Sm-substituted barium hexaferrites, Ba3−xSmxCo2Fe24O41 (x=0-0.25), were prepared by a conventional ceramic sintering method. The microstructure, complex permittivity, complex permeability and static magnetic properties of the samples were studied using powder X-ray diffraction, field emission scanning electron microscopy, vector network analyzer and vibrating sample magnetometry. The results reveal that by introducing a relatively small amount of Sm3+ instead of Ba2+ an important modification of both structure and high-frequency electromagnetic properties can be obtained. Doping of Sm3+ suppressed the grain growth and gave rise to a decrease of the grain size. As the Sm content increases, the static magnetic properties continuously increase. The real part and imaginary part of complex permittivity initially increase with Sm content, and then decreases when x>0.10. The imaginary part of complex permeability decreases after Sm3+ is doped. There is no obvious change in the real part of the complex permeability for different Sm contents. The reasons are discussed using electromagnetic theory. 相似文献

The effects of annealing prior to cold rolling on the microstructure, magnetic and mechanical properties of low-C grain non-oriented (GNO) electrical steels have been investigated. The grain structure of hot-rolled electrical steel strips is modified by annealing at temperatures between 700 and 1050 °C. Annealing at temperatures less than the ferrite to austenite+ferrite transformation temperature on heating (Ac1) causes a marginal effect on the grain size. However, annealing in the intercritical region at temperatures between Ac1 and Ac3 (the ferrite+austenite to austenite transformation temperature on heating) causes rapid decarburization and development of large columnar ferrite grains free of carbide particles. This microstructure leads, after cold rolling and a fast annealing treatment, to carbide free, large ferrite grain microstructures with magnetic and mechanical properties superior to those observed typically in the same steel in the industrially fully processed condition. These results are attributed to the increment in grain size and to the {1 0 0} fiber texture developed during the final annealing at temperatures up to 850 °C. Annealing at higher temperatures, T>Ac3, results in a strong {1 1 1} fiber texture and an increase of the quantity of second phase particles present in the microstructure, which lead to a negative effect on the final properties. The results suggest that annealing prior to cold rolling offers an attractive alternative processing route for the manufacture of fully processed low C GNO electrical steels strips. 相似文献

The present work is to the syntheses and characterization of random, low vinyl copolymers containing styrene and isoprene (SIR’s). The content of these SIR’s ranged from 10% styrene/90% isoprene to 60% styrene/40% isoprene, and all were soluble in hexane solvent. The anionic polymerization of these SIR’s was initiated by a catalyst system of various sodium dodecylbenzene sulfonate (SDBS) to n-butyllithium (n-BuLi) ratios. The SDBS allowed for styrene to become randomly incorporated onto the polyisoprene chain without any increase in the 3,4-unit of the isoprene. The glass transition temperature of the resulting polymers could be controlled by the styrene content and microstructure (blocky versus random) in the polymer chain. Kinetic data confirmed that styrene and isoprene have similar reaction kinetics. NMR and ozonolysis confirmed that random, low vinyl SIR’s were indeed being synthesized. The unique features of this system are that it does not metallate the polymers as was seen in the previous publication using the sodium and potassium alkoxides. Molecular weight differences due to SDBS are discussed. Finally, rubber process analyzer (RPA) results were presented for various styrenes content SIR’s. 相似文献

The objective of this study was to evaluate the effects of single ultrasound (360 W, 20 min), single microwave (10 W/g, 120 s) and ultrasonic–microwave combination treatment on shrimp surimi gel properties. The structure and physicochemical properties of myofibrillar protein (MP) were also determined. Low-field nuclear magnetic resonance showed that the fluidity of water molecules and the moisture content decreased, the stability and water holding capacity (WHC) increased after single ultrasound, single microwave and ultrasonic–microwave combination treatment. Compared with the traditional water bath treatment, ultrasound and microwave treatment reduced the total sulfhydryl content and promoted the formation of intermolecular disulfide bonds and hydrophobic interactions, which improved the compactness of the network structure of shrimp surimi gel. Moreover, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and sodium dodecyl sulfate–polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis analysis revealed that these treatments not only inhibited the degradation of MP, but also decreased the α-helix content and increased the β-sheet content. The three treatments also significantly reduced the particle size and decreased the solubility of MP. Overall, the effect of ultrasonic–microwave combination treatment was superior to that of either single treatment. 相似文献

A series of Zr-Si-N composite films with different Si contents were synthesized in an Ar and N2 mixture atmosphere by the bi-target reactive magnetron sputtering method. These films’ composition, microstructure and mechanical properties were characterized by energy dispersive spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, atomic force microscopy and nanoindentation. Experimental results revealed that after the addition of silicon, Si3N4 interfacial phase formed on the surface of ZrN grains and prevented them from growing up. Zr-Si-N composite films were strengthened at low Si content with the hardness and elastic modulus reaching their maximum values of 29.8 and 352 GPa at 6.2 at% Si, respectively. With a further increase of Si content, the crystalline Zr-Si-N films gradually transformed into amorphous, accompanied with a remarkable fall of films’ mechanical properties. This limited enhancement of mechanical properties in the Zr-Si-N films may be due to the low wettability of Si3N4 on the surface of ZrN grains. 相似文献
