In traffic system, driving behaviors change with the surrounding traffic perceived by drivers, resulting in the complex spatio-temporal traffic patterns. Accordingly, in the majority of traffic models, vehicle accelerations are described by dynamic equations based on driving behavior, system dynamics and some underlying steady-state velocity-gap (bumper-to-bumper spacing) relation in order to guarantee the realistic human behavior. This paper proposes a deterministic car-following model based on a multi-branch fundamental diagram with each branch representing a particular category of driving style. Furthermore, an additional dynamic perception equation is introduced to reflect the driving style adaptation in response to the change in surrounding traffic situations. With simulation based on the proposed “driver perception model” (DP model), empirical findings of traffic breakdown and observed spatio-temporal patterns at on-ramp vicinity are reproduced. Sound quality research of urban squares used for open-air (rock) concerts is very scarce. In contrast to the study of (classical) concert halls, little is known about useful design parameters. For the design of the amplification system, the sound engineer currently often takes into account the desired sound pressure level only.In this study, the ability of existing room acoustical parameters to characterize urban squares acoustically is investigated. An independent parameter set is identified for specific use on such squares. Besides the distribution of the sound pressure level over the square, different impulse response related parameters such as the clarity, center time, reverberation time and bass ratio were considered. In addition, binaural measures were included to measure qualities related to human spatial hearing.This study is based on a measurement campaign, performed at five squares in Belgium before and during life rock concerts. Special attention was paid to the signal processing methodology, given the significant amount of environmental noise often found at such squares during measurements. The variation of these parameters is investigated in relation to the square geometry, the amplification set-up and the presence of delay-lines. Parameters like C80, T30, IACCE3/L3 and ΔLeq,A/C were shown to be very useful when characterizing the sound field at urban squares. 相似文献

Predominant environmental noise classification over sound mixing based on source-specific dictionary

This paper presents a methodology to classify predominant urban acoustic sources in real mixed signals. This is based on a source-specific dictionary with atoms in the time–frequency domain using the Orthogonal Matching Pursuit (OMP) algorithm and identifying the class through a proposed selection criterion with a dynamic number of iterations involving a lower algorithm complexity. Several time–frequency atoms were evaluated considering retained energy and relative error to build a source-specific dictionary in the relevant classes. The source-specific dictionary has better results up to 7% in retained energy than to use an individual dictionary such as based on wavelet or Gabor functions, improving classification of predominant sources over sound mixing up to 9% compared to using standard dictionaries. Experimental results on classification are applied to mixture inter-class signals of two or more sources recorded by a real permanent monitoring system in an urban soundscape. The classification performance has successfully achieved identifying a predominant source in real inter-class mixtures of urban soundscapes. 相似文献

广东沿海陆地不仅是我国经济较为发达的地区 ,而且也是地震、水土流失、崩塌、滑坡、地裂缝、地面沉降、岩溶塌陷、软土地基形变等地质灾害较为频发的地区。基于对广东沿海陆地主要物理地质灾害形成条件与影响因素调查、统计与分析 ,将广东沿海陆地地质环境质量划分 :构造稳定性、斜坡稳定性和地基稳定性三个质量层面 ,进而构造了隶属三个层面的指标体系 ,该指标体系包括活动断裂、地震活动、地形起伏度、斜坡坡地、冲沟切割密度、水土流失程度、崩滑面密度、土体承载力和地裂缝面密度 9个指标。基于地质环境质量五值逻辑等级取值 :优等、良好、中等、较差和差等 ,对评价指标进行了相应地量化分级取值和标准化处理 ,在建立指标专家权重体系和线性隶属函数的基础上 ,构造了模糊数学综合评价模型。基于 Fortran程序对 190个剖分单元指标数据进行了模型运算 ,将广东沿海陆地地质环境划分为五个质量级共 17个地质环境质量单元。 相似文献
