采用动态粘弹性测量研究了不同分子量的生物大分子可德胶 (Curdlan)水悬浮液 (ASC)的流变学特性 .室温下观察到ASC具有弹性 (Solid like)行为 ,储能模量G′在测量范围内轻微依赖频率 ,而损耗模量G″和损耗角正切tanδ存在最小值 .ASC粘弹性随可德胶分子量和浓度的增加而增强 .ASC的流动特性符合Herschel Bulkley模型 ;其弹性行为可以通过渗流理论的标度弹性模型来描述 .网络结构是由于可德胶颗粒聚集或絮凝而形成的 ,当可德胶含量超过临界浓度cs=0 3 %时 ,弹性模量G′与可德胶浓度存在标度关系G′=Goεt,其中标度指数t=2 5 4.  相似文献

A novel method for monitoring fibre performance and death, based on a Shewhart control plot, for use in headspace analysis by solid phase microextraction-gas chromatography (SPME-GC) is presented. The method is also demonstrated to be effective in standardising fibre response in extended time-course experiments, where several fibres may be required to complete a lengthy study. Extraction conditions that gave good total recovery and diversity of compounds, from olive oil headspace were found to be: 1 g oil sample in 10 mL vessel; exposure of DVB-CAR-PDMS, 50/30 μm fibre for 30 min at 40 °C; and desorption for 3 min at 250 °C. Calibration curves were constructed for 25 compounds commonly reported in olive oil headspace; with coefficients of determination (R2) ranging from 0.959 to 0.994 and limits of detection (LOD) from 0.01 to 0.59 μg/g. The method was applied to monitor the change in concentration of select C6 volatile compounds, which have implications in sensory quality - E-2-hexenal, hexanal, E-2-hexen-1-ol, hexanol - over a period of 12 months storage.  相似文献

This investigation examines the magnetorheological (MR) characteristics of Fe3O4 aqueous suspensions. Magnetite particles (Fe3O4) were synthesized using a colloidal process and their sizes were determined to be normally distributed with an average of 10 nm by TEM. Experimental results reveal that the MR effect increases with the magnetic field and suspension concentration. The yield stress increases by up to two orders of magnitude when the sample is subjected to a magnetic field of 146 Oe/mm. In comparison with other published results, concerning a concentration of approximately 10–15% v/v, this study demonstrates that the same increase can be obtained with a concentration of nano-scale particles as low as 0.04% by volume. The viscosity was increased by an order of magnitude while the shear rate remained low; however, the increase decayed rapidly as the shear rate was raised. Finally, the MR effect caused by DC outperformed that caused by AC at the same current.  相似文献

The porous structure of the interior of papermaking fibres is a well-known important property of the fibres. Changes of this structure will influence tensile and burst strength of paper formed from the fibres and a change in pore size of the pores within the fibre wall is also important for the ability of molecules to diffuse in and out of the fibre wall. Relevant examples of this latter effect are the removal of lignin during cooking and the addition of performance chemicals during papermaking. In this paper, pore sizes and the pore size distribution of unbleached softwood fibres have been studied. A well-characterised fibre material consisting of laboratory cooked spruce and pine pulp of various lignin contents was used. Pore size and pore size distribution were measured by studies of the relaxation behaviour of 2H in fibres saturated with 2H2O. Beside this the total and surface charge of the fibres were also measured together with strength properties of papers from unbeaten fibres. For both pulps, there is a maximum in pore radius at a yield around 46%. Calculations of fibre wall volume from water retention values and yield levels show that there is a discontinuity in pore radius as a function of the fibre wall volume around a yield of 51%. It is suggested that this discontinuity is caused by the breakdown of the hemicellulose/lignin matrix within the fibre wall at this yield level. The strength of the papers formed from the fibres shows a correlation with the surface charge of the fibres. Based on the change in surface charge with yield and the change in total charge with yield, this correlation is suggested to be due to an opening up of the external part of the fibre wall. This stresses the importance of the chemical composition and physical structure of the outer layer of the fibre wall.  相似文献

