η-Invariant and Flat Vector Bundles

Abstract We present an alternate definition of the mod Z component of the Atiyah-Patodi-Singer η invariant associated to (not necessary unitary) flat vector bundles, which identifies explicitly its real and imaginary parts. This is done by combining a deformation of flat connections introduced in a previous paper with the analytic continuation procedure appearing in the original article of Atiyah, Patodi and Singer. * Project supported by the Cheung-Kong Scholarship of the Ministry of Education of China and the 973 Project of the Ministry of Science and Technology of China. QUATERNION GENERALIZED SINGULAR VALUE DECOMPOSITION AND ITS APPLICATIONS

This paper derives a theorem of generalized singular value decomposition of quaternion matrices （QGSVD）,studies the solution of general quaternion matrix equation AXB -CYD= E,and obtains quaternionic Roth＇s theorem. This paper also suggests sufficient and necessary conditions for the existence and uniqueness of solutions and explicit forms of the solutions of the equation.     

相对论平均场理论对196Pb超形变态的研究

在形变约束的相对论平均场理论框架下, 用TMA, PK1, NL3和NL-SH相互作用对¹⁹⁶Pb的超形变态进行了系统研究. 给出了¹⁹⁶Pb的位能曲线、基态和超形变态的形变以及超形变态退激的激发能. ¹⁹⁶Pb的基态为β₂≈－0.15的扁椭球, 超形变激发态为β₂≈0.60的长椭球, 激发能在4－5MeV之间, 势阱深度在1－2.2MeV之间. 这些结果与最近观测的实验数据符合得非常好, 表明相对论平均场理论能够较好地描述¹⁹⁶Pb超形变转动带带首的能量.     

Kuhn-Tucker条件与线性规划的对偶性

证明了线性规划的K uhn-Tucker条件蕴含着它的对偶问题,解释了L agrange乘子的意义.进而显示了K-T条件中的互补松驰性与对偶线性规划的互补松紧定理之间的联系.
