文献
