A comparative study of molecular structures of five L ‐proline (L ‐Pro) phosphonodipeptides: L ‐Pro‐NH‐C(Me,Me)‐PO3H2 (P1), L ‐Pro‐NH‐C(Me,iPr)‐PO3H2 (P2), L ‐Pro‐L ‐NH‐CH(iBu)‐PO3H2 (P3), L ‐Pro‐L ‐NH‐CH(PA)‐PO3H2 (P4) and L ‐Pro‐L ‐NH‐CH(BA)‐PO3H2 (P5) has been carried out using Raman and absorption infrared techniques of molecular spectroscopy. The interpretation of the obtained spectra has been supported by density functional theory calculations (DFT) at the B3LYP; 6–31 + + G** level using Gaussian 2003 software. The surface‐enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) on Ag‐sol in aqueous solutions of these phosphonopeptides has also been investigated. The surface geometry of these molecules on a silver colloidal surface has been determined by observing the position and relative intensity changes of the Pro ring, amide, phosphonate and so‐called spacer (−R) groups vibrations of the enhanced bands in their SERS spectra. Results show that P4 and P5 adsorb onto the silver as anionic molecules mainly via the amide bond (∼1630, ∼1533, ∼1248, ∼800 and ∼565 cm−1), Pro ring (∼956, ∼907 and ∼876 cm−1) and carboxylate group (∼1395 and ∼909 cm−1). Coadsorption of the imine nitrogen atom and PO group with the silver surface, possibly by formation of a weaker interaction with the metal, is also suggested by the enhancement of the bands at 1158 and 1248 cm−1. P1, P2 and P3 show two orientations of their main chain on the silver surface resulting from different interactions of the C CH3, NH and CONH fragments with this surface. Bonding to the Ag surface occurs mainly through the imino atom (1166 cm−1) for P2, while for P1 and P3 it occurs via the methyl group(s) (1194–1208 cm−1). The amide group functionality (CONH) is practically not involved in the adsorption process for P1 and P2, whereas the Cs P bonds do assist in the adsorption. We propose two schemes for quantum information splitting via W-class state. The first scheme is based on the interaction of single atom with single-mode field, while the second scheme is based on the simultaneous interaction of two atoms with single-mode cavity. For the first scheme, the difIiculty of two atoms required to be simultaneously sent through one cavity is avoid. For the second scheme, it is immune to thermal field. To illustrate the attractive potentials of remote-excitation surface enhanced Raman scattering (RE-SERS), we review the fundamental concepts and typical applications of propagating surface plasmon polaritons (PSPPs). Based on the RE-SERS technic, the adsorbed molecules are protected from being directly illuminated, while the merits of SERS still remained. However, the critical limitations of applying RE-SERS hinder its rapid development. Hence, drawing an overview about the PSPPs would be beneficial for further promoting the significance of RE-SERS in biological application and investigating the mechanism of surface catalytic reactions. 相似文献

A model is presented for the scattering of ultrasonic waves from smooth and randomly rough defects. The model uses Kirchhoff theory and is elastic, such that mode-conversion between compressional and shear waves is included in the formulation. The model is designed to simulate ultrasonic non-destructive testing situations, by specifying the location and orientation of a defect within an isotropic material, together with transmitter and receiver locations on an inspection surface. Results are presented for the scattering of both monochromatic waves and of pulses. It is shown how small levels of roughness can affect echodynamic curves and how diffracted signals may become lost due to scatter from the rough faces of defects. It is also shown that the usual rules for coupling between waves of all three modes no longer hold when roughness is present. In particular, roughness leads to coupling between horizontally polarized shear (SH) waves and the other two wave modes. The model predictions are also compared with an earlier acoustic model, indicating the importance of mode-conversion effects when considering rough defects embedded within solids. 相似文献

and potent dosage form. However, there is dearth of scientific analytical studies carried out on these products, and even
the existing ones suffer from incomplete analysis. Jasada Bhasma is a unique preparation of zinc belonging to this class. This particular preparation has been successfully used by traditional
practitioners for the treatment of diabetes and age-related eye diseases. This work presents a first comprehensive physicochemical
characterization of Jasada Bhasma using modern state-of-the-art techniques such as X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), inductively coupled plasma (ICP),
elemental analysis with energy dispersive X-ray analysis (EDAX), dynamic light scattering (DLS), and transmission electron
microscopy (TEM). Our analysis shows that the Jasada Bhasma particles are in oxygen deficient state and a clearly identifiable fraction of particles are in the nanometer size range.
These properties like oxygen deficiency and nanosize particles in Jasada Bhasma might impart the therapeutic property of this particular type of medicine.

The theory is presented for one method of determining the effective polarization parameters of the rain medium in the problem of polarization information processing of detecting target. The determination of the effective polarization parameters of the propagation medium is from the data of propagation measurements over a line-of-sight link.
