In this paper, the HAM is applied to obtained the series solution of the high-order nonlinear Volterra and Fredholm integro-differential problems with power-law nonlinearity. Two cases are considered, in the first case the set of base functions is introduced to represent solution of given nonlinear problem and in the other case, the set of base functions is not introduced. However, in both cases, the convergence-parameter provides us with a simple way to adjust and control the convergence region of solution series.  相似文献

In this study, static pull-in instability of electrostatically-actuated microbridges and microcantilevers is investigated considering different nonlinear effects. Galerkin’s decomposition method is utilized to convert the nonlinear differential equations of motion to nonlinear integro-algebraic equations. Afterward, analytic solutions to static deflections of the microbeams are obtained using the homotopy perturbation method. Results are in excellent agreement with those presented in the literature.  相似文献

In this paper, based on the homotopy analysis method (HAM), a powerful algorithm is developed for the solution of nonlinear ordinary differential equations of fractional order. The proposed algorithm presents the procedure of constructing the set of base functions and gives the high-order deformation equation in a simple form. Different from all other analytic methods, it provides us with a simple way to adjust and control the convergence region of solution series by introducing an auxiliary parameter ??. The analysis is accompanied by numerical examples. The algorithm described in this paper is expected to be further employed to solve similar nonlinear problems in fractional calculus.  相似文献

In this work, the sensitivity to material characteristics of eigenvalues is studied. From an initial structure, some defects of material or/and geometry are introduced. This paper presents a constructive method which gives, for any polynomialF(Z) of the degreen, approximate values of all the roots ofF(Z).. The point of the method is on the use of a piecewise linear function (Z, t) which approximates a homotopyH(Z, t) betweenF(Z) and a polynomialG(Z) of the degreen withn known simple roots. It is shown that the set of solutions to (Z, t) = 0 includesn distinct paths,m of which converges to a root ofF(Z) if and only if the root has the multiplicitym.
