A method for deriving one-dimensional wave propagation equations in thin inhomogeneous anisotropic bars based on the mathematical homogenization theory for periodic media is used to obtain equations governing the longitudinal and transverse vibrations of a homogeneous circular bar. The equations are derived up to O8) terms and take into account variable body forces and surface loads. Here, ε is the ratio of the bar’s typical thickness to the typical wavelength.  相似文献

A mechanomathematical model for bending of packages of transversely isotropic bars of rectangular cross section is proposed. Adhesion, slippage, and separation zones between the bars are considered. The resolving equations for deflections and tangential displacements are supplemented with a system of linear differential equations for determining the normal and tangential contact stresses, and boundary conditions are formulated. A scheme for analytical solution of two contact problems—a package under the action of a distributed load and a round stamp—is considered. For these packages, a transition is performed from the initial system of differential equations for determining the contact stresses, where the unknown functions are interrelated by recurrent relationships, to one linear differential equation of fourth order and then to a system of linear algebraic equations. The study of the dynamic behavior of slender masonry structures is usually related to the preservation of the historic heritage. This study, for bell towers and industrial masonry chimneys, is particularly relevant in areas with an important seismic hazard. The analysis of the dynamic behavior of masonry structures is particularly complex due to the multiple effects that can affect the variation of its main frequencies along the seasons of the year: temperature and humidity. Moreover, these dynamic properties also vary considerably in structures built in areas where land subsidence due to the variation of the phreatic level along the year is particularly evident: the stiffness of the soil–structure interaction also varies. This paper presents a study to evaluate the possibility of detecting the variation of groundwater level based on the readings obtained using accelerometers in different positions on the structure. To do this a general case study was considered: a 3D numerical model of a bellower. The variation of the phreatic level was evaluated between 0 and −20 m, and 81 cases studies were developed modifying the rigidity of the soil–structure interaction associated to a position of the phreatic level. To simulate the dispositions of accelerometers on a real construction, 16 points of the numerical model were selected along the structure to obtain modal displacements in two orthogonal directions. Through an adjustment by using neural networks, a good correlation has been observed between the predicted position of the water table and acceleration readings obtained from the numerical model. It is possible to conclude that with a discrete register of accelerations on the tower it is possible to predict the water table depth.  相似文献

A general discussion about the stability of arbitrary elastic curved bars in space under combined actions of bending and twisting is given in this paper. A system of Eqs. (28)–(36) for perturbation functions near some equilibrium state is presented. With appropriate boundary conditions, the nontrivial solution corresponds to the critical state. Five examples are analysed in this paper. Some of them are new results and others are old problems treated using the new method.  相似文献

A numerical investigation was conducted to analyze the unsteady laminar flow field and heat transfer characteristics in a plane channel with two square bars mounted side by side to the approaching flow. A finite volume technique is applied with a fine grid and time resolution. The transverse separation distance between the bars (G/d) is varied from 0 to 5, whereas the bar height to channel height is d/H=1/8, and the channel length is L=5H. Different flow regimes develop in the channel due the interaction between the two mounted square bars, steady flow, flow with vortex shedding synchronization either in phase or in anti-phase, or biased flow with low frequency modulation of vortex shedding are found. Results show that the pressure drop increase and heat transfer enhancement are strongly dependent of the transverse separation distance of the bars and the channel Reynolds number.  相似文献

Over the last years, liquid-phase microextraction (LPME) in its different application modes (single drop microextraction, dispersive liquid-liquid microextraction and hollow fiber-LPME) has been increasingly applied for the extraction of both inorganic and organic analytes from different matrices. Its advantages over conventional extraction procedures (simplicity, effectiveness, rapidity and low consumption of organic solvents) has also attracted its application in the complex food analysis field, in which it has clearly provided good and challenging results. A comprehensive review dealing with those articles published since its introduction till the end of March 2011 is presented, offering also a critical vision of the analytical potential of LPME for the analysis of foods.  相似文献

Investigations into a slender system subjected to Beck's generalized load taking into account two rotational springs situated at each end of the system are presented in the paper. One spring models the finite rigidity of the mounting, while the second restricts the rotation of the loaded end of the system. The regions of divergence and flutter instability of the considered system were determined using the kinetic criterion of the stability. The boundary value of the rigidity of the spring situated at the loaded end of the column was also determined. The boundary value of the rigidity separates the regions of divergence and flutter instability. In respect of the problem of vibrations, the characteristic curves in the plane: load - natural frequency were presented. All computations were carried out using the parameters of the considered system, including the rigidity of the springs and the follower coefficient of the load.  相似文献

讨论和分析了当前高温分离式霍普金森压杆(SHPB)实验技术,为了获得材料在高温下可靠的动态力学性能,建立了一套在压杆和试件之间添加隔热陶瓷短杆的高温SHPB实验系统。相比于传统接触式高温SHPB方案,该系统可以使用在更高的冲击载荷和温度下,与机械对杆方案相比,实验装置及其控制要简便许多。结合有限元模拟,对陶瓷短杆及温度场对压杆中应力波传播的影响进行了相应的评估,并利用这套实验系统得到了800℃下HR2抗氢钢的动态压缩应力-应变曲线。  相似文献
