On the Use of the Restitution Condition in Flexible Body Dynamics   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
The difference between the classical treatment offlexible body impact and the treatment of impact in flexiblemultibody dynamics is due to several fundamental reasons. Inthe classical impact theory, simple structures such as beamsand plates are used. Infinite dimensional models can bedeveloped for these simple structural elements to study theimpact dynamics and the wave propagation problem. Flexiblemultibody impact problems, on the other hand, involve bodieswith complex geometry that cannot be modeled using infinitenumber of degrees of freedom. Furthermore, the classicalimpact theory has been mainly concerned with the impactbetween a rigid mass that moves without constraints beforeit impacts a simple flexible structure. This is not amultibody simulation scenario in which the impact occursbetween kinematically constrained bodies that are subjectedto impulsive constraint forces in addition to the impactforces. These constraint forces can influence the motion ofthe two bodies immediately after impact, and as aconsequence, the simple classical theory scenario of impactdoes not apply. It is the objective of this paper to discussthe use of the restitution condition in flexible multibodyimpact problems and demonstrate that the use of thisapproach does not exclude the classical formulation.Nonetheless, the impulse momentum balance approach can serveas an effective and efficient procedure for solving theimpact problem in finite dimensional models that do not obeythe classical wave theory. Energy results of simplestructural elements are presented in order to demonstratethe consistency of using the impulse momentum balanceapproach in solving impact problems in finite dimensionalflexible body applications.  相似文献

In this paper, we argue that vehicle routing solutions are often tactical decisions, that should not be changed too often or too much. For marketing or other reasons, vehicle routing solutions should be stable, i.e. a new solution (when e.g. new customers require service) should be as similar as possible to a solution already in use. Simultaneously however, this new solution should still have a good quality in the traditional sense (e.g. small total travel cost). In this paper, we develop a way to measure the difference between two vehicle routing solutions. We use this distance measure to create a metaheuristic approach that will find solutions that are “close” (in the solution space) to a given baseline solution and at the same time have a high quality in the sense that their total distance traveled is small. By using this approach, the dispatcher is offered a choice of Pareto-optimal solutions, allowing him to make a trade-off between changing his existing solution and allowing a longer travel distance. Some experiments are performed to show the effectiveness of the approach.  相似文献

The mechanisms and processes of the formation of the regenerative soot in a graphite hollow cathode discharge that produces and emits carbon clusters are presented. Mass spectrometry with a specially designed E×B velocity filter analyzes the entire range of the charged clusters from C 1 to ∼C 4300. The state of the carbon vapour within the source is evaluated by using the characteristic line emissions from the carbonaceous discharge whose formative mechanisms depend upon the kinetic and potential sputtering of the sooted cathode. The carbonaceous discharge generates atomic and ionic C and its clusters C m (m≥ 2), noble gas metastable atoms and ions, energetic electrons and photons in the cavity of the graphite hollow cathode. The parameters of soot formation and its recycling depend critically on the discharge parameters, the geometry of the hollow cathode and 3D profile of the cusp magnetic field contours. 随着兰州重离子加速器冷却储存环(HIRFL-CSR)外靶实验终端中子墙的建立, 为实验测量高能中子提供了机遇. 为确定CSR外靶实验终端对中子流测量的可行性, 基于BUU理论模型分别对对称系统(Ni+Ni, Pb+Pb)和非对称系统(Pb+Ni)进行了模拟计算, 发现当系统能量达到几百MeV/u时, 中子流信号相当明显, 并与碰撞参数有明显的依赖关系. 模拟结果表明, 在前角20°的覆盖范围内, 可以较好地实现中子流测量所需要的反应平面确定及碰撞参数选择. 对双击事件及其对中子流的影响进行了简单的讨论.  相似文献

We have calculated total and differential cross-sections for 1sns (n = 2, 3, 4) electron impact excitation of hydrogen and hydrogenic ions at various energies in Coulomb-projected Born approximation. Distortion due to static interactions, target polarization and exchange effects has been incorporated in the initial channel. The present calculations have been compared with other theoretical and experimental results.  相似文献

The cross section of the 3s → 3p transition of sodium produced by electron impact has been calculated by performing a numerical integration of the coupled differential equations. The potential functions have been calculated exactly using the hydrogen‐like wave functions for the valence electron of the sodium with an effective charge adjusted to fit the experimental 3s → 3p line strength. The results compare very well with experimental data and with those obtained using more elaborate and sophisticated models.  相似文献

This paper presents the investigation on possible chaotic motion in a vehicle suspension system with hysteretic non-linearity, which is subjected to the multi-frequency excitation from road surface. The Melnikov’s function is used to derive the critical condition for the chaotic motion, and then it is investigated that the effects of parameters in non-linear damping on the chaotic field. The path from quasi-periodic to chaotic motion is found via Poincaré map and Lyapunov exponents.  相似文献

利用Hopkinson压杆技术对单边平行双裂纹试样倒向加载,在较大的加载率范围,对Ti6Al4V钛合金和40CrNiMoA两种材料的动态剪切断裂行为进行了研究.实验结果表明:存在两类韧性剪切断裂模式,即常规的韧性剪切型断裂和绝热剪切断裂.常规剪切型断裂模式的断裂韧性KⅡd随加载率的提高而增大,而绝热剪切型的断裂韧性KⅡd则随加载率的提高而减小,并且,当加载率增大至某一临界值时,常规的韧性剪切断裂模式将转变为绝热剪切断裂破坏模式.  相似文献
