Consider K ≥ 2 independent copies of the random walk on the symmetric group SN starting from the identity and generated by the products of either independent uniform transpositions or independent uniform neighbor transpositions. At any time $n\in \mathbb{N}$, let Gn be the subgroup of SN generated by the K positions of the chains. In the uniform transposition model, we prove that there is a cut‐off phenomenon at time N ln(N)/(2K) for the non‐existence of fixed point of Gn and for the transitivity of Gn, thus showing that these properties occur before the chains have reached equilibrium. In the uniform neighbor transposition model, a transition for the non‐existence of a fixed point of Gn appears at time of order $N^{1+\frac{2}{K}}$ (at least for K ≥ 3), but there is no cut‐off phenomenon. In the latter model, we recover a cut‐off phenomenon for the non‐existence of a fixed point at a time proportional to N by allowing the number K to be proportional to ln(N). We have investigated the performance of a graphite–boron composite (GBC) with 3?wt % boron as a precursor for a boron-doped diamond heater in a Kawai-type apparatus at 15?GPa. We first tested a machinable cylinder of GBC sintered at 1000°C in Ar/H2 gas (99:1 molar ratio). Boron oxide (B2O3) formed during sintering frequently hindered the GBC heater from stable operation at temperatures higher than 1400°C by producing melt throughout the heater together with oxide and/or silicates. We then rinsed the GBC heater in hydrochloric acid to remove B2O3. After rinsing, we succeeded in stably generating temperatures higher than 2000°C. We also improved a molding process of different-sized GBC tubes for convenient use and tested the molded GBC heater. It was free from the B2O3 problem. The electromotive force of the W/Re thermocouple was successfully monitored up to 2400°C.  相似文献

In this work we have investigated the changes of the magnetic properties of highly oriented pyrolytic graphite samples after irradiation either with ~3×1014 protons or 3.5×1013 ... 3.5×1014 iron ions with energies in the MeV range. Our results show that iron and proton irradiations can produce similar paramagnetic contributions depending on the implantation temperature. However, only protons induce a ferromagnetic effect.  相似文献

Current mixed-integer linear programming solvers are based on linear programming routines that use floating-point arithmetic. Occasionally, this leads to wrong solutions, even for problems where all coefficients and all solution components are small integers. An example is given where many state-of-the-art MILP solvers fail. It is then shown how, using directed rounding and interval arithmetic, cheap pre- and postprocessing of the linear programs arising in a branch-and-cut framework can guarantee that no solution is lost, at least for mixed-integer programs in which all variables can be bounded rigorously by bounds of reasonable size. The attractive features of a boron-doped diamond (BDD) thin-film detector for microchip capillary electrophoretic (CE) separations of dye-related amino-substituted aromatic compounds are described. The diamond electrode was employed in the end-column amperometric detection of 4-aminophenol (4-AP), 1,2-phenylenediamine (1,2-PDA), 2-aminonaphthalene (2-AN), 2-chloroaniline (2-CA), and o-aminobenzoic acid (o-ABA), and its attractive behavior was compared to commonly used screen-printed carbon and glassy-carbon electrodes. These conventional electrode materials exhibit a significant degree of passivation and low sensitivity to the above-mentioned environmental pollutants. The diamond-based electrochemical detection system displayed a favorable analytical performance, including lower noise levels, higher peak resolution with enhanced sensitivity, and improved resistance against electrode passivation. Factors influencing the on-chip analysis were assessed and optimized. The diamond detector displayed detection limits of 2.0 and 1.3 microM for 4-AP and 2-AN, respectively, and a wide linear response for these compounds over the 2-50 microM range. The enhanced stability was demonstrated by relative standard deviation (RSD) values of 1.4% and 4.7% for 100 microM 1,2-PDA and 200 microM 2-CA, respectively, for repetitive detections (n = 7). Besides, the simultaneously observed current decrease was 2.4 and 9.1% for 1,2-PDA and 2-CA, respectively (compared to 21.8 and 41.0% at the screen-printed carbon electrode and 28.3 and 34.1% at the glassy carbon electrode, respectively). The favorable properties of the diamond electrode indicate great promise for environmental applications in CE and other microchip devices.  相似文献

借助于Tersoff势函数和分子动力学模拟技术研究了室温下500eV的能量粒子硼(4个)和氮(8个)共掺入金刚石晶体中所引起的损伤区域内晶体微细观结构的变化特征以及后续加热退火晶体结构的演变特征.结果表明:随着掺入原子数目的增加,受影响的区域范围渐渐增大,12个粒子全部注入金刚石晶体后局部影响区域的半径达0.68nm,损伤区域中心的三配位原子数增加而四配位数原子数量减少.加热退火过程中损伤中心区域的原子发生扩散,部分原子的扩散距离达到4个晶格间距.加热退火使损伤区域中心原子间的平均键长趋于金刚石结构的键长.退火后薄膜中注入的杂质原子向表面扩散引起应力分布产生变化,杂质原子经过一系列的扩散过程能够到达空位的位置,减少薄膜中空位数量,减小晶格畸变程度,原子向表面扩散引起应力产生重新分布,薄膜中应力峰值的峰位向薄膜表面发生移动,局部应力集中程度降低.通过不同退火温度的比较发现低温下退火(800℃)更有利于空位的运动和晶格损伤的恢复从而提高晶格质量. 关键词: 金刚石共掺杂 分子动力学 退火  相似文献

利用密度泛函理论(DFT)对碳原子在镍(111)表面吸附结构进行了计算,得到了吸附能以及态密度 (density of state, DOS)分布,分析了吸附在镍(111)面的碳原子和金刚石(111)面的碳原子的分波态密度(PDOS),结果表明吸附在镍表面的碳原子具有与金刚石表面碳原子相类似的电子结构特点,即两者都存在孤对的和成键的sp3杂化电子,进而发现吸附在镍表面的碳原子极易与金刚石表面相互作用形成稳定的类金刚石几何结构. 关键词: 密度泛函理论 化学吸附 电子结构 金刚石生长  相似文献

Diamond film was deposited in CH4 and H2 gas mixture with a small amount of N2 by microwave plasma assisted chemical vapor deposition (MPCVD). Scanning electron microscopy, Raman spectroscopy and transmission electron microscopy were applied to characterize the film. The results showed that the growth of grains are different the central region and the edge. In the central region, diamond grains nucleated with a density as high as 4.8×108 cm-2 and were preferential in 〈001〉 orientation. The inner grains formed an area without stacking faults,which was surrounded by a rim with a high density of stacking faults. A growth model was suggested to interpret the morphological feature and the behavior of preferential growth. At the edge, the grains were identified to be 6H polytypes of diamond and a new twin relationship of grains was found. Besides, the effect of the N dopant on the growth behavior of the diamond film deposited by MPCVD was discussed in connection with the growth rate of the film. 关键词: 金刚石 结构表征 透射电子显微镜 多型金刚石  相似文献

通过实验测量和理论分析, 从载流子动力学角度研究了用于脉冲辐射探测的CVD金刚石薄膜探测器的适用结构、电荷收集效率和时间响应性能. 结果表明, CVD金刚石薄膜可以制成均匀型结构的探测器; 薄膜中的缺陷会降低探测器的电荷收集效率, 探测器的电荷收集效率随场强增大而增大直至饱和. 已研制的CVD金刚石探测器电荷收集时间可达719ps, 在2.5V/μm场强下达到饱和, 电荷收集效率 达60.5%; 晶格散射是影响探测器时间响应的主要因素, 选用大晶粒甚至单晶金刚石薄膜可以提高探测器时间响应.  相似文献
