Godunov‐type algorithms are very attractive for the numerical solution of discontinuous flows. The reconstruction of the profile inside the cells is crucial to scheme performance. The non‐linear generalization of the discontinuous profile method (DPM) presented here for the modelling of two‐phase flow in pipes uses a discontinuous reconstruction in order to capture shocks more efficiently than schemes using continuous functions. The reconstructed profile is used to define the Riemann problem at cell interfaces by averaging of the components of the variable in the base of eigenvectors over their domain of dependence. Intercell fluxes are computed by solving the Riemann problem with an approximate‐state solver. The adapted treatment of boundary conditions is essential to ensure the quality of the computational results and a specific procedure using virtual cells at both extremities of the computational domain is required. Internal boundary conditions can be treated in the same way as external ones. Application of the DPM to test cases is shown to improve the quality of computational results significantly. The reconstruction of coded aperture images using an optical scanning heterodyne processor is described for a class of apertures which can be synthesized by two beam interference. The analysis of Fresnel zone apertures indicates that a lateral and longitudinal (tomographic) resolution close to the theoretical limit is achievable. Experimental results of optical simulations confirm this assertion. Advantages of such technique include real-time operation and large multiplexing capability. 相似文献

This paper deals with the shape reconstruction of a viscous incompressible fluid driven by the Stokes flow. For the approximate solution of the ill-posed and nonlinear problem we propose a regularized Newton method. A theoretical foundation for the Newton method is given by establishing the differentiability of the initial boundary value problem with respect to the interior boundary curve in the sense of a domain derivative. The numerical examples show that our theory is useful for practical purpose and the proposed algorithm is feasible. 相似文献

We present a new finite‐volume method for calculating complex flows on non‐uniform meshes. This method is designed to be highly compact and to accurately capture all discontinuities that may arise within the solution of a nonlinear hyperbolic system. In the first step, we devise a fourth‐degree Hermite polynomial to interpolate the solution. The coefficients defining this polynomial are calculated by using a least‐square method. To introduce monotonicity conditions within the procedure, two constraints are added into the least‐square system. Those constraints are derived by locally matching the high‐order Hermite polynomial with a low‐order TVD polynomial. To emulate these constraints only in regions of discontinuities, data‐depending weights are defined; these weights are based upon normalized indicators of smoothness of the solution and are parameterized by an O(1) quantity. The reconstruction so generated is highly compact and is fifth‐order accurate when the solution is smooth; this reconstruction becomes first order in regions of discontinuities. In the second step, this reconstruction is inserted in an HLL approximate Riemann solver. This solver is designed to correctly capture all discontinuities that may arise into the solution. To this aim, we introduce the contribution of a possible contact discontinuity into the HLL Riemann solver. Thus, a spatially fifth‐order non‐oscillatory method is generated. This method evolves in time the solution and its first derivative. In a one‐dimensional context, a linear spectral analysis and extensive numerical experiments make it possible to assess the robustness and the advantages of the method in computing multi‐scale problems with embedded discontinuities. Formation of Stone–Wales edge: Multistep reconstruction and growth mechanisms of zigzag nanographene

Although the existence of Stone–Wales (5‐7) defect at graphene edge has been clarified experimentally, theoretical study on the formation mechanism is still imperfect. In particular, the regioselectivity of multistep reactions at edge (self‐reconstruction and growth with foreign carbon feedstock) is essential to understand the kinetic behavior of reactive boundaries but investigations are still lacking. Herein, by using finite‐sized models, multistep reconstructions and carbon dimer additions of a bared zigzag edge are introduced using density functional theory calculations. The zigzag to 5‐7 transformation is proved as a site‐selective process to generate alternating 5‐7 pairs sequentially and the first step with largest barrier is suggested as the rate‐determining step. Conversely, successive C2 insertions on the active edge are calculated to elucidate the formation of 5‐7 edge during graphene growth. A metastable intermediate with a triple sequentially fused pentagon fragment is proved as the key structure for 5‐7 edge formation. © 2017 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. 相似文献

In this paper, we propose a nonlinear PDE model for reconstructing a regular surface from sampled data. At first, we show the existence and the uniqueness of a viscosity solution to this problem. Then we propose a numerical scheme for solving the nonlinear level set equation on unstructured triangulations adapted to the data sample. We show the consistency of this scheme. In addition, we show how to compute nodewise first and second order derivatives. Some application examples of curve or surface construction are provided to illustrate the potential and to demonstrate the accuracy of this method. 相似文献

We develop a new hierarchical reconstruction (HR) method and for limiting solutions of the discontinuous Galerkin and finite volume methods up to fourth order of accuracy without local characteristic decomposition for solving hyperbolic nonlinear conservation laws on triangular meshes. The new HR utilizes a set of point values when evaluating polynomials and remainders on neighboring cells, extending the technique introduced in Hu, Li and Tang [9]. The point-wise HR simplifies the implementation of the previous HR method which requires integration over neighboring cells and makes HR easier to extend to arbitrary meshes. We prove that the new point-wise HR method keeps the order of accuracy of the approximation polynomials. Numerical computations for scalar and system of nonlinear hyperbolic equations are performed on two-dimensional triangular meshes. We demonstrate that the new hierarchical reconstruction generates essentially non-oscillatory solutions for schemes up to fourth order on triangular meshes. 相似文献

针对高能闪光照相投影图像消模糊难度大的问题,提出了一种基于全变分正则化的消模糊图像重建算法,该算法根据闪光照相的成像特点,将客体的纵向截面作为一个整体来进行建模,并在重建方程中考虑了模糊因素,然后采用全变分范数作为正则项,构建了用于消模糊图像重建的展平泛函,将消模糊图像重建问题转化为能量泛函极小化问题,通过固定点迭代算法求解图像重建问题的最小化解。数值模拟结果表明:该算法由于考虑了闪光照相成像时的图像模糊因素,在重建时能够较好地消除模糊对重建结果的影响,在抑制噪声的同时能较好地保持图像的边缘信息,有利于提高重建图像的质量。 相似文献
