A low silica, barium borate glass-ceramic for use as seals in planar SOFCs containing 64 mol%BaO, 3 mol%Al2O3 and 3 mol%SiO2 was studied. Coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE) between 275-550 °C, glass transition temperature (Tg), and dilatometric softening point (Ts) of the parent glass were 11.9 × 10−6 °C−1, 552 °C, and 558 °C, respectively. Glass-ceramic was produced by devitrification heat treatment at 800 °C for 100 h. It was found that nucleation heat treatment, seeding by 3 wt%ZrO2 as glass-composite and pulverization affected the amount, size and distribution of crystalline phases. SEM-EDS and XRD results revealed that crystalline phases presented in the devitrified glass-ceramic were barium aluminate (BaAl2O4), barium aluminosilicate (BaAl2Si2O8) possibly with boron associated in its crystal structure, and barium zirconate (BaZrO3). CTE of the devitrified glass-ceramic was in the range of (10.1-13.0) × 10−6 °C−1. Good adhesion was obtained both in the cases of glass and devitrified glass-ceramic with YSZ and AISI430 stainless steel. Interfacial phenomena between these components were discussed.  相似文献

Well-crystallized hydrogenated carbon nitride thin films have been prepared by microwave plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition (MWPECVD). 1H-1,2,3-triazole+N2 and Si (1 0 0) were used as precursor and substrate, respectively. Substrate temperature during the deposition was recorded to be 850 °C. The synthesized samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and X-ray photo-electron spectroscopy (XPS) analyses. The plasma compositions were checked by optical emission spectroscopy (OES). XRD observation strongly suggests that the films contain polycrystalline carbon nitride with graphitic structure of (1 0 0), (0 0 2), (2 0 0) and (0 0 4). XPS peak quantification reveals that the atomic ratio of the materials C:N:O:Si is 32:41:18:9. X-ray photo-electron peak deconvolution shows that the most dominant peak of C (1s) and N (1s) narrow scans correspond to sp2 hybrid structure of C3N4. These observations indicate that 1H-1,2,3-triazole favors the formation of hydrogenated carbon nitride with graphitic phase by CVD method and thus is in good agreement with XRD results. SEM of surface and OES of plasma also support the formation of polycrystalline carbon nitride films from 1H-1,2,3-triazole+N2 by CVD.  相似文献

With anatase-type titanium dioxide as the raw materials, the futile type titanium dioxide single crystal is prepared using the floating zone method. The results of XRD measurement show that the grown crystal is highly crystalline with a futile structure, which has orientation to the c-axis. The four Raman vibration characteristic peaks (143, 240, 450 and 610 cm^-1) at room temperature show that the crystalline structure of the single crystal is a typical futile phase, meanwhile a new Raman peak at around 690 cm^-1 is found. The results of the Raman measurement at various temperatures for the single crystal show that the Raman frequency shifts are different.  相似文献

The refractive indices of tetragonal (1−x)Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3-xPbTiO3 (PMN-xPT) single crystals were measured with a prism coupler and their linear electro-optic (EO) properties were investigated from 20 to 80 °C by the automated scanning Sénarmont system with an ac field. The composition and temperature effect on the EO coefficients were also discussed. It has been found that their EO coefficients are much larger than that of widely used LiNbO3 single crystal and the calculated half-wave voltages are also much lower, which enable the operation at lower voltages and the smaller device dimensions. Since the excellent EO properties are very stable and such high quality single crystals with large-size have been obtained, the PMN-xPT single crystals are a very promising candidate for EO modulation applications. By linking to the polarization-related quadratic EO coefficients, we find that the linear EO properties are related with the spontaneous polarization and dielectric constants.  相似文献

