采用凝胶-燃烧法制备了稀土Eu3+掺杂的LaMgAl11O19红色荧光粉的前驱粉末,在低于700℃退火处理时,得到非晶态样品,而高于850℃退火处理后为单一六方相结构LaMgAl11O19:Eu3+样品.SEM结果表明,该法制备的样品为颗粒分布均匀,粒径在200~400nm之间的超细粉末.通过激发光谱和发射光谱研究了Eu3+在LaMgAl11O19基质中的发光性能,结果显示,非晶态和晶态La1-xMgAl11O19:xEu3+样品都可发光,在613nm波长光的监测下所得荧光粉的激发光谱为一宽带和系列锐峰,其最强激发峰出现在蓝光465nm处,次强峰为394nm,表明该荧光粉与广泛使用的紫外和蓝光LED芯片的输出波长相匹配.在465nm波长光的激发下观察到超细LaMgAl11O19粉末中Eu3+的613nm(5D0→7F2)强的特征发射,且随着粉末逐渐成相5D0→7F2跃迁明显增强,说明LaMgAl11O19:Eu3+超细粉末可作为白光LED的红色补偿荧光粉.  相似文献

Solid solutions of Eu3+-doped metal tungstate and molybdate phosphors were synthesized by solid-state reactions. The crystal structure of the solid-solution phosphors was determined to be tetragonal with a space group of I41/c. The red-emitting solid-solution phosphors exhibited a broad absorption band in the range 220-340 nm and sharp excitation peaks in the near UV to green region. The emission intensities of the solid-solution phosphors were enhanced due to the stiff lattices, as a result of the ordered distribution of cations and anions according to differences in ionic size. The increase in the energy transfer is discussed in terms of metal-ligand distances, ionization potential of Mo and the relatively large overlap between the excitation and emission spectra. Such solid-solution phosphors with a bright red emission intensity, relatively short decay time and appropriate color chromaticity have potential for use as red-emitting materials for white LEDs.  相似文献

Photoluminescence and lifetime decay properties of varied valence Eu were employed to investigate the luminescence mechanism of green-light emission positioned at ∼515 nm for full color emission LaAlO3 phosphor co-doped with Eu2+ and Eu3+. The enhanced 5D27F3 transition emission of Eu3+ was assigned for this green emission. Energy transfer between Eu2+ and 5D2 level of Eu3+ was proposed, which results in the enhancement of 5D27F3 transition emission. In addition, energy transfer relations between host-Eu and charge transfer state (CTS)-Eu were also discussed associated with the PLE spectra and band schemes.  相似文献

A comparative study of the luminescent properties of Y2O3:Eu3+ phosphor powders and thin films sputtered from targets prepared from combustion synthesized powders is reported. Thin films of (Y0.96Eu0.04)2O3 were deposited on silicon substrates. Films deposited at 600 °C had both monoclinic and cubic phases of Y2O3, which developed to an oriented cubic phase after annealing. Films and powders showed a linear dependence of the intensity of the 5D77F2 (611 nm) transition with temperature in the range 26-660 °C with an average rate of change of 1.8×10−4 °C−1. The rate of change appears to be dependent on the Eu3+ concentration. This work shows that these thin films can be used as thermographic phosphors for remote temperature measurements.  相似文献

Luminescence efficiency of self-activated CaWO4 under 147 nm vacuum ultraviolet (VUV) radiation excitation is about 90% of that of BaMgAl10O17:Eu2+ (BAM), the commercial blue plasma display panel (PDP) phosphor. However, the color purity and the particle size of the former needs substantial modification before it can be considered for application in PDP. CaWO4:Tm exhibits Tm3+ emission peaks in the blue region due to energy transfer from WO4 to Tm3+ ions but the overall emission intensity under 147 nm excitation is reduced when compared to that of CaWO4.  相似文献

A blue-white emitting Sr2CeO4 phosphor was synthesized via a simple sol-gel poly vinyl alcohol (PVA)-complexing process using strontium nitrate and cerium nitrate as raw materials. The samples were characterized by TG/DTA, XRD, FTIR, SEM and photoluminescence spectroscopy. The X-ray diffraction study confirms the structure of the system to be orthorhombic. The emission spectra when excited at 267 nm peaks at ∼470 nm. The emission band is assigned to the energy transfer between the molecular orbital of the ligand and charge transfer state of the Ce4+ ion. The Commission International de l'Eclairage (CIE) co-ordinates for the Sr2CeO4 sample were also calculated.  相似文献

Spherical SrTiO3:Pr3+,Al3+ phosphor with high crystallinity and uniform particle size distribution was formed from the glycolate precursor. The glycolate precursor was obtained by heating the mixed solution of metallic nitrates and titanium oxychloride in ethylene glycol up to 200 °C. The thermal decomposition of the glycolate precursor proceeded through three major stages, i.e., (i) evolution of glycols (∼200 °C), (ii) decomposition of glycolate precursor, and (iii) decomposition of strontium carbonate and crystallization of SrTiO3:Pr3+,Al3+ phosphor.SrTiO3:Pr3+,Al3+ phosphor exhibited a strong red emission, peaking at about 617 nm. SrTiO3:Pr3+,Al3+ phosphor obtained from the glycolate complex has higher luminescent properties than the conventional solid state reaction and the Pechini method in terms of photoluminescence (PL) and cathodoluminescence (CL). High crystallinity, low residual carbon content and small grain size with uniform shape would enhance the luminescence intensity of phosphor by the glycolate method due to high surface area per unit volume and low organic content compared with the Pechini method. Also, Al3+ ion is more effective than Ga3+ ion to enhance PL intensity of SrTiO3:Pr3+,Al3+ phosphor because of smaller Al3+ ion radius. Therefore, the glycolate method has been demonstrated to be a convenient and unique process for the production of muticomponent oxide with smaller grain size and higher crystallinity compared with the conventional mixed oxide reaction and the polymer precursor method.  相似文献

Low-pressure mercury lamps are commonly used for germicidal applications such as water and wastewater sterilisation. The germicidal effect is due to the emission of light at 254 nm, which leads to the destruction of most waterborne bacteria. The Microwave plasma ultraviolet lamp (MPUVL) is a new technology for generating a high intensity ultraviolet (UV) light. A Fluorescent optical fiber based sensor is presented which is used for monitoring the output of a high power microwave UV light source and its control. This sensor is a fiber which has had its cladding removed and been coated with a phosphor doped polymer.
