Modified Preparation of 99mTe-Iron Hydroxide Macroaggregate (99mTe-Fe-(OH)2MA)

A modified method for preparing ^99mTc-FHMA for pulmonary studies is elabrated. It includes a new antioxidant sodium metabisulphite. The optimum conditions for the reparation are given. A simple and rapid procedure with a yield more than 98% is described which eliminates a further purification step.     

Hopf-algebraic renormalization of QED in the linear covariant gauge

In the context of massless quantum electrodynamics (QED) with a linear covariant gauge fixing, the connection between the counterterm and the Hopf-algebraic approach to renormalization is examined. The coproduct formula of Green’s functions contains two invariant charges, which give rise to different renormalization group functions. All formulas are tested by explicit computations to third loop order. The possibility of a finite electron self-energy by fixing a generalized linear covariant gauge is discussed. An analysis of subdivergences leads to the conclusion that such a gauge only exists in quenched QED.     

Evolution of synthetic routes towards homochiral Tapentadol

Analysis of the literature shows that the development of synthetic approaches to Tapentadol, an agonist of the μ-opioid receptor and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor, has followed four, partially overlapping, phases. The most advanced approaches, based on stereoselective syntheses, appeared only after 2010. The majority of the chemistry examples presented in this review come from patent applications and as such have not been subjected to rigorous peer review, but may serve well as an inspiration to organic chemists for solving analogous synthetic problems.     

The study of phase,microstructure, and magnetocaloric properties in LaFe11.6*xSi1.4B0.1 alloys

The effect of Fe on the phase and magnetocaloric property of LaFe_11.6*xSi_1.4B_0.1 alloys with x = 1.0–1.4 have been studied. The results show that the excess of Fe will make the α-Fe phases increase, but the easy corrosion LaFeSi phase reduces in LaFe_11.6*xSi_1.4B_0.1 alloys. All LaFe_11.6*xSi_1.4B_0.1 alloys keep the first-order magnetic phase transition. The saturation magnetizations of LaFe_11.6*xSi_1.4B_0.1 alloys with x > 1 are much higher than LaFe_11.6Si_1.4B_0.1 alloy under 2T magnetic field. This results in the maximum isothermal magnetic entropy changes, and the relative cooling power of LaFe_11.6*xSi_1.4B_0.1 alloys is bigger than for LaFe_11.6Si_1.4B_0.1 alloys.     

Impact of Geometric Parameters,Charge, and Lipophilicity on Bioactivity of Armed Quinoxaline,Benzothiaole, and Benzothiazine: Pom Analyses of Antibacterial and Antifungal Activity

Abstract

A series of four different armed heterocyclic candidates; 1-(2-methyl-2,3-dihydro-1,3-benzothiazol-2-yl)acetone (2), 1-(3-methyl-4H-1,4-benzothiazin-2-yl)ethanone (3), 2-[(2-aminophenyl)dithio]aniline (4), and 3-hydroxy-3-methyl-4-(3-methyl-2-quinoxalinyl)-2-butanone (5) have been prepared and their microbial activities were evaluated. A correlation of the structure and activities relationships of these compounds with respect to molecular modeling, Lipinski Rule of Five, drug likeness, toxicity profiles, and other physico-chemical properties of drugs are described and verified experimentally.     

Synthesis of 3-Substituted Pyrido[4′,3′:4,5]thieno[2,3-d]pyrimidines and Related Fused Thiazolo Derivatives

New ethyl 3-(substituted)-4-oxo-2-thioxo-1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8-octahydropyrido[4',3':4,5]thieno-[2,3-d]pyrimidine-7-carboxylates ( 3a , b ), ( 6 ),( 11-13 ), ethyl 3-methyl-5-oxo-2,3,6,9-tetrahydro 5 H -pyrido[4',3':4,5]thieno[2,3-d][1,3]thiazolo[3,2-a]pyrimidine-8(7H)-carboxylate ( 4 ), and ethyl 2-methyl-5-oxo-2,3,6,9-tetrahydro-5 H -pyrido[4',3':4,5]thieno[2,3-d][1,3]thiazolo[3,2-a]-pyrimidine-8(7H)-carboxylate ( 8 ) have been synthesized from diethyl 2-isothiocyanato-4,5,6,7-tetrahydrothieno[2,3-c]pyridine-3,6-dicarboxylate 1. The structure of these compounds as well as their intermediates have been established by their spectral data.     

NEW CARBON-PHOSPHORUS BOND CONTAINING COMPOUND IN THE REACTION OF 2-ACETYLTHIOPHENE WITH PHOSPHORUS PENTACHLORIDE

Abstract

The treatment of 2-acetylthiophene with phosphorus pentachloride led, besides other products reported in previous studies, to 2-(2-thienyl)-2-chloroethenephosphonic acid in 16% yield. This compound was transformed, in the course of purification attempts, into 2-(2-thienyl)-2-oxoethanephosphonic acid. Full spectroscopic data for both compounds are provided.     

SYNTHESIS OF α-AND β-OLEFINIC DITHIOESTERS - REACTIONS WITH GRIGNARD REAGENTS - SYNTHESIS OF ARTEMISIA KETONE

Abstract

A new synthesis of dithioesters, starting from phenylisothiocyanate is described (scheme I) and this method is convenient for the preparation of β-olefinic dithioesters (e. g. 1, scheme II).
