The curing kinetics of films produced from compositions based on UV-curable oligourethaneacrylates is investigated using, as a source of radiation, an individual spectral line separated by a monochromator from the radiation of a DRT-400 mercury tubular lamp. It has been established that in the region of spectral sensitivity of the composition, the curing time of the film is inversely proportional to the intensity of volumetric absorption of the radiation-source photons by the initiator at the lower surface of the film under study. Individual contributions of some of the lines to the process of composition curing by using the integral spectrum of the radiation source have been evaluated. In this study, a diffusion-type device for generating gaseous mercuric chloride (HgCl2) was systematically evaluated and applied to validate the annular denuder method for sampling gaseous HgCl2 species in a synthetic gas stream. The results show that it takes at least 48 h for the system to reach a steady-state condition after the diffusion cell reaches the temperature set-point and the carrier gas is activated. The primary Hg species from the source was proven to be HgCl2. In the temperature range from –5.00 to 11.80 °C, the Hg emission rates from the source vary from 1.8 to 14.2 pg min–1. It is shown that, under the experimental conditions examined, KCl-coated annular quartz denuders designed for ambient reactive gaseous mercury (RGM) collection could quantitatively collect HgCl2. It is also demonstrated that the impactors used to remove coarse airborne particulate matter could lead to a loss of up to one third of the HgCl2 in the gas stream. 相似文献

Two different approaches for the modification of glassy carbon electrodes using a mercury film and mercury-nafion are compared.
The mixture of mercury(II) chloride solution with a nafion solution diluted in ethanol is used to coat the polished glassy
carbon surface. The modified working electrodes are compared when measuring Pb and Cu in real seawater samples. An optimisation
of the parameters during the formation of the films was done to obtain well-defined stripping peaks. The type of inert supporting
electrolyte and the pH play an important role on the sensitivity of the measurement. Results for Pb and Cu determinations
show the advantages of Hg-nafion modification as an alternative method. These advantages include a shorter modification time,
the avoidance of Hg solutions during the formation of the Hg film and an improved sensitivity for Pb determination.

A new carbon‐based mercury thin‐film electrode consisting of screen‐printed carbon on a low temperature co‐fired ceramic substrate was made. Ex‐situ mercury deposition in a potassium thiocyanate solution was used. This approach an electrode with high long‐term stability (>500 measurement cycles) and reproducibility (≤2 %) for sensitive determination of ultra trace heavy metals, using differential pulse anodic stripping voltammetry. The detection limits were 0.25, 0.08 and 5.5 ng mL?1 for Cd(II), Pb(II), and Zn(II), respectively. The method was applied to the determination of the analytes in water, wastewater, lake water, and certified reference material samples with satisfactory results. 相似文献
