With the aid of computations and experiments, the detailed mechanism of the phosphine-catalyzed [3+2] cycloaddition reactions of allenoates and electron-deficient alkenes has been investigated. It was found that this reaction includes four consecutive processes: 1) In situ generation of a 1,3-dipole from allenoate and phosphine, 2) stepwise [3+2] cycloaddition, 3) a water-catalyzed [1,2]-hydrogen shift, and 4) elimination of the phosphine catalyst. In situ generation of the 1,3-dipole is key to all nucleophilic phosphine-catalyzed reactions. Through a kinetic study we have shown that the generation of the 1,3-dipole is the rate-determining step of the phosphine-catalyzed [3+2] cycloaddition reaction of allenoates and electron-deficient alkenes. DFT calculations and FMO analysis revealed that an electron-withdrawing group is required in the allene to ensure the generation of the 1,3-dipole kinetically and thermodynamically. Atoms-in-molecules (AIM) theory was used to analyze the stability of the 1,3-dipole. The regioselectivity of the [3+2] cycloaddition can be rationalized very well by FMO and AIM theories. Isotopic labeling experiments combined with DFT calculations showed that the commonly accepted intramolecular [1,2]-proton shift should be corrected to a water-catalyzed [1,2]-proton shift. Additional isotopic labeling experiments of the hetero-[3+2] cycloaddition of allenoates and electron-deficient imines further support this finding. This investigation has also been extended to the study of the phosphine-catalyzed [3+2] cycloaddition reaction of alkynoates as the three-carbon synthon, which showed that the generation of the 1,3-dipole in this reaction also occurs by a water-catalyzed process.  相似文献

Reactions of sodium 5-[(E)-2-(aryl)-1-diazenyl]quinolin-8-olates (LH, where the aryl group is an R-substituted phenyl ring such that for L1H: R = H; L2H: R = 2′-CH3; L3H: R = 3′-CH3; L4H: R = 4′-CH3; L5H: R = 4′-OCH3 and L6H: R = 4′-OC2H5) with Ph3SnCl in a 1:1 molar ratio yielded complexes of composition Ph3SnL. The complexes have been characterized by 1H, 13C, 119Sn NMR, IR and 119mSn Mössbauer spectroscopic techniques in combination with elemental analyses. The crystal structures of Ph3SnL1 · 0.5C6H6 (1), Ph3SnL2 (2), Ph3SnL5 · C6H6 (5) and Ph3SnL6 · 0.5C6H6 (6) were determined. The results of the X-ray studies indicated that the benzene solvated compounds 1, 5 and 6 are distorted square pyramid, with one of the phenyl C atoms in the apex while the ligand arrangement around central Sn atom in 2 is distorted trigonal-bipyramidal, with a phenyl C and the oxinato N atoms in axial positions.  相似文献

A Stille coupling reaction of organostannanes with organic halides has been developed in the presence of a catalytic amount of MCM-41-supported bidentate phosphine palladium(0) complex (0.5 mol %) in DMF/H2O (9:1) under air atmosphere in high yields. This polymeric palladium catalyst exhibits higher activity than Pd(PPh3)4 and can be reused at least 10 times without any decrease in activity.  相似文献

A novel bisupported bimetal catalyst PVP-PdCl2-FeSO4/Al-Mont-PEG600 was prepared by immobilization of PVP (poly (N-vinyl-2-pyrrolidone)) supported bimetallic catalyst using alumina pillared inartificial montmorillonite as the carrier. This catalyst has good dehalogenation activity and selectivity to aryl halides-o-chlorotoluene in aqueous system in the presence of phase transfer catalyst (PEG) and sodium formate as hydrogen source. We report the cycloaddition between vinyl aziridines and arynes. Depending on the reaction conditions and the choice of the aryne precursor, the aziridinium intermediate can be trapped through two distinct mechanistic pathways. The first one proceeds through a formal [5+2] cycloaddition to furnish valuable multi-substituted benzazepines. In the second pathway, the aziridinium is intercepted by a fluoride ion to afford allylic fluorides in good yields. Both reactions proceed stereospecifically and furnish enantiopure benzazepines and allylic fluorides.  相似文献

A method for the nucleophilic fluorination of heptamethyl aryl trisiloxanes to form fluoroarenes is reported. The reaction proceeds in the presence of Cu(OTf)2 and KHF2 as the fluoride source under mild conditions for a broad range of heptamethyltrisiloxyarenes with high functional group tolerance. The combination of this method with the silylation of aryl C−H bonds enables the regioselective fluorination of non-activated arenes controlled by steric effects following a two-step protocol.  相似文献
