Aerosol damage to a microchannel plate analysed by X‐ray photoelectron spectromicroscopy

Localised corrosion on a microchannel plate has been studied using X‐ray photoelectron spectromicroscopy. Curve fitting to the spectra at each pixel in the image data set reveals the presence of sodium and carbonate species at the corrosion sites, which optical microscopy suggests originated as droplets. It is proposed that aerosol contamination of the alkali enriched microchannel plate during removal of particulate material using a stream of compressed gas was responsible for the initiation of corrosion. 横观各向同性饱和地基上中厚圆板的非轴对称振动

研究横观各向同性饱和土地基上中厚弹性圆板的非轴对称振动问题。基于横观各向同性饱和介质Biot波动方程的一般解,按混合边值问题建立了饱和地基与弹性中厚圆板非轴对称动力相互作用的对偶积分方程,并将对偶积分方程转化为易于计算的第二类Fredholm积分方程;采用数值方法求解该积分方程。数值算例结果表明,当h/a>0.05时,饱和半空间体上中厚度圆板在不同频率下的振动特性与相应频率下的刚性板的振动特性基本相同,当h/a<0.05时,板中心的位移将随h/a的减小而增大。     

Axisymmetric free vibrations of infinite thermoelastic plate

The propagation of axisymmetric free vibrations in an infinite homogeneous isotropic micropolar thermoelastic plate without energy dissipation subjected to stress free and rigidly fixed boundary conditions is investigated. The secular equations for homogeneous isotropic micropolar thermoelastic plate without energy dissipation in closed form for symmetric and skew symmetric wave modes of propagation are derived. The different regions of secular equations are obtained. At short wavelength limits, the secular equations for symmetric and skew symmetric modes of wave propagation in a stress free insulated and isothermal plate reduce to Rayleigh surface wave frequency equation. The results for thermoelastic, micropolar elastic and elastic materials are obtained as particular cases from the derived secular equations. The amplitudes of displacement components, microrotation and temperature distribution are also computed during the symmetric and skew symmetric motion of the plate. The dispersion curves for symmetric and skew symmetric modes and amplitudes of displacement components, microrotation and temperature distribution in case of fundamental symmetric and skew symmetric modes are presented graphically. The analytical and numerical results are found to be in close agreement.     

NONLINEAR VIBRATION OF CIRCULAR SANDWICH PLATES UNDER CIRCUMJACENT LOAD

Based on von Karman plate theory, the issue about nonlinear vibration for circular sandwich plates under circumjacent load with the loosely clamped boundary condition was researched. Nonlinear differential eigenvalue equations and boundary conditions of the problem were formulated by variational method and then their exact static solution can be got. The solution was derived by modified iteration method, so the analytic relations between amplitude and nonlinear oscillating frequency for circular sandwich plates were obtained. When circumjacent load makes the lowest natural frequency zero, critical load is obtained.     

点支撑预应力中厚矩形板的弯曲

基于Reissner-Mindlin一阶剪切变形板理论，讨论在预加面内机械荷载或温度场作用下，点支撑中厚矩形板的弯曲问题。温度场假定沿板表面为均布，沿板厚方向为线性分布的。利用考虑剪切变形影响的Timoshenko梁函数，采用Rayleigh-Ritz法给出不同边界条件下点支撑中厚板在横向荷载作用下的挠度和弯矩分布。结果表明，均匀温度场与预加面内压力将使板的挠度和弯矩增加。支撑点位置的变化、边界约束条件和横向剪切变形效应都对板的内力大小和分布有显著影响。     

沿垂等温平板的自然对流问题的近似解析解

本文用加权残值得到了沿垂等温平板的自然对流问题的近似解析解。和已有准确解的比较表明，在平板表面附近，近似解有很好的精度，而且速度场的精度比温度场更好一些。文末还对配域法的准收敛问题作了说明。     

弹塑性板壳结构非线性有限元分析

本文根据塑性流动理论的基本公式，由隐式积分导出了与路径无关的变量更新算法和一致切线模量。采用单元广义应力应变直接离散塑性流动定律，构造了杂交应力单元一致切线刚度矩阵的显式表达式，编制了结构有限元程序ＳＡＦＥ，数值算例表明：本文的计算方法和计算程序是正确可靠的，可用于弹塑性板壳结构的非线性分析，计算结果屈曲临界载荷和极限承载能力。     

Vibrations of a Floating Elastic Plate Due to Periodic Displacements of a Bottom Segment

The problem of the behavior of a floating elastic thin plate under periodic vibrations of a bottom segment is solved using a numerical procedure based on the Wiener-Hopf technique. 中厚度圆浮板自由振动的一个解析解

本文提出了常水深环境下中厚度圆浮板自由振动的一个解析解.分析中考虑了板横向剪切变形的影响和横截面转动惯性效应,利用空气中中厚度圆板的振型叠加和势流理论,导得了浮板系统频率方程的解析式.由此可看出Y.Tanaka得到的圆形薄浮板的解是本文的特例.最后数值计算还给出了水深和钢缆刚度与频率的关系曲线.并指出了h/a在什么范围可以略去剪切变形和转动惯量的影响.