An industrial calcium sulfite pulp was fractionated in a hydrocyclone to four fractions that differed in dimensions and composition due to differences in density. The intention was to investigate whether the fibre dimensions had any influence on the properties of carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) produced from the fractions and especially how the properties of the unreacted material differed. It was surprisingly found that the fraction containing thin-walled fibres gave CMC and dissolved residuals in the CMC-solution that had the lowest degree of substitution (DS). It was therefore believed that the thin-walled fibres were collapsed and more closely bound in the fibre network after drying of the pulp and that this impeded the chemical diffusion in the subsequent CMC-process, i.e. the diffusion of the CMC-chemicals into the cell wall was slower. There was thus a correlation between thinner fibres and a lower degree of substitution for CMC made from such fibres. It was also found that tick-walled fibres had a higher degree of substitution than the thin-walled fibres but that the highest degree of substitution was obtained if a mixture of thin- and thick-walled fibres were used.  相似文献

分析了分布反馈光纤激光器的声波敏感机理,发现阻断"弦"结构对声振动的传递和响应是隔声隔振封装工艺的关键.根据分析设计了一种主体为弧形中性轴线槽的封装结构,分布反馈光纤激光器有源相移光栅在一定预拉力下粘结固定在封装结构的槽中,光栅各点均贴附在弧形平面上.实验结果表明,这种结构有效消除了声致弯曲等效应的影响,使激光器窄线宽特性在外界声波和振动冲击下能够得到良好保持.同时,实现了激光波长大范围的温度调谐,波长温度调谐系数由10 pm/℃提高到30 pm/℃以上,且激光器输出性能稳定.  相似文献

A commercial thermal chemiluminescence (TCL) instrument was modified to allow in situ sample irradiation at wavelengths in the range 320-700 nm under a controlled atmosphere at constant temperature. Weak photo-induced chemiluminescence (PICL) emission was observed from commercial poly(ethylene terephthalate), polyacrylonitrile, and polyamide 6 fabrics, cotton fabric and from the fibrous proteins wool and feather keratin, silk fibroin and bovine skin collagen (Type 1) after exposure to UVA (320-400 nm) or visible light in nitrogen, followed by a change of the atmosphere to oxygen. Collagen emits PICL of similar intensity to keratin, which demonstrates that tryptophan is not essential for PICL emission from proteins. In all cases the decay of PICL with time is complex and does not follow simple first- or second-order kinetics. The effects of experimental variables, including wavelength of radiation and exposure time, sample temperature and fabric pH on the PICL intensity and decay profile are reported for wool keratin.  相似文献

A liquid foam in contact with a solid surface forms a two-dimensional foam on the surface. We derive the equilibrium equations for this 2D foam when the solid surface is curved and smooth, generalising the standard case of flat Hele-Shaw cells. The equilibrium conditions at the vertices in 2D, at the edges in 3D, are invariant by conformal transformations. Regarding the films, conformal invariance only holds with restrictions, which we explicit for 3D and flat 2D foams. Considering foams confined in thin interstices between two non-parallel plates, normal incidence and Laplace’s law lead to an approximate equation relating the plate profile to the conformal map. Solutions are given for the logarithm and power laws in the case of constant pressure. The paper concludes on a comparison with available experimental data.  相似文献

A detailed mathematical model for flocculation of colloidal suspensions in presence of salts and polymers is described and validated. In former case, the classical DLVO theory, which accounts for relevant variables such as pH and salt concentration, is incorporated into a geometrically sectioned discrete population balance model. For processes involving polymers, flocculation via simple charge neutralization is modeled using a modified DLVO theory in which the effect of adsorbed polymer layers on van der Waals attraction is included. The fractal dimension of aggregates is obtained by dynamic scaling of experimental data for time evolution of mean aggregate size. The particle surface potential is assumed to be approximately equal to the zeta potential. The model predictions are in close agreement with experimental results for flocculation of colloidal hematite suspensions in the presence of KCl and polyacrylic acid at different concentrations. In particular, given values of model parameters, e.g., Hamaker constant, fractal dimension, surface potential, and thickness of adsorbed polymer layer, the model can realistically describe the kinetics of flocculation by a simple charge neutralization mechanism and track the evolution of floc size distribution. Representative examples of sensitivity of the flocculation model to perturbations in surface potential and fractal dimension and to modification in the DLVO theory for polymer-coated particles are included.  相似文献
