Effects of low-LET radiations on CR-39 track detector

The effects of Co-60 gamma-rays and about 25-MeV pulsed electrons have been investigated on CR-39 plastic nuclear track detector. The bulk etch rate was measured as a function of the absorbed dose under three different irradiation conditions; gamma-ray exposure in air at the dose rate of 6 kGy/h, that in vacuum and electron shower in air at 126 kGy/h on average. It was found that the bulk etch rate (V) increased nearly exponentially with the dose (D); V=V₀exp(kD), and the characteristic parameter (k) was 35, 9 and 12 MGy⁻¹, respectively. It is considered that a lack of oxygen in damage formation processes could occur momentarily during a short electron pulse, just similarly to the vacuum effect of reduction in track etch rates in outgassed CR-39 plastic.     

Evidence for superconductivity in fluorinated La2CuO4 at 35 K: Microwave investigations

In the fluorinated La₂CuO_4−x prepared using a solid state reaction with NH₄HF₂ as a fluorinating agent at 550 K at ambient pressure, superconductivity was detected by microwave and EPR techniques with aT _c of 35 K.     

Waveguide Dye Solution Lasers

Since the development of first lasers the possibility of light amplificatior and oscillation in waveguide structures has been investigated. Waveguide lasers have been constructed using a variety of lasing materials, either solid, gaseous, or liquid.     

EPR of Cu2+-doped tris-sarcosine calcium chloride

The EPR study of the Cu²⁺-doped tris-sarcosine calcium chloride (TSCC) at room temperature is reported. Two magnetically inequivalent sites for Cu²⁺ were observed. The rhombic spin Hamiltonian parameters are determined by fitting the EPR spectra for two centres: Cu²⁺(I) g₁ = 2.0276, g₂ = 2.0517, g₃ = 2.4019, A₁ = 82, A₂ = 128, A₃ = 152 [G] and Cu²⁺(II) g₁ = 2.0231, g₂ = 2.0368, g₃ = 2.5294, A₁ = 76, A₂ = 92, A₃ = 156 [G]. The ground state wave function is also determined. The g-anisotropy is evaluated and compared with the experimental value. Further, the optical study of the crystal at room temperature is carried out and the nature of bonding in the complex is discussed.     

Optical Properties of Gamma Irradiated Soda-Lime Silicate Glasses Exchanged with Copper

The effect of copper ion exchange upon the optical absorption and room temperature gamma colouration of soda lime silicate glasses has been investigated. After ion exchange performed at 720 K, copper ions substitute mainly the alkali ions and do modify the optical absorption spectra of the specimens. It has been shown that gamma irradiation does not induce the formation of colloidal copper. Moreover, the colouration process itself is independent of the presence of copper ions. The generated colour centres are rather related to the presence of sodium and potassium ions. The optical bleaching by the UV light occurs in two stages. First disappear centres related to the Na-type defects and next those related to the K-type defects.     

使用α粒子轰击天然镱靶制备~(178m2)Hf同质异能素及样品γ能谱分析

178m2Hf是一种长半衰期(T1/2=31 a)、高自旋态(Iπ=16+)的Hf同质异能素.利用四川大学CS-30回旋加速器产生的30 MeV,100μA的α束流轰击天然Yb靶,通过176Yb(α,2n)反应制备178m2Hf.采用高纯Ge探测器测量未提纯样品和放化分离后的样品的γ能谱,选取178m2Hf的426,495和574 keV三个特征峰,使用高斯双峰拟合方法解谱,确定了未提纯样品中178m2Hf的含量达到1012量级,提纯后的样品中178m2Hf含量为1011量级.还对靶中其他放射性杂质核素(175Hf,172Lu,172Hf,177Lu,173Lu)的含量进行了分析.     

Thermoelectric and dielectric investigations of the thermochromism of various na-acetylacetonate phases and intermediates

Sodium acetylacetonate was prepared by the interaction of sodium metal with acetylacetone. A fresh sample and various samples preheated at various temperatures were carefully prepared. Measurements were made by x-ray diffraction, IR absorption spectroscopy and differential thermal analysis (DTA). The temperature dependence of the electrical and dielectric properties of selective batches of Na-acetylacetonate phase and intermediates was measured.     

紫外-可见吸收光谱法现场监测聚苯胺的电化学降解

采用紫外-可见吸收光谱法现场监测了苯胺电化学聚合时的动力学降解过程,简单、直观地显示了阳极电位、酸度和苯胺浓度对降解过程的影响,结果表明,阳极电位越正、酸度越强、苯胺浓度越大,聚苯胺的降解速度越快。该方法得到的结果与聚苯胺膜在空白溶液中采用循环伏安法研究其降解动力学时得到的结果类似。     

原子吸收光谱法测定中成药中微量元素

利用原子吸收光谱法测定了老年咳喘片、复方半夏片、胃痛宁片、拳参片、参芪降糖胶囊、夏桑菊颗粒和美国洋参含片7种中成药中Ca,Mg,Fe,Zn,K,Na,Mn,Cu,Cr,Co,Sr,Ni,Cd和Pb元素的含量。详细研究了消化液(混酸)种类、混酸中HNO₃和HClO₄比例、消化液体积及消化时间对测定结果的影响。结果表明：所选7种药物中Ca,Mg,Fe,K和Na的含量普遍比较丰富;治疗糖尿病的药物参芪降糖胶囊中Mn的含量较为丰富,而胃痛宁片中有较丰富的Sr,Mn和Cu元素。     

254 nm低通滤光片的研制

根据紫外光学系统的设计要求,在K9基底上研制了254 nm高反射率、可见光谱区高透过率的低通滤光片.根据膜系设计理论,通过针法优化,获得了干涉型低通滤光片的膜系;对电子束蒸镀HfO_2和MgF_2材料进行了研究,解决了材料喷溅的问题,减少了薄膜的吸收;采用考夫曼离子源,通过优化工艺参数,提高膜层致密性,解决了光谱曲线漂移的问题,改善了成膜质量.
