Lithium (Li) metal anodes have the highest theoretical capacity and lowest electrochemical potential making them ideal for Li metal batteries (LMBs). However, Li dendrite formation on the anode impedes the proper discharge capacity and practical cycle life of LMBs, particularly in carbonate electrolytes. Herein, we developed a reactive alternative polymer named P(St-MaI) containing carboxylic acid and cyclic ether moieties which would in situ form artificial polymeric solid electrolyte interface (SEI) with Li. This SEI can accommodate volume changes and maintain good interfacial contact. The presence of carboxylic acid and cyclic ether pendant groups greatly contribute to the induction of uniform Li ion deposition. In addition, the presence of benzyl rings makes the polymer have a certain mechanical strength and plays a key role in inhibiting the growth of Li dendrites. As a result, the symmetric Li||Li cell with P(St-MaI)@Li layer can stably cycle for over 900 h under 1 mA cm−2 without polarization voltage increasing, while their Li||LiFePO4 full batteries maintain high capacity retention of 96 % after 930 cycles at 1C in carbonate electrolytes. The innovative strategy of artificial SEI is broadly applicable in designing new materials to inhibit Li dendrite growth on Li metal anodes. 相似文献

利用酸水解稻壳中的半纤维素制备木糖, 并将糖渣经过炭化后分离出碳和硅, 碳采用稀碱溶液活化改性制备电容炭, 硅采用水热法合成了硅酸钙晶须, 从而使稻壳所有组分得到充分利用. 采用循环伏安(CV)和恒流充放电(GCD)研究了电容炭的电化学性能. 通过X射线衍射(XRD)和扫描电子显微镜(SEM)对所得硅酸钙晶须的结构和形貌进行了表征. 实验结果表明, 稻壳酸水解的最优条件为硫酸浓度7%(质量分数)、 固液比(g/mL)为1:8、 反应时间为2.0 h, 在该条件下, 一次水解、 二次水解和三次水解的木糖收率(Y1/Y2/Y3)和浓度(质量分数, C1/C2/C3)都能达到最大值, Y1=98.5%, C1=3.6%; Y2=85.4%, C2=6.3%; Y3=76.6%, C3=9.0%. 采用15 mL 8%(质量分数) NaOH稀碱溶液活化改性制得的电容炭(AC/15)比电容值为77.32 F/g, 而且具有较好的倍率性和循环稳定性; 硅酸钙晶须为扫帚状针钠钙石晶须. 相似文献

Vipoxin is a neurotoxin from the venom of Vipera ammodytes meridionalis, the most toxic snake in Europe. It is a unique complex of a toxic phospholipase A2 (PLA2) and a non-toxic PLA2-like protein inhibitor (Inh) which probably evolved from the enzyme and reduces its activity and toxicity. The enzymatic activity of Vipoxin is Ca2+-dependent and the interaction of this metal ion with the neurotoxic complex and its separated components was investigated using the fluorescent probe ANS. Vipoxin binds two calcium ions, one per each subunit. The X-ray model of the Ca2+-free neurotoxin shows that the potential metal-binding sites require minor structural changes to bind calcium. The dissociation constants K(2+)Ca of the calcium complexes of Vipoxin and its components, PLA2 and Inh, were determined to be 16, 10 and 9 mM, respectively. The affinity for calcium of Vipoxin is reduced in comparison to those of PLA2 and Inh. The X-ray model shows that the potential Ca2+-binding sites in the two components are partially 'shielded' in the complex. The affinity of the neurotoxin to Sr2+ and Ba2+ is lower and the respective K(2+)Ca are 20 and 30 mM. The saturation of Ca2+-binding sites increased the melting point Tm of Vipoxin by 11 degrees C and the activation energy for the thermal deactivation of the excited tryptophans Ea by 11 kJ mol(-1) x Ca2+ is important not only for the enzymatic activity of Vipoxin but also for its thermostability. 相似文献

On Calcium Bromated and Iodates – Crystal Structure, X-Ray, IR and Raman Spectroscopical and Thermoanalytical Investigations The phase relationships (and both decomposition and disproportionation)of bromates and iodates of alkaline earth metals are studied by means of thermal analyses (DTA, DSC, TG) and (high-temperature) X-Ray, IR-, and (high-temperature) Raman spectroscopic measurements. The following compounds have been established: Ca(IO3)2 · 6 H2O oF 216, the isotypic Ca(BrO3)2 · H2O and Ca(IO3)2 · H2O mP 48, Ca(IO3)2 I (Lautarit) mP 36, Ca(IO3)2 II and Ca(BrO3)2. The Crystal structure of Ca(IO3)2 · H2O (brüggenite) (space group P21/c, Z = 4) has been determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction (MoKα). The final R value for 3888 reflections with Io > 3σ1 is 0.0487. The structures of bromates and iodates of alkaline earth metals known so far are discussed with respect to the energetic (mode frequencies) and geometric (bond lengths) distortion of the XO3–ions as well as the strengths of H-bonds present in the respective hydrates. 相似文献

