本文列出各向异性柱体扭转问题无量纲化后的有关方程的边界条件推导和验证了基本解,并指出一些书中基本解列式有误^[9-11],列出了充分必要的边界积分方 程,进行了数据计算,并与习用的边界积分方程所得结果进行了比较,表明在退化值附近,习用的边界积分方程所得的边界剪应力会出现巨大的误差,扭转刚度的误差则要小得多,而充要的边界积分方程计算的结果则如终保持良好的精度,再次显示了它的优点。  相似文献

A study is conducted to investigate forced convective flow and heat transfer over a bank of staggered cylinders. Using a novel numerical formulation based on a non‐orthogonal collocated grid in a physical plane, the effects of Reynolds number and cylinder spacing on the flow and heat transfer behaviour are systematically studied. It is observed that both the Reynolds number and cylinder spacing influence the recirculatory vortex formation and growth in the region between the cylinders; in turn, the rates of heat transfer between the fluid and the staggered cylinders are affected. As the cylinder spacing decreases, the size and length of eddies reduce. For sufficiently small spacings, eddy formation is completely suppressed even at high Reynolds number. Pressure drop and Nusselt number predictions based on numerical study are in excellent agreement with available correlations. The study provides useful insight on the detailed flow and heat transfer phenomena for the case of a bank of staggered cylinders. Copyright © 2002 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

A novel Navier-Stokes solver based on the boundary integral equation method is presented. The solver can be used to obtain flow solutions in arbitrary 2D geometries with modest computational effort. The vorticity transport equation is modelled as a modified Helmholtz equation with the wave number dependent on the flow Reynolds number. The non-linear inertial terms partly manifest themselves as volume vorticity sources which are computed iteratively by tracking flow trajectories. The integral equation representations of the Helmholtz equation for vorticity and Poisson equation for streamfunction are solved directly for the unknown vorticity boundary conditions. Rapid computation of the flow and vorticity field in the volume at each iteration level is achieved by precomputing the influence coefficient matrices. The pressure field can be extracted from the converged streamfunction and vorticity fields. The solver is validated by considering flow in a converging channel (Hamel flow). The solver is then applied to flow in the annulus of eccentric cylinders. Results are presented for various Reynolds numbers and compared with the literature.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the flow of a visco-elastic liquid through a rectangular channel containing a cylindrical obstruction placed either in a symmetric or asymmetric position with respect to the centre of the channel. Numerical predictions of the flow are obtained using a well established finite element Galerkin mixed formulation. The influence of elasticity on the streamline pattern is found to be negligible, and one only observes changes due to different geometries, i.e. relative positions of cylinder and channel. However, both elasticity and a variable viscosity are found to have significant effects on the forces exerted on the cylinder.  相似文献

The pseudopotential and perturbation theory are used to derive the first three terms in the expansion of the smallest eigenvalue of the Helmholtz equation both for infinite two-dimensional systems with an array of perfectly absorbing circles centered on (1) a square lattice and (2) a triangular lattice, and also for infinite three-dimensional systems both with arrays of perfectly absorbing interspersed cylinders and with an array of perfectly absorbing spheres centered on (1), a simple cubic lattice, (2) a body-centered cubic lattice, and (3) a facecentered cubic lattice. In all cases, the perturbation parameter involves the ratio of the radius of the absorber to the lattice spacing. These eigenvalues and the corresponding eigenfunctions are used to compute the first three terms of expansions of the first passage time of a diffusing point particle randomly placed outside the absorbers. Expressing the perturbation parameter as a function of the area or volume fraction occupied by the absorbers reveals a remarkable similarity among the rates of diffusion-limited reaction for arrays of absorbers and the corresponding radially symmetric system containing one central absorber.  相似文献
