Transmission Properties of THz Radiation Pulses through Very Deep Zero-Order Metallic Gratings

Very deep zero-order metallic grating structures are processed to study the transmission properties of THz radiation pulses. The experiments have been performed with two samples. The delay of the THz pulses and the corresponding resonantly enhanced transmission spectra through the samples are observed. To explain the extraordinary transmission we have treated the samples as Fabry-Perot resonators through resonant excitation of the coupled surface plasmon polaritons filled in the cavities between the metal slats. The experimental results are in reasonable agreement with the numerical simulation. Our results show that THz-time-domain spectroscopy may be an effective technique for studying the optical properties of various THz microstructured devices.     

Effect of the Initial Mass Function of Primaries on Binary Stellar Populations

Using evolutionary population synthesis technique, we explore the behaviour of the integrated U-B,B-V, V-R and R - I colours, the integrated spectral energy- distributions (ISEDs) and Lick/IDS absorption-line indices of instantaneous burst solar-metallicity binary stellar populations, as a function of the initial mass function (IMF)of primaries. It is found that the variation of the IMF of primaries produces a small effect on the integrated colours and the Lick/IDS indices, while a significant difference in the absolute ISEDs.     

纳米PIC-I分子聚集体的超辐射和Z-扫描研究

分子聚集体在非线性光学和集成光学等领域有潜在的应用前景。纳米结构一维染料分子J—聚集体有许多既不同于单个分子又不同于体材料的奇异性质，即超辐射和巨光学非线性。这种超辐射是由于在几个本征态内振于强度结合在一起，得到一巨跃迁偶极于，因而是超辐射的。跃迁速率与耦合分子个数N成正比。分子聚集体的J—吸收和超辐射发射是共振的。利用Z—扫描技术测量PIC在不同配比下的非线性折射率、非线性吸收系数和非线性极化率。观测到随着链长变短，样品的三阶非线性极化率增大。对这种非线性增强的机制进行了分析和讨论。     

神光Ⅱ上柱形黑腔辐射驱动冲击波

利用神光Ⅱ的八路三倍频激光装置，驱动柱形黑腔产生的x 射线作辐射源驱动台阶铝样品产生冲击波，获得了清晰的冲击波图像，通过冲击波过台阶样 品的时间差获得冲击波速度和压力分别为31.2km/s和17.5×10⁵MPa.采用软x射线能谱 仪通过激光注入孔测量的辐射温度与采用冲击波法测量辐射温度的结果一致. 关键词： 冲击波 辐射驱动 辐射温度     

Effects of Pre-exposure Mouse Pituitary with Low-dose ^60Co γ-ray on Growth Hormone （GH） and Body Mass Induced by Subsequent High-dose Irradiation

The pituitary of the B6C3F1 hybrid strain mice were irradiated with 0.05 Gy of ^60Co γ-ray as the pre-exposure dose (D1), and were then irradiated with 2 Gy of ^60Co γ-ray as challenging irradiation dose (D2) at 4h after per-exposure. Body weight and serum growth hormone (GH) were measured at 35th day after irradiation. The results showed that irradiation of mouse testes with 2 Gy of ^60Co γ-ray significantly diminished mousebody weight and level of serum GH (Table). Pre-exposure with a low-dose (0.05 Gy) of ^60Co γ-ray significantly alleviated reductions of mouse body weight and level of serum GH induced by subsequent a high-dose (2 Gy) irradiation (Table). The data suggested that low-dose ionizing irradiation can induce adaptive responses to the harmful effects of pituitary by subsequent high-dose exposure.     

空间斜程能见度的影响因素分析

 空间斜程能见度是空间目标识别的重要参量。水平能见度与大气消光参数有明确的关系，而斜程能见度与大气消光参数、观测方向、太阳天顶角等多种因素有关，目前尚未有明确的结果。从辐射传输理论出发，通过δ-Eddington近似求解辐射传输方程，尝试推导了空间斜程能见度的表达式，探讨了斜程能见度与观察者视角、太阳高度角以及大气光学特性之间的关系。     

地面附近的高空核爆电磁脉冲环境

 主要研究在高空核爆的双指数类型电磁脉冲平面波入射时，地面附近的电磁脉冲环境。计算给出了在不同入射波状态，不同地表介质电气特性和距地面不同高度等条件下的电磁脉冲环境参数，归纳了一些规律性认识。结果显示：地面附近的电场会随距地面高度的不同而发生显著的变化，对于水平场分量，其反射场总是试图抵消入射场，而对于垂直场分量，其反射场叠加在入射场上，使得地面附近的垂直场强幅值一般大于入射波场强幅值；当入射波仰角增大时，合成电场波形的脉冲宽度会变宽；地表介质的电气特性参数不同也会对地面附近电场的波形和幅值造成一定的影响。

A facile, rapid and regioselective method for the 1-O-deacylation of peracylated glycopyranoses is described which occurs under mild conditions by absorption onto alumina using microwave irradiation.

Generation of Ultrashort Light Bullets in Dispersive Kerr Media Using the Fourth—Order Dispersion—Dependent Spatiotemporal Instability

A new method for generation of a train of ultrashort pulses or a sequence of ultrashort light bullets is proposed. This method is based on the fourth-order dispersion-dependent spatiotemporal instability in dispersive Kerr media. The repetition-rate of the generated bullets can be made quite large by increasing the corresponding spatial modulation frequency locating in the new instability region resulted from fourth-order dispersion.
