In0.49Ga0.51P films, both undoped and doped n- and p-type (up to 1018 cm-3), were grown lattice matched on GaAs substrates, with different miscut angles, by Metal-Organic Vapour Phase Epitaxy (MOVPE)
at different temperatures. The shift of the fundamental gap E0, caused by “ordering effect” was measured as a function of temperature by photoluminescence. The complex refractive index

2 at room temperature were determined from 0.01 to 5.5 eV by using complementary data from fast-Fourier-transform far-infrared
(FFT-FIR), dispersive, and ellipsometric spectroscopies. The effect of the native oxide was accounted for and the self-consistency
of the optical functions was checked in the framework of the Kramers-Kronig causality relations. In the restrahlen region
the dielectric function was well fitted by classical Lorentz oscillators; in the transparent region below E0, the refractive index was modelled by a Sellmeier dispersion relation; in the interband region the dielectric function was
well reproduced by analytical lineshapes associated to seven critical points. Thus parametrized analytical expressions were
obtained for the optical functions all over the spectral range, without discontinuities, to be used in the modelling and characterization
of multi-layer structures, also on opaque substrates.

in the Mott-Smith approximation of the solution of the Boltzmann equation, we obtain a value of the density gradient in the limit of a very weak shock wave that is close to the correct value. For the determination of the transverse temperature gradient we calculated the

The effective values of viscosity and thermal conductivity in the limit of a very weak shock wave were calculated for inverse-power potentials and found to agree almost exactly with the Chapman-Enskog values. Such a comparison can serve as a criterion for the evaluation of different bimodal theories. We examine the connections between a novel class of multi-person stopping games with redistribution of payoffs and multi-dimensional reflected BSDEs in discrete- and continuous-time frameworks. Our goal is to provide an essential extension of classic results for two-player stopping games (Dynkin games) to the multi-player framework. We show the link between certain multi-period m-player stopping games and a new kind of m-dimensional reflected BSDEs. The existence and uniqueness of a solution to continuous-time reflected BSDEs are established. Continuous-time redistribution games are constructed with the help of reflected BSDEs and a characterization of the value of such stopping games is provided. 相似文献

The interaction of a planar shock wave with a loose dusty bulk layer has been investigated both experimentally and numerically.
Experiments were conducted in a shock tube. The incident shock wave velocity and particle diameters were measured with the
use of pressure transducers and a Malvern particle sizer, respectively. The flow fields, induced by shock waves, of both gas
and granular phase were visualized by means of shadowgraphs and pulsed X-ray radiography with trace particles added. In addition,
a two-phase model for granular flow presented by Gidaspow is introduced and is extended to describe such a complex phenomenon.
Based on the kinetic theory, such a two-phase model has the advantage of being able to clarify many physical concepts, like
particulate viscosity, granular conductivity and solid pressure, and deduce the correlative constitutive equations of the
solid phase. The AUSM scheme was employed for the numerical calculation. The flow field behind the shock wave was displayed
numerically and agrees well with our corresponding experimental results.

Based on dynamical theories of water waves and dynamics of Mindlin thick plates,the investigation of the wave-induced responses and the vibration reduction of an elastic floating plate are presented using the Wiener-Hopf technique.Without regard to the case of elastic connector,the calculated results obtained by the present method are in good agreement with those from the literature and the experiment.It can be shown that the present method is valid.Relations between the spring stiffness to be used to connect the sea bottom and the floating plate and the parameters of wave-induced responses of floating plates are investigated using the present method.Therefore, these results can be used as theoretical bases for the design stage of super floating platform systems. 相似文献

Shock testing is an important issue for the survivability of an equipment under shock environment in aerospace and military industries. One of the problems faced in conventional shock testing devices is the need for redesigning of the geometry whenever the responses to different shock environments are tested. To circumvent the redesigning processes, a structure with two ‘acoustic black holes (ABHs)’ on both ends, referred to as the beam with dual ABHs, is proposed as a shock testing device. The beam with dual ABHs is capable of simulating diverse shock environments by controlling the applied force because it can be regarded as an infinite beam at high frequency range with the aid of the anechoic terminations by the ABHs. To systematically investigate the beam with dual ABHs, we develop a wave-based method that uses the reflection matrix of an ABH to perform free and forced vibration analyses. From the analyses on frequency response function and shock response spectrum of the beam with dual ABH, it is suggested that the beam with dual ABHs is feasible as a semi-permanent shock testing device. 相似文献
