It was conjectured by Mkrtchyan, Petrosyan and Vardanyan that every graph G with Δ(G)?δ(G)1 has a maximum matching M such that any two M-unsaturated vertices do not share a neighbor. The results obtained in Mkrtchyan et al. (2010), Petrosyan (2014) and Picouleau (2010) leave the conjecture unknown only for k-regular graphs with 4k6. All counterexamples for k-regular graphs (k7) given in Petrosyan (2014) have multiple edges. In this paper, we confirm the conjecture for all k-regular simple graphs and also k-regular multigraphs with k4.  相似文献

This article gives dual representations for convex integral functionals on the linear space of regular processes. This space turns out to be a Banach space containing many more familiar classes of stochastic processes and its dual can be identified with the space of optional random measures with essentially bounded variation. Combined with classical Banach space techniques, our results allow for a systematic treatment of stochastic optimization problems over BV processes and, in particular, yields a maximum principle for a general class of singular stochastic control problems.  相似文献

In the present paper we develop our approach for studying the stability of integer programming problems. We prove that the L-class enumeration method is stable on integer linear programming problems in the case of bounded relaxation sets [9]. In this paper, we show existence, uniqueness and exact asymptotic behavior of solutions near the boundary to a class of semilinear elliptic equations −Δu=λg(u)−b(x)f(u) in Ω, where λ is a real number, b(x)>0 in Ω and vanishes on ∂Ω. The special feature is to consider g(u) and f(u) to be regularly varying at infinity and b(x) is vanishing on the boundary with a more general rate function. The vanishing rate of b(x) determines the exact blow-up rate of the large solutions. And the exact blow-up rate allows us to obtain the uniqueness result.  相似文献

Part (ii) implies Ore's Theorem, a well-known theorem giving sufficient conditions for the existence of a hamilton cycle in a graph. As an application of part (i), it is shown that if M is a k-connected regular matroid and has cocircumference c*2k, then there is a circuit which intersects each cocircuit of size c*k+2 or greater.We also extend a theorem of Dirac for graphs by showing that for any k-connected binary matroid M having no -minor, it holds that for any k cocircuits of M there is a circuit which intersects them.  相似文献

The micellization behavior of an anionic gemini surfactant, GA with nonionic surfactants C12E8 and C12E5 in presence of 0.1 M NaCl at 298 K temperature, has been studied tensiometrically in pure and mixed states, and the related physicochemical parameters (cmc, γ cmc, pC 20, Γ max, and A min) have been evaluated. Tensiometric profile (γ vs log [surfactant]), for conventional surfactants, generally consists of a single point of intersection; a gradually decreasing line (normally linear, or with slight curvature) ultimately saturates in γ at a particular [surfactant], corresponding to complete monolayer saturation. The gemini, in this report, led to two unequivocal breaks in the tensiometric isotherm. An attempt to the interpretation of the two breaks from molecular point of view is provided, depending solely on the chemical structure of the surfactant. The gemini, even in mixed state with the conventional nonionic surfactants C12E5 and C12E8, manifested the dual breaks; of course, the dominance of the feature decreases with increasing mole fraction of the nonionics in the mixture. Theories of Clint, Rosen, Rubingh, Motomura, Georgiev, Maeda, and Nagarajan have been used to determine the interaction between surfactants at the interface and micellar state of aggregation, the composition of the aggregates, the theoretical cmc in pure and mixed states, and the structural parameters according to Tanford and Israelachvili. Several thermodynamic parameters have also been predicted from those theories.  相似文献