TaN thin film is an attractive interlayer as well as a diffusion barrier layer in [FeN/TaN]n multilayers for the application as potential write-head materials in high-density magnetic recording. We synthesized two series of TaN films on glass and Si substrates by using reactive radio-frequency sputtering under 5-mtorr Ar/N2 processing pressure with varied N2 partial pressure, and carried out systematic characterization analyses of the films. We observed clear changes of phases in the films from metallic bcc Ta to a mixture of bcc Ta(N) and hexagonal Ta2N, then sequentially to fcc TaN and a mixture of TaN with N-rich phases when the N2 partial pressure increased from 0.0% to 30%. The changes were associated with changes in the grain shapes as well as in the preferred crystalline orientation of the films from bcc Ta [100] to [110], then to random and finally to fcc TaN [111], correspondingly. They were also associated with a change in film resistivity from metallic to semiconductor-like behavior in the range of 77–295 K. The films showed a typical polycrystalline textured structure with small, crystallized domains and irregular grain shapes. Clear preferred (111) stacks parallel to the substrate surface with embedded amorphous regions were observed in the film. TaN film with [111]-preferred orientation and a resistivity of 6.0 mΩ cm was obtained at 25% N2 partial pressure, which may be suitable for the interlayer in [FeN/TaN]n multilayers. Interaction of aluminium with cerium oxide was studied by photoelectron spectroscopy of Al/CeO2(1 1 1) and CeO2/Al(1 1 1) model systems. It was found in both cases that metallic aluminium was immediately oxidized, CeO2 was partially reduced and a mixed oxide with cerium present as Ce3+ was formed. The compound is probably cerium aluminate CeAlO3 mixed with Al2O3 or Ce2O3. In both cases the intermixing was limited by the diffusion of aluminium into ceria. The excess of deposited material above this limit formed AlOx and CeO2 overlayers on the top of the mixed oxide + aluminate/CeO2 and mixed oxide + aluminate/Al films, respectively.  相似文献

X-ray diffraction and Mössbauer spectroscopy were applied as complementary methods to investigate the structure and hyperfine interactions in the series of Bim+1Ti3Fem−3O3m+3 Aurivillius compounds with m=4, 6, 7 and 8. Samples were synthesized by the solid-state sintering method at various temperatures. As X-ray diffraction analysis proved, the compounds formed single phases at temperature above 993 K. Mössbauer studies have confirmed diffraction measurements. Compounds synthesized at 993 K contained residual hematite, however these sintered at elevated temperatures were single-phased materials. Room-temperature Mössbauer spectra of Bim+1Ti3Fem−3O3m+3 compounds revealed their paramagnetic properties, what is consistent with the literature data concerning the Néel temperature of these ceramics (TN is smaller than room temperature). Detailed analysis of MS spectra allowed to state that iron ions may occupy both tetrahedral and octahedral sites in the crystallographic lattice of Aurivillius compounds.  相似文献

We have performed a comparative study of UV laser ablation of SrTiO3 with nanosecond- and sub-picosecond sources, respectively. The experiments were performed with lasers at a wavelength of 248 nm and pulse durations of 34 ns and 500 fs. Femtosecond ablation turns out to be more efficient by one order of magnitude and eliminated the known problem of cracking of SrTiO3 during laser machining with longer pulses. In addition, the cavities ablated with femtosecond pulses display a smoother surface with no indication of melting and well-defined, sharp edges. These effects can be explained by the reduced thermal shock effect on the material by using ultrashort pulses.  相似文献

We investigated evolution of hydrocarbon species on a Si surface during methane plasma both with and without substrate bias, using infrared spectroscopy in multiple internal reflection geometry (MIR-IRAS). We found that the relative density of the sp3-CH or sp3-CH2 species to the sp3-CH3 species was low in the low exposure regions, but that the relative density of the sp3-CH or sp3-CH2 species increased as the exposure was higher. Substrate temperatures rose as the plasma exposure was higher. The changes of ratios would be ascribed to the substrate heating effect by plasma exposure, which would enhance the etching and/or hydrogen abstraction effects. We also found the change of CH1-2/CH3 ratios was enhanced when the high substrate bias was applied. The enhancement of the ratio was due to ion effects.  相似文献

Nitrogen and boron BF2, and nitrogen, carbon, and boron BF2 high-dose (6×1016–3×1017 cm-2) co-implantation were performed at energies of about 21–77 keV. Subsequent high-temperature annealing processes (600, 850, and 1200 °C) lead to the formation of three and two surface layers respectively. The outer layer mainly consists of polycrystalline silicon and some amorphous material and Si3N4 inclusions. The inner layer is highly defective crystalline silicon, with some inclusions of Si3N4 too. In the N+B-implanted sample the intermediate layer is amorphous. Co-implantation of boron with nitrogen and with nitrogen and carbon prevents the excessive diffusivity of B and leads to a lattice-parameter reduction of 0.7–1.0%.
