Wave interaction with bodies is an important practical application for smoothed particle hydrodynamics (SPH) which in principle applies to steep and breaking waves without special treatment. However, few detailed tests have been undertaken even with small amplitude waves. In order to reduce computer time a variable particle mass distribution is tested here with fine resolution near the body and coarse resolution further away, while maintaining a uniform kernel size. We consider two well‐defined test cases, in two dimensions, of waves generated by a heaving semi‐immersed cylinder and progressive waves interacting with a fixed cylinder. But first, still water with hydrostatic pressure is tested. The open‐source code SPHysics ( http://www.sphysics.org )§Update made here after initial online publication. is used with a Riemann solver in an Arbitrary Lagrangian–Eulerian formulation. For the heaving cylinder, SPH results for far field wave amplitude and cylinder force show good agreement with the data of Yu and Ursell (J. Fluid Mech. 1961; 11 :529–551). For wave loading on a half‐submerged cylinder the agreement with the experimental data of Dixon et al. (J. Waterway Port Coastal Ocean Div. 1979; 105 :421–438) for the root mean square force is within 2%. For more submerged cases, the results show some discrepancy, but this was also found with other modelling approaches. The sensitivity of results to the value of the slope limiter used in the MUSCL‐based Riemann solver is demonstrated. This paper presents the performance analysis of a two-way relay system with nodes-mobility (NM) and channel estimation errors (CEE) under time-varying Rayleigh fading. Herein, analog network coding protocol is employed at the relay node. All the participating nodes are half-duplex and equipped with single-antenna devices. Specifically, we utilize first-order Markovian model to characterize the impact of NM in the channel. Along with the NM, we also consider that the CEE may exist in practical scenarios, where nodes require to estimate the channel state information. By incorporating these factors, we first derive the instantaneous end-to-end (e2e) signal-to-noise ratios (SNRs) at two source nodes. Then, we obtain the exact closed-form expressions for distribution and density functions of the two e2e SNRs. After that, we derive the accurate expressions of various performance metrics, viz., sum-bit error rate, overall outage probability, and ergodic sum-rate. Further, to attain more insights into the considered system, we deduce the asymptotic behavior of these performance metrics. Finally, numerical and Monte-Carlo simulation results are provided to validate our theoretical analysis and to illustrate the impact of NM and CEE on the performance measures of the considered system. 相似文献

We consider a general Euler-Korteweg-Poisson system in R 3, supplemented with the space periodic boundary conditions, where the quantum hydrodynamics equations and the classical fluid dynamics equations with capillarity are recovered as particular examples. We show that the system admits infinitely many global-in-time weak solutions for any sufficiently smooth initial data including the case of a vanishing initial density - the vacuum zones. Moreover, there is a vast family of initial data, for which the Cauchy problem possesses infinitely many dissipative weak solutions, i.e. the weak solutions satisfying the energy inequality. Finally, we establish the weak-strong uniqueness property in a class of solutions without vacuum. Madelung showed how the complex Schrödinger equation can be rewritten in terms of two real equations, one for the phase and one for the amplitude of the complex wave function, where both equations are not independent of each other, but coupled. Although these equations formally look like classical hydrodynamic equations, they contain all the information about the quantum system. Concerning the quantum mechanical uncertainties of position and momentum, however, this is not so obvious at first sight. We show how these uncertainties are related to the phase and amplitude of the wave function in position and momentum space and, particularly, that the contribution from the phase essentially depends on the position–momentum correlations. Both amplitude modulation and frequency modulation of Vortex-induced Vibration (VIV) are observed in a recent model test of a flexible cylinder under oscillatory flow, but its hydrodynamics has not yet been broached in detail. This paper employs the Forgetting Factor Least Squares (FF-LS) method for identification of time-varying hydrodynamics of a flexible cylinder under modulated VIV. The FF-LS method’s applicability to accurately identify time-varying hydrodynamic coefficients is demonstrated through an elastically mounted rigid cylinder under flow with a given modulated motion. Furthermore, we propose a framework to predict instantaneous amplitude (envelope) and frequency using time-varying hydrodynamic coefficients to establish their analytical relationship. This prediction method is further extended to a highly tensioned flexible cylinder through Fourier series expansion in the spatial domain. By performing the identification procedure for all sampled data of a flexible cylinder undergoing oscillatory flow, we obtain the corresponding time-varying hydrodynamics in the cross-flow direction considering the amplitude and frequency modulation. The results show that, under modulated VIV, hydrodynamic coefficients of the flexible cylinder also show time-varying characteristics. We further investigate differences between identified hydrodynamic coefficients and those obtained from the database of a cylinder with modulated motion under flow. Prediction results using these identified time-varying coefficients reveal that the time-varying excitation coefficients mainly influence the amplitude modulation, and the time-varying added-mass coefficients contain the major information of frequency modulation. These results further suggest including the temporal derivative of the instantaneous amplitude as one determining parameter in building databases to improve the prediction of modulated VIV. 相似文献

与传统网格法相比, 光滑粒子流体动力学方法不能直接施加壁面边界条件, 这就限制了该方法在工程中的应用.为此, 本文基于Galerkin加权余量法并结合传统排斥力方法, 推导出一种新的排斥力公式来施加壁面边界条件.该方法不含未知参数, 能在不减小边界粒子尺寸的情形下有效地防止流体粒子穿透壁面, 同时可避免邻近边界的流体粒子的速度及压力振荡. 分别通过静止液柱算例、液柱坍塌算例、容器中液体静止算例及溃坝算 例来验证本文方法的有效性, 并与传统边界处理方法进行对比, 结果表明: 本文方法克服了传统方法存在的缺陷, 是一种有效的固壁边界处理方法.

利用一维辐射流体力学程序MULTI数值模拟研究了功率为1014Wcm2、脉冲宽度为300ps、波长为0.44μm的强激光辐照平面Au靶时产生X射线的过程,给出了X射线转换效率和能谱分布.通过将靶物质划分为对所产生的X射线光学薄的转化区和光学厚的再发射区,得到了作为黑体辐射热源的最佳靶厚度,并给出了辐射加热靶所产生的等离子体的密度和温度的空间分布.

对传统的光滑粒子动力学方法进行了改进, 改进的光滑粒子动力学方法对传统粒子方法中的核近似式和粒子近似式进行了修正, 采用Riemann 算法求解光滑粒子动力学流体控制方程, 添加了表面张力的计算程序, 考虑了表面张力对液滴溅落的影响. 应用改进的光滑粒子动力学方法对液滴静止状态下冲击液面的飞溅过程进行了数值模拟. 计算结果表明, 改进的光滑粒子动力学方法能够有效地描述液滴溅落液面的动力学特性和自由表面变化特征, 能够得到稳定精度的结果. 相似文献

通过构造新的平衡分布函数和结合分区自适应网格加密方法,对不带扩散项的平衡辐射流体力学方程,构造二阶的分子动理学BGK-AMR格式.一方面在关心的计算区域中局部加密计算网格,提高计算精度的同时大大节省了计算网格数量和计算时间;另一方面,不同于已有的参数强耦合平衡分布函数,新构造的平衡分布函数中各参数不相互依赖,简化了辐射流体力学分子动理学格式的计算.一维和二维的数值算例显示了格式的性能. 相似文献
