We get estimates on the eigenvalues of the Kählerian Dirac operator in terms of the eigenvalues of the scalar Laplace–Beltrami operator. In odd complex dimension, these estimates are sharp, in the sense that, for the first eigenvalue, they reduce to Kirchberg's inequality.  相似文献

The hypothesis of coupling between spin and rotation introduced long ago by Mashhoon is examined in the context of “1 + 3” and “3 + 1” space-time splitting techniques, either in special or in general relativity. Its content is discussed in terms of classical (Mathisson–Papapetrou–Dixon–Souriou model) as well as quantum physics (Foldy–Wouthuysen transformation for the Dirac field in an external field), reviewing and discussing all the relevant theoretical literature concerning the existence of such effect. The Sturmian expansion of the generalized Dirac‐Coulomb Green function (Szmytkowski, J Phys B, 1997, 30, 825; erratum 1997, 30, 2747) is exploited to derive closed‐form expressions for electric $(\sigma_{E})$ and magnetic $(\sigma_{M})$ dipole shielding constants for the ground state of the relativistic hydrogen‐like atom with a point‐like and spinless nucleus of charge Ze. It is found that $\sigma_{E}=Z^{-1}$ (as it should be) and where $\gamma_{1}=\sqrt{1-(Z\alpha)^{2}}$ (α is the fine‐structure constant). This expression for $\sigma_{M}$ agrees with earlier findings of several other authors, obtained with the use of other analytical techniques, and is elementary compared to an alternative one presented recently by Cheng et al. The two-dimensional (2D) materials with nodal line band crossing have been attracting great research interest. However, it remains a challenge to find high-stable nodal line structure in 2D systems. Herein, based on the first-principles calculations and theoretical analysis, we propose that monolayer B6O possesses symmetry protected Dirac nodal line (DNL) state, with its Fermi velocity of 106 m/s in the same order of magnitude as that of graphene. The origin of DNL fermions is induced by coexistence of time-reversal symmetry and inversion symmetry. A two-band tight-binding model is further given to understand the mechanism of DNL. Considering its robustness against spin—orbit coupling (SOC) and high structural stability, these results suggest monolayer B6O as a new platform for realizing future high-speed low-dissipation devices.  相似文献

It has been observed that a quantum theory need not be Hermitian to have a real spectrum. We study the non-Hermitian relativistic quantum theories for many complex potentials, and obtain the real relativistic energy eigenvalues and corresponding eigenfunctions of a Dirac-charged particle in complex statically and spherically symmetric potentials. Complex Dirac–Eckart, complex Dirac–Rosen–Morse II, complex Dirac–Scarf and complex Dirac–Poschl–Teller potential are investigated.  相似文献

Based on the extended Stroh formalism, we first derive the extended Green’s functions for an extended dislocation and displacement discontinuity located at the interface of a piezoelectric bi-material. These include Green’s functions of the extended dislocation, displacement discontinuities within a finite interval and the concentrated displacement discontinuities, all on the interface. The Green’s functions are then applied to obtain the integro-differential equation governing the interfacial crack. To eliminate the oscillating singularities associated with the delta function in the Green’s functions, we represent the delta function in terms of the Gaussian distribution function. In so doing, the integro-differential equation is reduced to a standard integral equation for the interfacial crack problem in piezoelectric bi-material with the extended displacement discontinuities being the unknowns. A simple numerical approach is also proposed to solve the integral equation for the displacement discontinuities, along with the asymptotic expressions of the extended intensity factors and J-integral in terms of the discontinuities near the crack tip. In numerical examples, the effect of the Gaussian parameter on the numerical results is discussed, and the influence of different extended loadings on the interfacial crack behaviors is further investigated.  相似文献

We consider a model of particle motion in the field of an electromagnetic monopole (in the Coulomb-Dirac field) perturbed by homogeneous and inhomogeneous electric fields. After quantum averaging, we obtain an integrable system whose Hamiltonian can be expressed in terms of the generators of an algebra with polynomial commutation relations. We construct the irreducible representations of this algebra and its hypergeometric coherent states. We use these states to represent the eigenfunctions of the original problem in terms of the solutions of the model ordinary differential equation. The Dirac optical potential for p-^14 Be elastic scattering is evaluated by the relativistic impulse approximation. Each of the real part and the imaginary part of the potential shows a pronounced “long tail” for the proton elastic scattering from halo nucleus ^14Be compared with the potentials for proton scattering from its adjacent nuclei ^12C and ^16O, which do not have halo structures.This kind of “long tail” phenomenon suggests another signature for halo nuclei.  相似文献
