The singly tucked-in titanocene [Ti(η5-C5Me5)(η5:η1-C5Me4CH2)] (1) reacts smoothly with ethylene glycol or hydroquinone to give bis(titanoceneoxide) (TiIII) complexes [CH2OTi(η5-C5Me5)2]2 (2) and [(η5-C5Me5)2TiOC6H4OTi(η5-C5Me5)2] (3) containing dimethylene and 1,4-phenylene link, respectively. EPR spectra of 2 in 2-methyltetrahydrofuran glass and 3 in toluene glass revealed that the unpaired d1 electrons are in interaction to form triplet state molecules. The Ti-Ti distance derived from the zero-field splittings D for the two conformations of 2 (7.42 Å and 7.66 Å) are in good agreement with the Ti-Ti distance of 7.2430(7) Å from the X-ray diffraction single-crystal analysis. For 3, however, the Ti-Ti distance derived from D (7.65 Å) is by 1.47 Å shorter than the crystallographic distance of 9.1230(8) Å that indicates an enhancement of the through-space dipole-dipole interaction due to the presence of a conjugated quinonide link. 相似文献

The electronic structures and optical properties of TiAl intermetallic alloy system are studied by the first-principle orthogonalized linear combination of atomic orbitals method. Results on the band structure, total and partial density of states, localization index, effective atomic charges, and optical conductivity are presented and discussed in detail. Total density of states spectra reveal that (near the Fermi level) the majority of the contribution is from Ti-3d states. The effective charge calculations show an average charge transfer of 0.52 electrons from Ti to Al in primitive cell calculations of TiAl alloy. On the other hand, calculations using supercell approach reveal an average charge transfer of 0.48 electrons from Ti to Al. The localization index calculations, of primitive cell as well as of supercell, show the presence of relatively localized states even above the Fermi level for this alloy. The calculated optical conductivity spectra of TiAl alloy are rich in structures, showing the highest peak at 5.73 eV for supercell calculations. Calculations of the imaginary part of the linear dielectric function show a prominent peak at 5.71 eV and a plateau in the range 1.1-3.5 eV. 相似文献

Biofunctional coatings are necessary to improve integration of titanium implants in the host tissue but they may be detrimental for the implant fatigue properties. This study presents an attempt towards enhancement of the in vitro fatigue strength of plasma electrolytic oxidation coated Ti6Al4V alloy by applying shot peening process prior to coating. The electrolytic oxidation was performed in calcium acetate and calcium glycerophosphate electrolytes that allowed formation of porous oxide coatings with high surface free energy and apatite like ability. A deformed surface layer coupled with induced residual compressive stresses seem to affect oxide growth rate and fatigue behavior of the titanium alloy. 相似文献

The chromium and titanium oxynitride films on glass substrate were deposited by using reactive RF magnetron sputtering in the present work. The structural and optical properties of the chromium and titanium oxynitride films as a function of power variations are investigated. The chromium oxynitride films are crystalline even at low power of Cr target (≥60 W) but the titanium oxynitride films are amorphous at low target power of Ti target (≤90 W) as observed from glancing incidence X-ray diffraction (GIXRD) patterns. The residual stress and strain of the chromium oxynitride films are calculated by sin2 ψ method, as the average crystallite size decreases with the increase in sputtering power of the Cr target, higher stress and strain values are observed. The chromium oxynitride films changes from hydrophilic to hydrophobic with the increase of contact angle value from 86.4° to 94.1°, but the deposited titanium oxynitride films are hydrophilic as observed from contact angle measurements. The changes in surface energy were calculated using contact angle measurements to substantiate the hydrophobic properties of the films. UV-vis and NIR spectrophotometer were used to obtain the transmission and absorption spectra, and the later was used for determining band gap values of the films, respectively. The refractive index of chromium and titanium oxynitride films increases with film packing density due to formation of crystalline chromium and titanium oxynitride films with the gradual rise in deposition rate as a result of increase in target powers. 相似文献

TiO2 thick films deposited on macroporous reticulated Al2O3 foams with pore size of 10 ppi and 15 ppi were prepared using dip coating from slurries of Aeroxide® P25 nanopowder and precipitated titania. All prepared films have sufficiently good adhesion to the surface of the substrate also in case of strongly cracked films. No measurable release of deposited TiO2 after repeated photocatalytic cycles was observed. The photocatalytic activity was characterized as the rate of mineralization of aqueous phenol solution under irradiation of UVA light by TOC technique. The best activity was obtained with Aeroxide® P25 coated Al2O3 foam with the pore size of 10 ppi, annealed at 600 °C. The optimal annealing temperature for preparation of films from precipitated titania could be determined at 700 °C. Films prepared by sol-gel deposition technique were considerably thinner compared to coatings made of suspensions and their photocatalytic activity was significantly smaller. 相似文献

