In the back-end of the nuclear fuel cycle, liquid–liquid extraction is the selected separation method. For an improved design of new extracting agent, the knowledge of the coordination polyhedra of the metal ions is important. In this paper, we investigated the coordination sphere of a series of uranyl complexes with selected organophosphorus extracting molecules: UO2(NO3)2L2 (with L=tri-iso-butylphosphate, tri-n-butylphosphate, trimethylphosphate and triphenylphosphate) using X-ray absorption spectroscopy. FEFF7 calculations of the EXAFS spectra corresponding to the model compound UO2(NO3)2(TiBP)2 (with TiBP=tri-iso-butylphosphate) for which the crystal structure is known led to a multiple scattering approach of the data fitting. EXAFS results show subtle U–O(P) bond distance differences between the different complexes that are discussed in terms of both electronic and steric effects of L. These results are discussed with regards to the extraction ability of L. In the same time, exploratory work has been attempted in order to evaluate U–O–P bond angle variations as a function of L using multiple photon-scattering paths. Satisfactory values have been obtained compared to the crystallographic data.  相似文献

Recent knowledge of the kinetics and intercalation mechanisms are summarized and accompanied by examples of intercalation reactions of water and ethanol into anhydrous vanadyl phosphate and redox intercalation of alkali metal cations into vanadyl phosphate dihydrate. Three possible mechanisms of intercalation are presented which are based on: (i) a concept of exfoliation of layers; (ii) the formation of stages and randomly stacked layers; (iii) co-existence of intercalated and non-intercalated parts of crystals of the host separated by an advancing phase boundary. The intercalation of some amines (aniline, benzylamine, cyclohexylamine,piperidine, pyridine, pyrazine and piperazine) into -titaniumphosphate, Ti(HPO4)H2O,has been investigated by the batch method and/or by exposing the host to thevapour of the amines. The changes in the interlayer distance of the solidduring the intercalation process was followed by X-ray powder diffraction.The new intercalates were characterised by chemical and thermal analysis.Materials with a monolaminar and/or bilaminar arrangement of amine moleculesin the phosphate interlayer region are obtained depending on the nature ofthe amine. Due to steric hindrance, saturated phases are not obtained forall amines studied. The thermal decomposition of the intercalates (nitrogenatmosphere), takes place in three stages: dehydration, removal of amines andcondensation of the hydrogenphosphate to pyrophosphate groups.  相似文献

A combined method for determination of the standard enthalpies of formation of nitroform and its salts was proposed. The enthalpies of dissolution of nitroform and its ammonium, hydrazinium, guanidinium, and potassium salts in water were measured. The enthalpy of combustion of hydrazinium salt of nitroform was determined by a combustion calorimetry, and its standard enthalpy of formation was calculated. The enthalpy of formation of trinitromethyl anion in indefinitely diluted aqueous solution −24.94±0.79 kJ mol−1, was calculated on the basic of the data obtained for enthalpies of formation and dissolution of ammonium and hydrazinium salts of nitroform. Sodium zirconium phosphate [NaZr2P3O12], a potential ceramic matrix for fixation of high level nuclear waste, was synthesized by heating the mixture of sodium carbonate [Na2CO3], zirconyl nitrate hydrate [ZrO(NO3)2·5H2O] and ammonium dihydrogen phosphate [NH4H2PO4] in air, in a resistance heated furnace and a microwave heating system respectively in the temperature range 450 to 650°C. The mixture heated for 1 h in a resistance furnace at 450°C yielded a poorly crystalline NaZr2P3O12 [NZP]. Increasing the temperature to 650°C produced a highly crystalline product. The same mixture heated in a microwave oven at 450°C for 1 h however, yielded the most crystalline NZP.In an alternate method, the mixture of sodium dihydrogen phosphate (NaH2PO4), zirconium dioxide (ZrO2) and diammonium hydrogen phosphate [(NH4)2HPO4] heated in resistance furnace at 650°C for the same period did not react in air. An optimised gram scale synthesis allows the production of 1-deoxy-d-xylulose and 1-deoxy-d-xylulose 5-phosphate with possible deuterium labelling at C-5. Such substrates are required for investigations on the mevalonate-independent 2-C-methyl-d-erythritol 4-phosphate pathway for isoprenoid biosynthesis in bacteria and chloroplasts of phototrophic eukaryotes and for the biosynthesis of vitamins B1 (thiamine diphosphate) and B6 (pyridoxol phosphate) in bacteria.  相似文献

Struvite (NH4MgPO4·6H2O) is a mineral often found in urinary tracts and kidneys. Thermal decomposition using slow low heating shows that the 'kidney' stone can be decomposed at temperatures below 40°C. At this temperature both ammonia and water are evolved. If more rapid heating is employed the decomposition occurs at around 80°C. The implication of this work rests with the use of low slow heat for the decomposition of the kidney stones. The results of conductance measurements on pyridinium picrate, tetraphenylo-sonium picrate, potassium picrate, tetraphenylantimony picrate, tetrapropylam-monium, tetrafluoroborate, tetramethylammonium hexafluorophosphate ion association noncoulombic interaction in dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) at 25°C in the concentration range 1–15×10–4 M are reported. The data were analyzed by the Justice modification of the Fuoss–Hsia equation. Except for pyridinium picrate all salts studied were found to be associated.Application of the Justice Barthel–Bjerrum model of ion association permitted calculation of the noncoulombic portion of the potential of mean force, W ±. Ionic limiting conductances were calculated for six ions using known values of previously determined transport numbers. A table of most current limiting ionic conductances for a variety of ions in DMSO at 25°C has been established.  相似文献

采用等体积分步浸渍法制备了不同K2O含量的K-Cr2O3/Al2O3催化剂,并用BET、XPS、UV-Vis、H2-TPR、NH3-TPD和TG等技术对催化剂进行了表征,考察了催化剂对二异丁烯(2,4,4-三甲基戊烯)脱氢环化为对二甲苯的催化性能.结果表明,K不仅可以降低氧化铝载体的酸性,而且促进了活性组分Cr在载体表面的分散.K2O含量为1.5%时,催化剂的脱氢环化性能达到最佳.  相似文献

The crystal structure of the product of the condensation of (salicylideneamino)nitroguanidine with salicylaldehyde on a Ni2+ ion template, K[Ni(C15H10N5O4)] · DMF, has been studied. It was established that a planar Ni complex, consisting of isolated [NiL] anions and solvated [K+ · DMF] cations, is formed. The negative charge of the anion is localized mainly on the O atoms of the nitro group.
