Lower bounds for the earliness–tardiness scheduling problem on parallel machines with distinct due dates

This paper addresses the parallel machine scheduling problem in which the jobs have distinct due dates with earliness and tardiness costs. New lower bounds are proposed for the problem, they can be classed into two families. First, two assignment-based lower bounds for the one-machine problem are generalized for the parallel machine case. Second, a time-indexed formulation of the problem is investigated in order to derive efficient lower bounds throught column generation or Lagrangean relaxation. A simple local search algorithm is also presented in order to derive an upper bound. Computational experiments compare these bounds for both the one machine and parallel machine problems and show that the gap between upper and lower bounds is about 1.5%.     

移动IP中主动服务发现技术的实现

针对在传统移动IP中用户只能被动使用已知的网络服务问题，提出了支持主动式网络服务发现的移动IP方案．本方案在传统移动IP基础上，引入基于客户/服务模型的主动服务发现机制，并制定具体的通信过程及各种消息的格式，实现了对瘦客户的支持．同时针对带宽紧张问题，设计了优化过滤机，实行结果过滤，避免了不必要的结果的发送，提高了带宽利用率．模拟实验表明了该系统较好地支持了移动IP中主动服务发现，具有较好的实用性和应用价值。     

Study of hot electrons generated from intense laser-plasma interaction employing Image Plate

Image Plate (IP) is convenient to be used and very suitable for radiation detection because of its advantages such as wide dynamic range, high detective quantum efficiency, ultrahigh sensitivity and superior linearity. The function mechanism and characteristics of IP are introduced in this paper. IP was employed in the study of hot electrons generated from intense laser-plasma interaction. The angular distribution and energy spectrum of hot electrons were measured with IP in the experiments. The results demonstrate that IP is an effective radiation detector for the study of laser-plasma interaction. Fast Restoration Based on Alternative Wavelength Paths in a Wide Area Optical IP Network

In this article we describe an experimental investigation of IP network restoration based on wavelength recovery. We propose a procedure for metro and wide area gigabit Ethernet networks that allows us to route the wavelength in case of link failure to another existing link by exploiting wavelength division multiplexing in the fiber. Such a procedure is obtained by means of an optical switch that is managed by a loss-of-light signal that is generated by a router in case of link failure. Such a method has been tested in an IP network consisting of three core routers with optical gigabit Ethernet interfaces connected by means of 50-km-long single-mode fibers between Rome and Pomezia. Compared with other conventional restoration techniques, such as OSPF and MPLS, our method -in very fast (20 ms) and is compatible with real-time TV services and low-cost chips.

IP/WDM网络的集成服务质量(QoS)控制方法

对IP/WDM网络的集成服务质量（QoS）控制技术问题做了研究, 给出了基于通用多协议标记交换（GMPLS）技术的业务差分处理模型, 设计了新的业务分类、光路分类以及层间映射/疏导/重构策略, 给出了具体的映射技术方案. 本方法具有三大特点：1）光电集成的差分服务模型; 2）多粒度多优先级业务的自适应资源管理机制; 3）支持电信级应用. 该模型较好地折中了多种类型业务的QoS控制复杂性和有效性, 具有较强的实用性和可扩展性, 能够解决光因特网络中支持多媒体业务传送的QoS问题.

This paper reports on the fourth version of the Mixed Integer Programming Library. Since MIPLIB is to provide a concise set of challenging problems, it became necessary to purge instances that became too easy. We present an overview of the 27 new problems and statistical data for all 60 instances.     

信息保存方法在微尺度变温流场中的应用研究

在信息保存法(IP)方法的基础上，提出了一个简单易行的温度模型，该模型可以有效模拟计算有温度变化的流动.此外研究发现，在用IP方法模拟计算的流场局部密度变化很大时，如果采用质量守恒方程的二阶中心差分格式更新信息密度时会使计算发散，因此建议采用一阶迎风格式更新信息密度. 关键词： IP方法 低速流动 微尺度 变温流动     

Development of an ion-pair HPLC method for investigation of energy charge changes in cerebral ischemia of mice and hypoxia of Neuro-2a cell line

The determination of adenine nucleotides and energy charge (EC) has great importance in the characterization of cerebral ischemic injury and post-ischemic recovery. An IP-HPLC method was developed for the quantification of AMP, ADP, ATP and EC in cerebral ischemia and hypoxia of the Neuro-2a cell line. The chromatographic conditions were: a Zorbax SB-C18 reversed-phase column; mobile phase 100 mM KH(2)PO(4), 1 mM tetrabutylammonium hydroxide, and 2.5% acetonitrile, brought to pH 7.0 with potassium hydroxide (4 M), filtered through a 0.45 microm Millipore filter and degassed prior to use. The flow-rate was 1.0 mL/min. The injection volume was 20 microL. Detection was performed at a wavelength of 254 nm under a constant temperature (27 +/- 1 degrees C). The method was validated by means of linearity, using calibration curves constructed with five concentration levels of each compound. The limit of detection was also determined. The system precision was calculated as the coefficient of variation for five injections for each compound tested. Cerebral tissue was homogenized (4 degrees C) in 1 mL of an ice-cold 6% trichloroacetic acid that contained ATPase inhibitor and obtained good recovery (>90%). The results show that the described method for the determination of adenine nucleotides by HPLC has good linearity, limit of detection, precision and specificity, and is simple and rapid to perform.     

基于LPC2210微处理器嵌入式网络通信系统终端设计与实现

伴随信息通讯技术、网络技术、电子技术的飞速发展,嵌入式系统终端也开始受到关注,寻求具有网络通讯的功能;文章所研究的嵌入式系统的网络通信采用ARM作为嵌入式开发平台,系统采用SmartARM2200开发板,使用支持仿真和嵌入式跟踪的LPC2210微处理器;结合网络通信系统,最终选择具有TCP/IP协议的嵌入式uCLinux操作系统,构建系统文件,完成嵌入式TCP/IP设计;并利用socket函数实现数据的接受、发送和校验等,实现服务器端和客户端的通信;最后在ARM7平台SmartARM上运行带有Linux内核的uClinux操作系统上进行试验,实验证明了所设计的通信系统数据传输的实现及可靠性。
