Self-mixing sensing technique can be used for measuring distances, displacements, velocities and vibration. In this paper, for good sensitivity vibration measurement system, self-mixing vibrator using an all-fiberized configuration Er3+-Yb3+ Distributed Bragg Reflector (EYDBR) laser is proposed and investigated for the first time. Results obtained demonstrate that all-fiberized configuration EYDBR laser present a powerful tool for the advancement of self-mixing vibration sensor and provide a potential remote measurement of the vibration compared with the optical feedback in other traditional fiber lasers.  相似文献

 提出了一种新的基于旋滤波法的干涉条纹预处理方法。该方法根据条纹图灰度值梯度分布规律,只在干涉条纹切线方向进行中值滤波,它能有效地处理各种相干噪声而不会使条纹变模糊。实验证明该方法能有效地去除随机噪声、椒盐噪声以及由于光照不均匀引起的较大面积的亮斑或暗斑等噪声。对于亮斑或暗斑,其滤波效果要明显优于Gerchberg外插迭代算法。以WYKO相移干涉仪5次测量的面形平均值作为被测面形的参考值,则经过预处理后,抑制了噪声引起的局部误差,傅里叶变换法计算得到PV值的误差从未预处理的14.4%(全口径)、131%(95%口径)分别减小到3.4%(全口径)、1.5%(95%口径);RMS误差从28.7%(全口径)、23.3%(95%口径)分别减小到5.0%(全口径)、2.3%(95%口径)。  相似文献

A simple and cost effective method for making holographic optics-based interferometer, which is suitable for performing optical test studies on phase (transparent) objects in real-time, has been described. The optical arrangement in the proposed method involves a very simple alignment procedure and inexpensive holographic recording material is used in the formation of holographic optical elements. Recording schemes for the formation of holographic optical elements and the related techniques for the realisation of the proposed interferometer along with typical experimental results have been presented.  相似文献

A laser Doppler velocimeter (LDV) for two-dimensional velocity measurement using a simple optical configuration without any optical modulator is proposed. The structure using polarized beams and the 90° phase shift of the reference beam is used to discriminate the direction of velocity. The analytical relation among beat frequencies and velocity components is derived and the characteristics of the proposed LDV are simulated. The simulation results indicate that the direction of velocity can be discriminated by the proposed LDV as well as the magnitudes of the components of the velocity.  相似文献

A combined experimental and numerical study was carried out to investigate thermal ignition by millimeter size (d=6 mm) moving hot spheres in H2-O2-N2 environments over a range of equivalence ratios. The mixtures investigated were diluted with N2 to keep their laminar flame speed constant and comparable to the sphere fall velocity (2.4 m/s) at time of contact with the reactive mixture. The ignition thresholds (and confidence intervals) were found by applying a logistic regression to the data and were observed to increase from lean (Φ=0.39; Tsphere = 963 K) to rich (Φ=1.35; Tsphere = 1007 K) conditions. Experimental temperature fields of the gas surrounding the hot sphere during an ignition event were, for the first time, extracted using interferometry and compared against simulated fields. Numerical predictions of the ignition thresholds were within 2% of the experimental values and captured the experimentally observed increasing trend between lean and rich conditions. The effect of stoichiometry and dilution on the observed variation in ignition threshold was explained using 0-D constant pressure delay time computations.  相似文献

A video speckle shearing interferometer has been used to study sinusoidally vibrating objects. Theroretical and experimental results show that the shear fringe patterns obtained contour the derivatives of the vibration amplitudes only for pure classical modes and when the shear is small. For composite modes, the fringe patterns observed are more difficult to interpret because the optical phase changes that are contoured are functions of both the spatial derivatives of the vibration amplitude and of the vibration phase.Presented at 1996 International Workshop on Interferometry (IWI ‧96), August 27–29, Saitama, Japan.  相似文献

Dynamic fracture behavior of syntactic foams made of thin-walled microballoons dispersed in epoxy matrix is studied. Monotonically decreasing dynamic Young's modulus with increasing volume fraction of microballoons is observed using ultrasonic pulse-echo and density measurements. The results are also in good agreement with the Hashin–Shtrikman lower-bound predictions for elastic porous solids. Dynamic crack initiation toughness and crack growth behaviors are examined using instrumented drop-tower tests and optical measurements. Crack initiation toughness shows a linear relationship with Young's modulus over the entire range of volume fraction of microballoons studied. A proposed model based on simple extension of micromechanics prediction agrees well with the measurements. The optical method of coherent gradient sensing (CGS) has been used along with high-speed photography to record crack tip deformation histories in syntactic foam samples subjected to impact loading. Pre- and post-crack initiation events have been successfully captured and apparent dynamic stress intensity factor histories are extracted from the interferograms. Results suggest increasing crack speeds with volume fraction of microballoons. No significant dependence of dynamic fracture toughness on crack speed in any of the volume fractions is observed.  相似文献

Recent industrial demands for greater product quality in the fields of microelements and micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS) generate new challenges for metrology. The fast-growing MEMS industry requires a robust non-destructive quantitative measurement system for the characterization of their performance, reliability and integrity. A microscopic TV holographic system using a long working distance microscope with an extended zoom range has been developed for microelements and MEMS deformation and 3-D surface profile analysis. The system is capable of evaluating both rough and smooth surfaces. Noisy wrapped phase map is a usual problem in speckle interferometry. We have compared several phase-shifting algorithms for evaluation of speckle phase for their usefulness in generating less-noisy phase maps. The experimental results on a MEMS pressure sensor for out-of-plane deflection and 3-D surface profile analysis are presented.  相似文献

In this paper methods to simulate the signals in laser interferometers are proposed. The central part deals with the computation of the photocurrent, subsequent phase demodulation and finally the generation of interferometer signals, such as the longitudinal phase readout, differential wavefront sensing signal, differential power sensing and contrast. Here, fundamental Gaussian beams without astigmatism are assumed. The methods are validated in several examples by comparison with experimental data, with analytical results as well as with an intuitively predictable system.  相似文献

In this research we implemented a two windows interferometer based on polarization phase shifting and grating interferometry techniques in order to retrieve the phase data profile of the object in a single capture. The optical configuration has two optical beams with circular polarization in opposite directions, and it is coupled with a 4-f system. An amplitude grid is used as a filter which is placed at the Fourier plane to obtain replicas of each beam which can properly interfere, depending on the separation between beams. The interferometer presents the capability of changing the beam separation in order to make different orders interfere properly. The interference patterns produced can be separately modulated through the operation of linear polarizer's placed on each interference replica. In order to present the capabilities of the system we will select four interferograms result of contiguous orders interference.  相似文献
