The generation of free radicals is a key process in the formation and the collapse of the bubbles in water, however, the direct and dynamic observation of the radicals in this process at single bubbles has never been achieved. Here, the hydroxyl (OH.) and oxygen (O2.−) radicals at single oxygen bubbles are continuously traced using chemiluminescence (CL), in which these radicals at the bubble react with the surrounding luminol in the solution emitting the light. Varied increase trends of luminescence are observed in the generation of a bubble, floating, short parking at the water/air interface and the final explosion, revealing the complexity in the distribution of radicals at the bubble unprecedentedly. Despite more radicals are observed at the bubble generated at a deep position under the water for the stabilization, almost the same amount of radicals are included in the bubbles that is independent on the water pressure during the production of the bubble. This rich information collected from the dynamic study of bubbles illustrates the complicated generation and distribution process of radicals at the bubbles, and will facilitate the understanding of the function about the bubbles.  相似文献

The analysis of endogenous glycoproteins and glycopeptides in human body fluids is of great importance for screening and discovering disease biomarkers with clinical significance. However, the presence of interfering substances makes the direct quantitative detection of low-abundance glycoproteins and glycopeptides in human body fluids one of the great challenges in analytical chemistry. Magnetic solid phase extraction (MSPE) has the advantages of easy preparation, low cost and good magnetic responsiveness. Magnetic adsorbents are the core of MSPE technology, and magnetic adsorbents based on different functional materials are widely used in the quantitative analysis of glycoproteins and glycopeptides in human body fluids, making it possible to analyze glycoproteins and glycopeptides with low abundance as well as multiple types, which provides a technical platform for screening and evaluating glycoproteins and glycopeptides in body fluids as disease biomarkers. In this paper, we focus on the recent advances in the application of MSPE technology and magnetic adsorbents for the separation and enrichment of glycoproteins and glycopeptides in human body fluids, and the future trends and application prospects in this field are also presented.  相似文献

A self-synthesized bi-pyridine chelating resin (PAPY) could separate Cu(II)/Ni(II)/Fe(II) sequentially from strong-acidic pickling wastewater by a two-stage pH-adjusted process, in which Cu(II), Ni(II), and Fe(II) were successively preferred by PAPY. In the first stage (pH 1.0), the separation factor of Cu(II) over Ni(II) reached 61.43 in Cu(II)-Ni(II)-Fe(II) systems. In the second stage (pH 2.0), the separation factor of Ni(II) over Fe(II) reached 92.82 in Ni(II)-Fe(II) systems. Emphasis was placed on the selective separation of Cu(II) and Ni(II) in the first-stage. The adsorption amounts of Cu(II) onto PAPY were 1.2 mmol/g in the first stage, while those of Ni(II) and Fe(II) were lower than 0.3 mmol/g. Cu(II) adsorption was hardly affected by Ni(II) with the presence of dense Fe(II), but Cu(II) inhibited Ni(II) adsorption strongly. Part of preloaded Ni(II) could be replaced by Cu(II) based on the replacement effect. Compared with the absence of Fe(II), dense Fe(II) could obviously enhance the separation of Cu(II)-Ni(II). More than 95.0% of Cu(II) could be removed in the former 240 BV (BV for bed volume of the adsorbent) in the fixed-bed adsorption column process with the flow rate of 2.5 BV/h. As proved by X-ray photoelectron spectrometry (XPS) and density functional theory (DFT) analyses, Cu(II) exerted a much stronger deprotonation and chelation ability toward PAPY than Ni(II) and Fe(II). Thus, the work shows a great potential in the separation and purification of heavy metal resources from strong-acidic pickling wastewaters.  相似文献

为了揭示刚性界面附近气泡空化参数与微射流的相互关系, 从两气泡控制方程出发, 利用镜像原理, 建立了考虑刚性壁面作用的空化泡动力学模型. 数值对比了刚性界面与自由界面下气泡的运动特性, 并分析了气泡初始半径、气泡到固壁面的距离、声压幅值和超声频率对气泡溃灭的影响. 在此基础上, 建立了气泡溃灭速度和微射流的相互关系. 结果表明: 刚性界面对气泡振动主要起到抑制作用; 气泡溃灭的剧烈程度随气泡初始半径和超声频率的增加而降低, 随着气泡到固壁面距离的增加而增加; 声压幅值存在最优值, 固壁面附近的气泡在该最优值下气泡溃灭最为剧烈; 通过研究气泡溃灭速度和微射流的关系发现, 调节气泡溃灭速度可以达到间接控制微射流的目的.  相似文献

A planar, transparent, and adaptable nanosieve device is developed for efficient microalgae/bacteria separation. In the proposed method, a sacrificial layer is applied with dual photolithography patterning to achieve a 1D channel with a very low aspect ratio (1:10 000). A microalgae/bacteria mixture is then introduced into the deformable PDMS nanochannel. The hydrodynamic deformation of the nanochannel is regulated to allow the bacteria cells to pass through while leaving the microalgae cells trapped in the device. At a flow rate of 4 μL/min, the supernatant collected from the device is indistinguishable from a control solution, indicating that nearly all the microalgae cells are trapped in the device. Additionally, this device is capable of single cell auto-fluorescence tracking. These microalgae cells demonstrate minimal photobleaching over 250 s laser exposure and could be used to monitor hazardous compounds in the sample with a continuous flow. This method will be valuable to purify microalgae samples containing contaminations and study single-cell heterogeneity.  相似文献

