Thin ferromagnetic films with in-plane magnetic anisotropy are promising materials for obtaining high microwave permeability.The paper reports a Mo¨ssbauer study of the field induced in-plane uniaxial anisotropy in electro-deposited FeCo alloy films.The FeCo alloy films were prepared by the electro-deposition method with and without an external magnetic field applied parallel to the film plane during deposition.Vibrating sample magnetometry and Mo¨ssbauer spectroscopy measurements at room temperature indicate that the film deposited in external field shows an in-plane uniaxial anisotropy with an easy direction coinciding with the external field direction and a hard direction perpendicular to the field direction,whereas the film deposited without external field does not show any in-plane anisotropy.Mo¨ssbauer spectra taken in three geometric arrangements show that the magnetic moments are almost constrained in the film plane for the film deposited with applied magnetic field.Also,the magnetic moments tend to align in the direction of the applied external magnetic field during deposition,indicating that the observed anisotropy should be attributed to directional ordering of atomic pairs.  相似文献

In the present paper, we describe the encryption and decryption of two-dimensional images. The encryption is done by employing a sandwich phase diffuser made by using two elongated speckle patterns, and placed in the Fourier plane of a double random phase encoding system. After encryption, the two constituent phase diffusers of such a sandwich diffuser are separated. During decryption, if the conjugate of either of the two elongated phase speckle patterns is used, the image cannot be retrieved. Correct decryption is also not possible if a sandwich diffuser with any of the phase speckle patterns is shifted in position with respect to the other. For decryption, the encrypted image is Fourier transformed and multiplied by the conjugate of the sandwich diffuser, and then the product is further Fourier transformed. It is possible to generate the image only if both the elongated phase speckle patterns are matched point-to-point and then the proper conjugate is made. The use of elongated speckle patterns in constituting a sandwich phase diffuser makes the system less complicated as compared to the use of a sandwich diffuser made with normal speckle patterns, enabling an easy alignment of the random phase diffuser at the time of rejoining the constituent diffusers for making the right key. The ease of alignment is due to the reduction of the requirement of 360° scanning at the time of rejoining these diffusers with little reduction in the security of the system. Simulation results are presented in support of the proposed idea. For optical implementation, the decrypted image may be obtained by generating a phase conjugate wave by the phase conjugation technique, and passing through the same sandwich phase diffuser. To evaluate the reliability of the technique, mean square error (MSE) between the decrypted and original image has been calculated.  相似文献

This study investigates ultra-thin potassium chloride (KCl) films on the Si(1 0 0)-2 × 1 surfaces at near room temperature. The atomic structure and growth mode of this ionic solid film on the covalent bonded semiconductor surface is examined by synchrotron radiation core level photoemission, scanning tunneling microscopy and ab initio calculations. The Si 2p, K 3p and Cl 2p core level spectra together indicate that adsorbed KCl molecules at submonolayer coverage partially dissociate and that KCl overlayers above one monolayer (ML) have similar features in the valance band density of states as those of the bulk KCl crystal. STM results reveal a novel c(4 × 4) structure at 1 ML coverage. Ab initio calculations show that a model that comprises a periodic pyramidal geometry is consistent with experimental results.  相似文献

We enumerate lattice paths in the planar integer lattice consisting of positively directed unit vertical and horizontal steps with respect to a specific elliptic weight function. The elliptic generating function of paths from a given starting point to a given end point evaluates to an elliptic generalization of the binomial coefficient. Convolution gives an identity equivalent to Frenkel and Turaev's summation. This appears to be the first combinatorial proof of the latter, and at the same time of some important degenerate cases including Jackson's and Dougall's summation. By considering nonintersecting lattice paths we are led to a multivariate extension of the summation which turns out to be a special case of an identity originally conjectured by Warnaar, later proved by Rosengren. We conclude with discussing some future perspectives.  相似文献

The low-frequency noise is a ubiquitous phenomenon and the spectral power density of this fluctuation process is inversely proportional to the frequency of the signal. We have measured the 1/f noise of a 640 × 512 pixel quantum well infrared photodetector (QWIP) focal plane array (FPA) with 6.2 μm peak wavelength. Our experimental observations show that this QWIP FPA’s 1/f noise corner frequency is about 0.1 mHz. With this kind of low frequency stability, QWIPs could unveil a new class of infrared applications that have never been imagined before. Furthermore, we present the results from a similar 1/f noise measurement of bulk InAsSb absorber (lattice matched to GaSb substrate) nBn detector array with 4.0 μm cutoff wavelength.  相似文献

The core/shell CdSeTe/ZnS quantum dots (QDs) with emission at 780–800 nm (1.55–1.60 eV) have been studied by means of photoluminescence (PL) and Raman scattering methods in the nonconjugated state and after conjugation to different antibodies (Ab): (i) mouse monoclonal [8C9] human papilloma virus Ab, anti-HPV 16-E7 Ab, (ii) mouse monoclonal [C1P5] human papilloma virus HPV16 E6+HPV18 E6 Ab, and (iii) pseudo rabies virus (PRV) Ab. The transformations of PL and Raman scattering spectra of QDs, stimulated by conjugated antibodies, have been revealed and discussed.The energy band diagram of core/shell CdSeTe/ZnS QDs has been designed that helps to analyze the PL spectra and their transformations at the bioconjugation. It is shown that the core in CdSeTe/ZnS QDs is complex and including the type II quantum well. The last fact permits to explain the nature of infrared (IR) optical transitions (1.55–1.60 eV) and the high energy PL band (1.88–1.94 eV) in the nonconjugated and bioconjugated QDs. A set of physical reasons has been analyzed with the aim to explain the transformation of PL spectra in bioconjugated QDs. Finally it is shown that two factors are responsible for the PL spectrum transformation at bioconjugation to charged antibodies: (i) the change of energy band profile in QDs and (ii) the shift of QD energy levels in the strong quantum confinement case. The effect of PL spectrum transformation is useful for the study of QD bioconjugation to specific antibodies and can be a powerful technique for early medical diagnostics.  相似文献
