Syntheses and Crystal Structures of Some CCo3 Clusters Containing PPh3 or dppm Ligands

Molecular structural determinations are reported for six Co₃C carbonyl cluster complexes containing tertiary phosphines, which have been isolated as by-products from a variety of reactions. Structural features are similar to those of related complexes already reported. Some discussion of apparent orientational preferences of the CH₂ group of dppm ligands, which appear to enter into H-bonding interactions with amido or carboxylate substituents, is given. Appropriate comparisons are made with unsubstituted analogues.     

树枝形聚合物修饰的双8-羟基喹啉光物理研究

研究了树枝形聚合物修饰的双8-羟基喹啉衍生物(Gn-QMQ, n=1~3)在二氯甲烷和乙腈中的荧光猝灭过程和荧光衰减过程. 随着代数n的增加, 猝灭速率常数减小, 核心双8-羟基喹啉基团荧光寿命增长, 非辐射失活速率常数减小. 研究结果表明, 随着代数的增加, 树枝形骨架对核心基团的位点分离作用增大, 在乙腈中树枝形骨架趋于紧密构象, 具有更强的位点分离作用.     

SYNTHESIS AND CHARACTERIZATION OF PHTHALAZINONE POLY(ARYL ETHER SULFONE KETONE)WITH CARBONYL GROUP*

A kind of novel heat-resistant, high performance engineering thermoplastic phthalazinone poly(aryl ether sulfoneketone) (PPESK) containing a carboxyl group in its side chain was prepared by the nucleophilic displacement reaction of 4-(4-hydroxylphenyl)-1(2H)-phthalazinone with di(4-chlorophenyl) sulfone, 4,4'-difluoro-benzophenone and phenolphthalin insulfolane in the presence of K_2CO_3 to produce high molecular weight polymers which can be dissolved in some polarsolvents such as chloroform and nitrobenzene at room temperature and can be easily can into flexible, yellowish andtransparent films. PPESK is an amorphous polymer having a decomposition temperature above 400℃, which indicates that ithas high thermal stability. At the same time, the thermal properties of PPESKs with dicyandiamide (DICY) as curing agentindicated that the heat-resistance properties of the PPESKs are improved after curing. The apparent activation energy (ΔE) ofthe cross-linking reaction and the reaction order (n) of PPESK/DICY were found to be 52.2 kJ/mol and ca. 1.0, respectively.Therefore, the cross-linking reaction is approximately a first order reaction.     

Effect of a Nickel Bipyridyl Complex on the Reduction of Organic Halides

Indirect reduction of 1-phenylethylbromide (I) and 1-(4-isobutylphenyl)ethylchloride (II) in a carbon dioxide atmosphere containing tris(2,2-bipyridyl)nickel tetrafluoroborate (BPN) is studied. In the reactions the BPN complex exhibits properties of a one-electron mediator and catalyzes radical generation from aryl halides, which mostly undergo dimerization. Electroreduction of I and II in the presence of -cyclodextrin and BPN yields biaryls with a low enanthioselectivity (1.5%), which may indicate generation of a small amount of inclusion complexes and dimerization of intermediate radicals in the hydrophobic cavity of -cyclodextrin.

Living and enantiomer-selective polymerization of allene initiated by Ni complex containing chiral phosphine

In the polymerization of chiral allene by using chiral phosphine complex, the polymerization rate of L-1 is approximately 1.9 times that of D-1. This catalyst has enantiomer-selectivity for the polymerization of chiral allene derivative monomer.     

FUNCTIONALIZED PHOSPHINES: SYNTHESIS,REACTIVITY AND TRANSITION METAL CHEMISTRY

Ten-membered heterocycles of the type PhN(PCl₂){OC₆H₂(R)₂ (μ-S(CH₂))((R)₂─C₆H₂O─)} (R = Me, ⁱPr or ^tBu) have been prepared and their transition metal chemistry is explored. Functionalised phosphines react with transition metals to give interesting metallacycles. Several Group 6, ruthenium, platinum metals and novel titanium(IV) metallacycles have been structurally characterized.     

A New Protocol for O-Methylation of Phenolic Compounds with Trimethyl Phosphite or Trimethyl Phosphate Under Solvent-Free Condition and Microwave Irradiation

A simple method for the preparation of industrially important alkyl aryl ethers is reported. Several phenolic compounds such as phenols, naphthols, and hydroxy coumarins were O-methylated with trimethyl phosphite or trimethyl phosphate under microwave irradiation and solvent-free condition in almost quantitative yields. Reaction of 2-naphthol with trimethyl phosphate gave mixture of 2-methoxynaphthalene and 1-methyl-2-methoxynaphthalene while the reaction with trimethyl phosphite gave mostly 2-methoxynaphthalene. This method is highly efficient for the methylating of phenolic compounds with very easy experimental procedure and environmental friendly conditions.     

NOUVELLE SYNTHÈSE DE [1,2-A]BENZIMIDAZOLO-1,3,5,2-TRIAZAPHOSPHORINES ET DE [1,2-A]BENZIMIDAZOLO-1,3,5,2- TRIAZAPHOSPHORINE-2-THIONES

The condensation of N₁-benzimidazolyl amidines 1 with tris(dimethy- lamino)phosphine leads to the corresponding [1,2a]Benzimidazolo-1,3,5,2-triazaphosphorines 3 . The N₂-phosphoroamidine intermediates 2′ are isolated and yielded the corresponding cyclic compounds 4 upon heating. The oxidation by sulfur of the compounds 3 gives the thiooxide derivatives 4 .

The structure of these compounds is unambiguously confirmed by IR, ¹H, ³¹P, and ¹³C NMR spectroscopy and by MS for some products.