We report on the novel ternary hybrid materials consisting of semiconductor (TiO2), metal (Ag) and polymer (poly(oxyethylene methacrylate) (POEM)). First, a hydrophilic polymer, i.e. POEM, was grafted from TiO2 nanoparticles via the surface-initiated atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP) technique. These TiO2-POEM brush nanoparticles were used to template the formation of Ag nanoparticles by introduction of a AgCF3SO3 precursor and a NaBH4 aqueous solution for reduction process. Successful grafting of polymeric chains from the surface of TiO2 nanoparticles and the in situ formation of Ag nanoparticles within the polymeric chains were confirmed using transmission electron microscopy (TEM), UV-vis spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction (XRD) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). FT-IR spectroscopy also revealed the specific interaction of Ag nanoparticles with the CO groups of POEM brushes. This study presents a simple route for the in situ synthesis of both metal and polymer confined within the semiconductor, producing ternary hybrid inorganic-organic nanomaterials. 相似文献

The mechanical and corrosion resistance of hydrophilic sphene/titania composite coatings on titanium formed by a hybid technique of microarc oxidation (MAO) and heat-treatment were investigated. The results indicated that the heat-treatment could improve the hardness, elastic modulus, elastic recovery and corrosion resistance of the MAO coatings, and reinforce the interface bonding between MAO coatings and titanium. A cefazolin sodium/chitosan drug film was prepared on the coating surfaces. The drug load procedures such as the addition of chitosan obviously increased the sustained-release ability of drug films. In addition, the increase of cefazolin sodium concentration could increase the accumulative release concentration of cefazolin sodium. The sustaining-release ability of drug films deposited on the MAO and heat-treated MAO coatings is similar. In the interior of drug film, the physical and chemical bonding reactions such as Coulombic interactions, van der Waals force and H-bonding etc. could be produced, through the chemical group interactions such as -OH and -NH2 groups of chitosan with -CO of cefazolin sodium. 相似文献

This study investigated the surface characteristics and in vitro biocompatibility of a titanium (Ti) oxide layer incorporating the manganese ions (Mn) obtained by hydrothermal treatment with the expectation of utilizing potent integrin-ligand binding enhancement effect of Mn for future applications as an endosseous implant surface. The surface characteristics were evaluated by scanning electron microscopy, thin-film X-ray diffractometry, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, optical profilometry and inductively coupled plasma-atomic emission spectroscopy (ICP-AES). The in vitro biocompatibility of the Mn-containing Ti oxide surface was evaluated in comparison with untreated bare Ti using a mouse calvaria-derived osteoblastic cell line (MC3T3-E1). The hydrothermal treatment produced a nanostructured Mn-incorporated Ti oxide layer approximately 0.6 μm thick. ICP-AES analysis demonstrated that the Mn ions were released from the hydrothermally treated surface into the solution. Mn incorporation notably decreased cellular attachment, spreading, proliferation, alkaline phosphatase activity, and osteoblast phenotype gene expression compared with the bare Ti surface (p < 0.05). The results indicate that the Mn-incorporation into the surface Ti oxide layer has no evident beneficial effects on osteoblastic cell function, but instead, actually impaired cell behavior. 相似文献

Protein phosphorylation is a crucial regulatory mechanism in majority of biological processes. During MS, there is a general need to diminish suppression effect of non-phosphorylated peptides and counterbalance low abundance and insufficient ionization of phosphopeptides. Therefore, selective enrichment of their content in complex mixture has become an indispensable part of any phosphoproteomic study. In this work we employed metal oxide affinity chromatography (MOAC) approach. We have compared “classic” approach of mixing TiO2 and peptides in a microtube with “microcolumns” – commercial tips NuTips (TiO2/ZrO2 1:1) and TopTips® (TiO2, TiO2/ZrO2 1:1, and ZrO2). Selectivity of the given media towards phosphopeptides was tested on a tryptic digest of mixture of bovine proteins: α /β-casein and fetuin (phosphoproteins) with myoglobin and bovine serum albumin (non-phosphorylated proteins) in ratio 1:1:5:5 and 1:1:50:50, respectively. After enrichment, the obtained eluates were analyzed by tandem mass spectrometry (MALDI-TOF/TOF) on ABI 4800 in positive reflectron mode. To each media we applied four different protocols with different composition of loading and washing buffers and we compared efficiency of three displacers (1 M lactic acid, 350 mg/ml DHB, and 0.1 M glutamic acid). In our settings, NuTips® proved as the most efficient media for analysis of low complex samples, since they exhibited the highest phosphoselectivity. Surprisingly, the Titansphere 5 µm particles outperformed mixed TopTips, which against our expectations showed the lowest binding selectivity and reproducibility even after addition of three different displacers. 相似文献
