Thermal stress-waves are generated in the solid target material when the proton beam interacts. These stress waves excite natural oscillations of the target or cause plastic deformations. Hence, an experimental setup with a laser Doppler vibrometer [CITE] was developed to investigate free surface vibrations of cylindrical targets. The target configurations for RIB and conventional neutrino beams (CNGS project) were investigated to analyze proton induced thermal stress-wave generation and propagation.  相似文献

In this review article, the development of the double cladding optical fiber for high power fiber lasers is reviewed. The main technology for high power fiber lasers, including laser diode beam shaping, fiber laser pumping techniques, and amplification systems, are discussed in detail. 1050 W CW output and 133 W pulsed output are obtained in Shanghai Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics, China. Two-dimensional (2D) transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDs) with fascinating electronic energy band structures, rich valley physical properties and strong spin–orbit coupling have attracted tremendous interest, and show great potential in electronic, optoelectronic, spintronic and valleytronic fields. Stacking 2D TMDs have provided unprecedented opportunities for constructing artificial functional structures. Due to the low cost, high yield and industrial compatibility, chemical vapor deposition (CVD) is regarded as one of the most promising growth strategies to obtain high-quality and large-area 2D TMDs and heterostructures. Here, state-of-the-art strategies for preparing TMDs details of growth control and related heterostructures construction via CVD method are reviewed and discussed, including wafer-scale synthesis, phase transition, doping, alloy and stacking engineering. Meanwhile, recent progress on the application of multi-functional devices is highlighted based on 2D TMDs. Finally, challenges and prospects are proposed for the practical device applications of 2D TMDs.  相似文献

Hyperbranched poly(aryl-ether-urea)s with phenyl, N,N-dimethylamino ethyl and polyethylene oxide end-groups linked through urethane group – HBPEU-1, HBPEU-2 and HBPEU-3 respectively – were synthesized from an AB2-type blocked isocyanate monomer and characterized by FT-IR, 1H-NMR, SEC-MALLS, TGA and DSC techniques. The molecular weight of the polymers were found to be ranged from 4.9 × 103 ? 1.96 × 104 g/mol. The TGA results showed that the polymers decompose between 175°C – 220°C. In the DSC curves, HBPEU-1 and HBPEU-3 showed Tg at 160°C and 53°C respectively, whereas HBPEU-2 did not showed clear Tg. All the three polymers were converted into polymer electrolytes by doping with LiI/I2. The doped polymers showed remarkably high ionic conductivity, up to 222 – 277 times compared to the un-doped polymers and the highest conductivity was observed with doped HBPEU-2. The TiO2 based dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs) were fabricated using the doped polymer electrolytes and their performance was tested; HBPEU-2 showed good performance by yielding energy conversion efficiency (η) of 4.5%.  相似文献

In this paper, we propose a new prototype model of a micro pump using ICPF (Ionic Conducting Polymer Film) actuator as the servo actuator. This micro pump consists of two active oneway valves that make use of the same ICPF actuator. The overall size of this micro pump prototype is 12mm in diameter and 20 mm in length. The actuating mechanism is as follows: (1) The ICPF actuator as the diaphragm is bent into anode side by application of electricity. Then the volume of the pump chamber increases, resulting in the inflow of liquid from the inlet to the chamber. (2) By changing the current direction, the volume of the pump chamber decreases, resulting in the liquid flow from the chamber to the outlet. (3) The ICPF actuator is put on a sine voltage, the micro pump provides liquid flow from the inlet to the outlet continuously. Characteristic of the micro pump is measured. The experimental results indicate that the micro pump has the satisfactory responses.  相似文献

The numerical simulation of electric circuits including multirate signals can be done by a model based on partial differential algebraic equations. In the case of frequency modulated signals, a local frequency function appears as a degree of freedom in the model. Thus the determination of a solution with a minimum amount of variation is feasible, which allows for resolving on relatively coarse grids. We prove the existence and uniqueness of the optimal solutions in the case of initial-boundary value problems as well as biperiodic boundary value problems. The minimisation problems are also investigated and interpreted in the context of optimal control. Furthermore, we construct a method of characteristics for the computation of optimal solutions in biperiodic problems. Numerical simulations of test examples are presented.  相似文献

Target drug delivery methodology is becoming increasingly important to overcome the shortcomings of conventional drug delivery absorption method. It improves the action time with uniform distribution and poses minimum side effects, but is usually difficult to design to achieve the desire results. Economically favorable, environment friendly, multifunctional, and easy to design, hybrid nanomaterials have demonstrated their enormous potential as target drug delivery vehicles. A combination of both micelles and nanoparticles makes them fine target delivery vehicles in a variety of biological applications where precision is primarily required to achieve the desired results as in the case of cytotoxicity of cancer cells, chemotherapy, and computed tomography guided radiation therapy.  相似文献
