天鹅绒阴极产生的双脉冲强流相对论电子束特性实验研究

在时间分辨的模式下, 实验研究了天鹅绒阴极产生的双脉冲相对论强流电子束的束心运动、束包络和束的发射度. 在实验中, 电子束流强度和电子束心运动用电阻环进行测试, 而电子束和石英玻璃的相互作用产生的契仑科夫辐射用来给出电子束包络和发射度信息. 电子束和石英玻璃作用产生的契仑科夫辐射用1台8幅分幅相机记录. 实验结果表明, 天鹅绒阴极产生的相对论强流双脉冲电子束在束流大小、束心运动轨迹、束包络及束发射度等方面具有较好的一致性.     

Stability of Motion of a Nonholonomic System

Perturbation differential equations of motion of a general nonholonomic system subjected to the ideal nonholonomic constraints of Chetaev＇s type are established, and the equation of variation of energy is deduced by using the perturbation equations of the system. A criterion of the stability is obtained and an example is given to illustrate the application of the result.     

Creep Motion in Two-Dimensional Fully Frustrated Coulomb Gas Model

The creep motion in a two-dimensional fully frustrated square lattice Coulomb gas model with disorders is studied by using the Monte Carlo technique. The dependence of charge current density J on electric field E is investigated at low temperature T and at low E. The results show that the creep obeys the Arrhenius law J - C（T） exp[-U（E）/T]. The prefactor C（T） increases with the temperature in a power law relation with an exponent about 3.0. The energy barrier U （ E） increases logarithmically with Ec,/ E as U （ E） - Uo ln（ Ec/ E） with Ec being the critical field at zero temperature.

Global Geometry of 3-Body Motions with Vanishing Angular Momentum Ⅰ

Following Jacobi＇s geometrization of Lagrange＇s least action principle, trajectories of classical mechanics can be characterized as geodesics on the configuration space M with respect to a suitable metric which is the conformal modification of the kinematic metric by the factor （U ＋ h）, where U and h are the potential function and the total energy, respectively. In the special case of 3-body motions with zero angular momentum, the global geometry of such trajectories can be reduced to that of their moduli curves, which record the change of size and shape, in the moduli space of oriented m-triangles, whose kinematic metric is, in fact, a Riemannian cone over the shape space M^＊≌S^2 （1/2）.
In this paper, it is shown that the moduli curve of such a motion is uniquely determined by its shape curve （which only records the change of shape） in the case of h≠0, while in the special case of h = 0 it is uniquely determined up to scaling. Thus, the study of the global geometry of such motions can be further reduced to that of the shape curves, which are time-parametrized curves on the 2-sphere characterized by a third order ODE. Moreover, these curves have two remarkable properties, namely the uniqueness of parametrization and the monotonieity, that constitute a solid foundation for a systematic study of their global geometry and naturally lead to the formulation of some pertinent problems.

Generalized Dirichlet Normal Ordering in Open Bosonic Strings

Generally, open string boundary conditions play a nontrivial role in string theory. For example, in the presence of an antisymmetric tensor background field, they will lead the spacetime coordinates noncommutative. In this paper, we mainly discuss how to build up a generalized Dirichlet normal ordered product of open bosonic string embedding operators that satisfies both the equations of motion and the generalized Dirichlet boundary conditions at the quantum level in the presence of an antisymmetric background field, as the generalized Neumann case has already been discussed in the literature. Further, we also give a brief check of the consistency of the theory under the newly introduced normal ordering.