To improve the accuracy and efficiency of ships’ ballast water detection, the separation of microalgae according to size is significant. In this article, a method to separate microalgae based on inertia-enhanced pinched flow fractionation (iPFF) was reported. The method utilized the inertial lift force induced by flow to separate microalgae according to size continuously. The experimental results show that, as the Reynolds number increases, the separation effect becomes better at first, but then stays unchanged. The best separation effect can be obtained when the Reynolds number is 12.3. In addition, with the increase of the flow rate ratio between sheath fluid and microalgae mixture, the separation effect becomes better and the best separation effect can be obtained when the flow rate ratio reaches 10. In this case, the recovery rate of Tetraselmis sp. is about 90%, and the purity is about 86%; the recovery rate of Chlorella sp. is as high as 99%, and the purity is about 99%. After that, the separation effect keeps getting better but very slowly. In general, this study provides a simple method for the separation of microalgae with different sizes, and lays a foundation for the accurate detection of microalgae in the ballast water.  相似文献

Early detection of pathogenic microorganisms is pivotal to diagnosis and prevention of health and safety crises. Standard methods for pathogen detection often rely on lengthy culturing procedures, confirmed by biochemical assays, leading to >24 h for a diagnosis. The main challenge for pathogen detection is their low concentration within complex matrices. Detection of blood-borne pathogens via techniques such as PCR requires an initial positive blood culture and removal of inhibitory blood components, reducing its potential as a diagnostic tool. Among different label-free microfluidic techniques, inertial focusing on microscale channels holds great promise for automation, parallelization, and passive continuous separation of particles and cells. This work presents inertial microfluidic manipulation of small particles and cells (1–10 μm) in curved serpentine glass channels etched at different depths (deep and shallow designs) that can be exploited for (1) bacteria preconcentration from biological samples and (2) bacteria-blood cell separation. In our shallow device, the ability to focus Escherichia coli into the channel side streams with high recovery (89% at 2.2× preconcentration factor) could be applied for bacteria preconcentration in urine for diagnosis of urinary tract infections. Relying on differential equilibrium positions of red blood cells and E. coli inside the deep device, 97% red blood cells were depleted from 1:50 diluted blood with 54% E. coli recovered at a throughput of 0.7 mL/min. Parallelization of such devices could process relevant volumes of 7 mL whole blood in 10 min, allowing faster sample preparation for downstream molecular diagnostics of bacteria present in bloodstream.  相似文献

采用巨正则系综蒙特卡罗(GCMC)方法研究了空气中微量苯组分在单臂碳纳米管(SWNTs)上的吸附净化.模拟表明,具有较大孔径的(20,20)纳米管比较适合吸附纯苯蒸汽,而对于移除空气中的毒性苯物质,苯的吸附选择性分别在(12,12)纳米管及4.0 MPa时和(18,18)纳米管及0.1 MPa时出现最小值和最大值.为了解释这一异常行为,我们进一步分析了N2-O2-C6H6混合物的局部密度分布、吸附分子构型和概率密度分布,发现(18,18)纳米管内外完全被苯分子占据,而对于(12,12)纳米管,由于存在更强的吸附质-吸附剂相互作用,空气分子更倾向于吸附在管与管之间的间隙.此外,吸附分子的空间有序参数表明大多数苯分子采取"平躺"在纳米管表面的定位,而线性的N2和O2分子则多数平行于孔轴方向.最后研究了温度和苯分子主体相浓度对分离效果的影响.我们发现较大孔中的选择性随着温度的增加比小孔下降更加明显.与此对比,主体相苯浓度对小孔中的选择性起到更加重要的作用.  相似文献

Aminoglycosides are a relevant class of antibiotics widely used by medics and veterinaries. There are a variety of reasons that make their determination relevant, such as quality control, environment and food contamination assessment, drug-release studies, among others. The lack of a chromophore makes aminoglycoside spectrophotometric detection particularly challenging, often requiring derivatization. In this work, an indirect detection method, making use of imidazole as a probe, applying CZE was successfully tested. It did not require derivatization, which simplified the sample preparation. Suitable figures of merit were obtained; recoveries between 95 and 105%, adequate repeatability and precision, correlation coefficients (r) above 0.998, and limits of detection (LODs) of 3.2 and 11 mg/L for gentamicin and paromomycin, respectively. As a proof-of-concept, it was also applied in a simple controlled release experiment that was well fitted using the Hill equation.  相似文献

综述了近几年金属有机骨架(MOF)薄膜在小分子和离子高效分离应用中的研究进展.MOF膜材料因具有结晶度良好、结构可设计、孔径可调和可功能化等特点,在分离领域展现出极大的潜在应用价值而受到广泛关注.鉴于近年来MOF膜材料在分离领域取得的巨大进展,对这一领域的前沿进展进行及时系统的总结,并对未来的发展趋势进行展望,具有重要的学术价值,也为科研工作者对MOF膜材料的研究提供了参考.本文首先总结了MOF膜的4种制备方法,包括LBL自组装法(液相外延和Langmuir-Blodgett沉积)、真空制备法(化学气相沉积和原子层沉积)、电化学沉积法和粉末沉积法;而后,详述了MOF膜在气体分离、液体分离及离子/质子传导等方面的应用;最后,总结了MOF膜材料领域当前存在的挑战及潜在解决途径,并对该领域的未来发展方向进行了展望.  相似文献
