基于OpenCV的嵌入式自动捡乒乓球系统设计

为了解决在乒乓球比赛和训练中人工手动捡球的问题,从机器视觉的角度出发,综合嵌入式、图像处理和测量控制等技术,基于第三方库OpenCV设计了一种自动捡乒乓球系统。系统是以Contex-A8平台为控制核心,首先通过对云台和USB摄像头的控制获取视频信号;然后通过霍夫圆变换和SVM分类器算法识别出视频中的乒乓球,并根据质心计算出其与系统的相对位置;最后将视频信号中抽象出的位置信息传递给机械运动控制终端,控制小车和机械手将乒乓球捡起,并送到指定位置。实验结果表明本系统能够正确的检测和识别乒乓球,并对其进行定位捡取,效果良好,提高了拾取乒乓球的效率,减轻工作人员的负担。     

Steric effects on alkyl cation affinities of maingroup-element hydrides

We have carried out an extensive exploration of gas‐phase alkyl cation affinities (ACA) of archetypal anionic and neutral bases across the periodic system using zeroth order regular approximation‐relativistic density functional theory at BP86/QZ4P//BP86/TZ2P. ACA values were computed for the methyl, ethyl, i‐propyl and t‐butyl cations and compared with the corresponding proton affinities (PA). One purpose of this work is to provide an intrinsically consistent set of values of the 298 K ACA of all anionic (XH) and neutral bases (XH_n) constituted by maingroup‐element hydrides of groups 14–17 and the noble gases (group 18) along the periods 1–6. Another purpose is to determine and rationalize the trend in affinity for a cation as the latter varies from proton to t‐butyl cation. This undertaking is supported by quantitative bond energy decomposition analyses. Correlations are established between PA and ACA values. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J Comput Chem, 2011     

Properties of graphical regression models for multidimensional categorical data

We propose a two-component graphical chain model, the discrete regression distribution, where a set of discrete random variables is modeled as a response to a set of categorical and continuous covariates. The proposed model is useful for modeling a set of discrete variables measured at multiple sites along with a set of continuous and/or discrete covariates. The proposed model allows for joint examination of the dependence structure of the discrete response and observed covariates and also accommodates site-to-site variability. We develop the graphical model properties and theoretical justifications of this model. Our model has several advantages over the traditional logistic normal model used to analyze similar compositional data, including site-specific random effect terms and the incorporation of discrete and continuous covariates.

2×2列联表中二属性相关的假设检验是定性数据分析中的热点问题,针对此问题的研究频率学派已做过大量的工作,其理论方法已趋于成熟.利用Bayes检验研究2×2列联表中二属性的相关性迄今为止国内外的相关文献还为数不多.将依据Bayes理论对此问题提出新的检验方法,推出其Bayes因子计算公式,利用正态近似研究三项假设计算出有关的后验概率,不仅解决了频率学派难以处理的问题,并且为吸烟有害健康提供了理论支撑.     

Detection of the support damage of spatial steel structures under earthquakes based on shaking table test

There are always some local damages in spatial steel structures induced by strong earthquakes, such as welding cracks of steel nodes, anchor loose of supports etc. If these local damages of spatial steel structures occur, there will be serious dangers to the structural safety. In order to detect the position of local damage under earthquake quickly and accurately, the method of support damage diagnosis of spatial steel structures under earthquakes is studied by using wavelet packet decomposition, data fusion and cluster analysis. Furthermore, a scale model of spatial steel structure was tested on a seismic simulation shaking table to detect the position of damaged support. Results show that the damaged support position can be detected accurately by using the method proposed in this paper, which has practical applications to the damage detection of spatial steel structures.     

Higher order log-concavity in Euler’s difference table

For 0≤k≤n, let be the entries in Euler’s difference table and let . Dumont and Randrianarivony showed equals the number of permutations on [n] whose fixed points are contained in {1,2,…,k}. Rakotondrajao found a combinatorial interpretation of the number in terms of k-fixed-points-permutations of [n]. We show that for any n≥1, the sequence is essentially 2-log-concave and reverse ultra log-concave.     

The Applicability of Essential Oils in Different Stages of Production of Animal-Based Foods

Essential oils (EOs) have been used for centuries, and interest in these compounds has been revived in recent years. Due to their unique chemical composition as well as antimicrobial, immunostimulatory, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, EOs are used in pharmacology, cosmetology and, increasingly, in animal breeding and rearing, and processing of animal raw materials. Essential oils have become a natural alternative to preservatives, taste enhancers and, most importantly, antibiotics, because the European Union banned the use of antibiotics in metaphylaxis in animal husbandry in 2006. In the animal production chain, EOs are used mainly as feed additives to improve feed palatability and increase feed intake, improve animal resistance and health status, and to prevent and treat diseases. Recent research indicates that EOs can also be applied to sanitize poultry houses, and they can be used as biopesticides in organic farming. Essential oils effectively preserve meat and milk and, consequently, improve the safety, hygiene and quality of animal-based foods. Novel technologies such as encapsulation may increase the bioavailability of EOs and their application in the production of food and feed additives.
