The optimum formulation and ultrasonic condition for fabrication of cinnamon essential oil (CEO) nanoemulsion were determined using Response Surface Methodology (RSM). The CEO nanoemulsions were formed using an ultrasonic bath (43 kHz at power output of 210 W) and an ultrasonic probe (24 kHz at power of 400 W). Probe ultrasonication outperformed bath ultrasonication since it produced nanoemulsions with smaller droplet size, narrower size distribution as measured using polydispersity index (PDI), and higher viscosity. The influences of sonication time of 180.23–351.77 s, temperature of 4.82–45.18 °C, and Tween® 80 concentration of 1–3% w/w on the droplet size, PDI, and viscosity were investigated using RSM based on Box-Behnken design (BBD). The RSM revealed that the sonication time of 266 s, temperature of 4.82 °C, and Tween® 80 of 3% w/w produced the optimum CEO nanoemulsion with droplet size of 65.98 nm, PDI of 0.15, and viscosity of 1.67 mPa.s. Moreover, the optimum nanoemulsion had good stability in terms of droplet size and PDI when storing at 4, 30, and 45 °C for 90 days. The antifungal activity of the optimum CEO nanoemulsion was then investigated against Aspergillus niger, Rhizopus arrhizus, Penicillium sp., and Colletotrichum gloeosporioides in comparison to CEO coarse emulsion. 利用蓝绿激光对非晶态Ge2Sb2Te5 相变薄膜进行擦除性能的研究,分别用1000 ns,500 ns,100 ns,60 ns脉宽的蓝绿激光进行实验.结果表明,一定脉宽下,反射率对比度随擦除功率的增加而增大.并且,在1000 ns,500 ns,100 ns,60 ns的激光作用时间范围内,非晶态薄膜均可转变成晶态.对于脉宽为60 ns的蓝绿激光,擦除功率大于4.49 mW以后,薄膜的反射率对比度高于15%,这表明Ge2Sb2Te5相变薄膜在短脉宽、低擦除功率条件下,可具有较高的晶化速度.同时,分析了非晶态和晶态Ge2Sb2Te5相变薄膜的光谱特性,对比研究了780 nm,650 nm,514 nm和405 nm波长处的反射率和反射率对比度,提出了Ge2Sb2Te5相变薄膜用于蓝光光盘的改进方法. 相似文献

A new functionality of ABAQUS/Standard, which allows for a nonlinear analysis prior to a complex eigenvalue extraction in order to study the stability of brake systems, is used to analyse disc brake squeal. An attempt is made to investigate the effects of system parameters, such as the hydraulic pressure, the rotational velocity of the disc, the friction coefficient of the contact interactions between the pads and the disc, the stiffness of the disc, and the stiffness of the back plates of the pads, on the disc squeal. The simulation results show that significant pad bending vibration may be responsible for the disc brake squeal. The squeal can be reduced by decreasing the friction coefficient, increasing the stiffness of the disc, using damping material on the back plates of the pads, and modifying the shape of the brake pads. 相似文献

为揭示封闭应力对巴西圆盘应力分布和破裂演化过程的影响,开展不同方向封闭应力对巴西圆盘破裂二维数值模拟研究。将封闭应力的区域等效成一个封闭的包裹体分布在岩体中,探究不同方向封闭应力对圆盘应力分布和裂纹扩展的影响。结果表明,施加封闭应力的部位出现局部应力变化明显高于未施加的区域,随着加载的进行,施加封闭应力区域的局部应力小于周围未施加封闭应力的区域;对比有无封闭应力存在时加载过程中最大米塞斯应力,得出当封闭应力与加载方向夹角为0°时最大,为20.78 MPa;当无封闭应力和封闭应力方向为0°时,圆盘中心起裂,封闭应力方向为30°,60°,90°时,圆盘的裂纹带发生倾斜并出现多条倾斜短裂纹,圆盘未中心起裂。

In this paper, the fracture strength of a cracked suspension bridge wire is determined based on linear elastic fracture mechanics (LEFM). The wire is 5 mm in diameter, with an original ultimate strength of 1725 MPa and ultimate elongation that ranges between 5.5% and 6%. The average value of for the wire fracture toughness, KC, was recently evaluated by the author. The state of practice is to use the ultimate strength of the cracked wire as obtained from tensile tests. This approach may overestimate the strength of the wire due to possible delamination and crack tip plasticity. A case study for a group of in situ wire breaks retrieved from a suspension bridge cable is presented. The failure analysis is performed based on both the fracture toughness criterion and the net section theory. The fracture toughness criterion produced more realistic results for the fracture strength of the wire. The decline in the fracture toughness and the corresponding reduction in the fracture strength of cracked degraded wire are predicted making use of the strain energy density criterion. 相似文献

At present, disc cutters of a full face rock tun-nel boring machine are mostly mounted in the traditional way. Practical use in engineering projects reveals that this installation method not only heavily affects the operation life of disc cutters, but also increases the energy consump-tion of a full face rock tunnel boring machine. To straighten out this issue, therefore, a rock-breaking model is devel-oped for disc cutters’ movement after the research on the rock breaking of forward-slanting disc cutters. Equations of its displacement are established based on the analysis of velocity vector of a disc cutter’s rock-breaking point. The functional relations then are brought forward between the displacement parameters of a rock-breaking point and its coordinate through the analysis of micro displacement of a rock-breaking point. Thus, the geometric equations of rock deformation are derived for the forward-slanting installation of disc cutters. With a linear relationship remaining between the acting force and its deformation either before or after the leap breaking, the constitutive relation of rock deformation can be expressed in the form of generalized Hooke law, hence the comparative analysis of the variation in the resistance of rock to the disc cutters mounted in the forward-slanting way with that in the traditional way. It is discovered that with the same penetration, strain of the rock in contact with forward-slanting disc cutters is apparently on the decline, in other words, the resistance of rock to disc cutters is reduced. Thus wear of disc cutters resulted from friction is lowered and energy consumption is correspondingly decreased. It will be useful for the development of installation and design theory of disc cutters, and significant for the breakthrough in the design of full face rock tunnel boring machine. 相似文献

Stress magnification in thin ligaments between small and large cylindrical voids is obtained by matching the inner field approximation by beam theory to the outer rigid-body field in the bulk of the material. A void between two larger voids is modeled as a large hole within a strip of straight edges (boundaries of the holes with infinite radii of curvature). Both stretching and bending types of loading are applied to the strip. Comparison of different orders of stress magnification for different geometries and loading conditions is made. A sensitive and reliable RP-HPLC method was developed using a C18 CLC-ODS (M) - 4.6x250 mm(2)column and gradient elution for the analysis of phenolic compounds in propolis raw material and its products. A procedure for the extraction of phenolic compounds using aqueous ethanol (90%) with the addition of veratraldehyde as the internal standard (IS) was developed allowing to quantify ten compounds: caffeic acid, coumaric acid, ferulic acid, cinnamic acid, aromadendrin-4'-methyl ether (AME), isosakuranetin, drupanin, artepellin C, baccharin, and 2,2-dimethyl-6-carboxyethenyl-2H-1-benzopyran acid (DCBEN).