A method is developed for determination of trace elements, including Ag, As, Cd, Co, Cr, Cu, Mn, Ni, Se, Tl and Zn, in fish otoliths by electrothermal vaporization inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ETV-ICP-MS). Hydrofluoric acid was used to precipitate calcium resulting from acid dissolution of otolith calcium carbonate. Initial acidity of the sample solution influenced the precipitation efficiency of calcium fluoride. Up to 99.5% of Ca was precipitated in solutions that contained less than 2% (v/v) HNO3. Recoveries of the elements obtained from spiked artificial otolith solutions were between 90 and 103%. Stabilization of the elements within the ETV cell was achieved with 0.3 μg Pd/0.2 μg Rh chemical modifier that also afforded optimum sensitivity for multielement determination. The method was validated by the analysis of a fish otolith reference material (CRM) of emperor snapper, and then applied to the determination of the trace elements in otoliths of several fish species captured in Raritan Bay, New Jersey. Results indicated that fish physiology and biological processes could influence the levels of Cu, Mn, Se and Zn in the otoliths of fish inhabiting a similar aqueous environment. Otolith concentrations of Cr and Ni did not show any significant differences among different species. Concentrations for Ag, As, Cd, Co and Tl were also not significantly different, but were very low indicating low affinity of otolith calcium carbonate to these elements. 相似文献

This paper reports a detailed study of how repeated r.f. magnetron sputtering from a hydroxyapatite (HA) powder target affects the nature and reproducibility of a sequential series of thin‐film coatings deposited onto Ti6Al4V substrates. An evaluation of the effective lifespan of the HA sputter targets and the reproducibility of the calcium phosphate (CaP) coatings produced from them has been made from Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, XPS and, as appropriate, atomic force microscopy and SEM/energy dispersive x‐ray analyses. The annulus region of the target surface, from which sputtering under r.f. magnetron conditions normally occurs, showed severe surface degradation after only one deposition run, as indicated by significant PO43? and OH? depletion. This deterioration continued after each subsequent deposition cycle but to a much lesser extent than that observed in the initial sputtering period. The layers produced from all of the sputter runs contained the expected Ca2+ and PO43? species characteristic of a CaP system but were OH? deficient in the as‐deposited state. However, the chemical and morphological properties of the coatings did not change significantly until after the third consecutive sputter cycle. Hence, these data indicate that, even though a significant level of degradation of the HA target occurs at the outset of the sputtering procedure, the general plasma conditions employed here have a dominant influence on the coating properties until a critical degradation condition is met. As such, the compacted HA powder targets of interest can have a life‐cycle greater than single usage without detriment to the chemistry and morphology of the coatings produced from them. 研究了五种不同介质(水、氯化钠、合成尿、正常人尿液和尿石患者尿液)的凝胶体系中草酸钙(CaC2O4)晶体的生长,及各种体系中防石药物柠檬酸钾(K3cit)对CaC2O4生长的影响.没有加K3cit时,CaC2O4晶体以一水草酸钙(calcium oxalate monohydrate, COM)为主要物相,但在氯化钠和合成尿的凝胶体系中同时出现了二水草酸钙(calcium oxalate dihydrate, COD)和三水草酸钙(calcium oxalate trihydrate, COT),肾结石患者尿液中出现COD,而正常人尿液中没有COD和COT生成.加入K3cit后,水、氯化钠和合成尿介质的凝胶体系中,COT的含量显著增加,患者尿液中产生大量COD,而正常人尿液中出现了少量的COD和极个别的COT.COT的增加与低温、体系中高的离子强度及金属离子等因素有关.K3cit具有诱导COD和COT的生成、减小COM晶体比表面积的作用,从而有利于防治草酸钙结石的形成. 相似文献

Protein adsorption characteristics of calcium hydroxyapatite (Hap) modified with pyrophosphoric acids (PP(a)) were examined. The PP(a) modified Hap particles (abbreviated as PP-Hap) possessed anchored polyphosphate (PP: P-{O-PO(OH)}(n)-OH) branches on their surfaces. The proteins of bovine serum albumin (BSA: isoelectric point (iep)=4.7, molecular mass (M(s))=67,200 Da, acidic protein), myoglobin (MGB: iep=7.0, M(s)=17,800 Da, neutral protein), and lysozyme (LSZ: iep=11.1, M(s)=14,600 Da, basic protein) were examined. The zeta potential (zp) of PP-Hap particles as a function of pH overlapped; zp-pH curves were independent of the concentration of pyrophosphoric acids (abbreviated as [PP(a)]) used for modifying Hap surface. The saturated amounts of adsorbed BSA (Delta n(ads)(BSA)) were increased three-fold by the surface modification with PP(a) though they were independent of the [PP(a)]. Furthermore, the fraction of BSA desorption was independent of the [PP(a)]. This enhancement of BSA adsorption onto the PP-Hap is due to the hydrogen bonding between oxygen and OH groups of the PP-branches and functional groups of BSA molecules. In the case of LSZ, a more higher adsorption enhancement was observed; the saturated amount of adsorbed LSZ (Delta n(ads)(LSZ)) for Hap modified at [PP(a)]=6 mmol/dm(3) was nine-fold than that for Hap unmodified. This remarkable adsorption enhancement was explained by a three-dimensional binding mechanism; LSZ molecules were trapped inside of the PP-branches. Hence, a fraction of LSZ desorption was decreased with an increase in the [PP(a)]; as more PP-branches are presented on the surface the higher retardation of LSZ desorption was induced. It was expected from their small size that MGB adsorb between the PP-branches as well as LSZ. However, the amounts of adsorbed MGB (Delta n(ads)(MGB)) did not vary and were independent of the [PP(a)] due to the small numbers of functional groups of MGB. In addition, no dependence of the fraction of MGB desorption on the [PP(a)] was observed. The results of zp for all the protein systems supported the mode of protein adsorption discussed. The anchored structure of the PP-branches developed on the Hap surface to provide three-dimensional protein adsorption spaces was proved by a comparative experiment that was elucidating the effect of pyrophosphate ions for BSA adsorption onto Hap. 相似文献
