Nitrogen
adsorption measured at 77 K was used to characterize the surface heterogeneity
of high-temperature superconductor surfaces. Properties relating to adsorption
and porosity of the solids (adsorption capacity, specific surface area, radii
and volume of the pores, pore-size distribution function) were determined
from nitrogen adsorption–desorption isotherms and atomic force microscopy
(AFM) for a series of oxide superconductors. It is shown that the adsorption
isotherms of all samples are S-shaped and belong to type II according to the
IUPAC classification. On the basis of the nitrogen adsorption isotherms and
AFM data, fractal dimensions were determined and correlations found with adsorption

The 124 superconductor YBa2Cu4O8 was prepared from the oxalate precursor Y2(C2O4)3. ·4BaC2O4·8CuC2O4·xH2O at one atmosphere oxygen pressure. In O2 the precursor decomposes in one step at 300°C and more gradually (300°–600°C) in Ar. The stability of the superconductor is strongly dependent on the gas atmosphere: in O2 and in air there is no significant weight change as long as the temperature does not exceed 800°C, whereas in a 1% O2-99%N2 mixture decomposition starts at about 670°C with the formation of CuO and YBa2Cu3Ox withx<7. The reduction of YBa2Cu4O8 in a 5% H2-95% Ar mixture takes place in at least four major steps with formation of products such as Y2O3, BaO, Cu2O, Cu, BaY2O4 and Ba4Y2O7. 相似文献

Based on Ginzburg-Landau theory, we study the temperature dependence of upper critical field and London penetration depth for the superconducting crystal Lu2Fe3Si5. All the results fit the experimental data well. We also indicate that the larger gap opens in the quasi-one-dimensional part of Fermi surfaces. 相似文献

We have studied the tunneling conductance in ferromagnet/insulator/p-wave superconductor junctions, taking into account the
rough interface scattering effect. We find that there exist zero-bias conductance peaks and single-minimum structure in tunneling
spectroscopy. As the exchange energy increases, the Andreev reflection is always suppressed and the differential conductance
decreases. The differential conductance depends on the barrier strength and the roughness at the interface.

The influence of irradiation by electrons with an energy of 8 MeV, at dose intervals between 1013 and 2×1018el/cm2, on the properties of impurity doped, high-temperature superconductor YBa2Cu3−x

It has been established that, as the irradiation dose is increased, the onset temperature of the transition to the superconducting
state (T
c
on
), and the intergranular weak link coupling temperature between granules (T
m
J
), exhibit an oscillation around their initial values of approximately about 1–1.5 K. This oscillation indicates that the
process of radiation defect formation in HTSC occurs in multiple stages. It was also found that the critical current (J
c
)decreases with an increase of the irradiation dose, and exhibits a local minimum at a dose of 8×1016el/cm2coinciding with minima for T
c
on
and T
m
J
at this dose. It was found that the introduction of Fe atoms to the ceramic decreases T
m
J
, while introducing Ni atoms decreases both T
c
on
and T
m
J
; it is suggested that this is a result of Ni substitution of Cu both in Cu2 plane sites and Cu1 chain sites. The introduction
of Ni causes a large change in the intergranular critical current density, J
c
. A critical irradiation dose is obtained (2×1018)after which all HTSC parameters strongly decrease, i. e. the superconductivity of HTSC is destroyed.

从二维系统的Kosterlitz-Thouless (KT) 相变理论出发,在关联长度中引入热激活能和平均钉扎高度,提出了修正的KT相变模型.该模型与库伦气体标度理论和Halperin-Nelson关系具有一致性.应用修正的KT相变模型研究磁场下Tl2Ba2CaCu2Ox(Tl-2212)薄膜电阻转变的标度行为,发现由电阻转变计算得到的平均钉扎高度与温度具有线性依赖关系,实验结果支持修正的KT相变模型.
