We investigate Bianchi type V cosmological models with bulk viscous fluid source. Exact solutions of the Einstein field equations are presented via a suitable power law assumption for the Hubble parameter. We show that the corresponding solutions retain the well established features of the standard cosmology and in addition, are in accordance with recent type Ia supernovae observations. Some observational parameters for the models have also been discussed.  相似文献

The rheological nature of paper or board is usually treated either as elasto-plastic or as viscoelastic depending on the studied paper making process or behavior in converting and end use. In this paper we study several stress–strain curve models and the determination of material parameters from an elasto-plastic point of view. Finally, a suitable approach for all stress–strain curves measured from 180 strips is constructed using a linear function for an elastic region and a nonlinear function for a strain hardening region. This model determines a proportional limit (elastic limit) and gives fairly elegant dependencies between material/fitting parameters and two important factors of mechanical properties of paper: dry solids content and anisotropy. In this paper the dependency of a plastic strain on dry solids content and anisotropy is estimated using the introduced stress–strain curve model. Correspondingly, the model can be used to estimate many other mechanical behaviors, for example, the tension differences arising from non-uniform moisture content of the paper web profile. However, the main target of this study is to produce competent parameters based on modeled stress–strain curves for further construction of a material model. This elasto-plastic material model will be utilized in out-of-plane deformation and fracture models.  相似文献

A process has been developed by which mean velocity and concentration measurements can be used to determine optimal turbulent diffusivity values for an angled jet in cross-flow configuration. This configuration has applications in film cooling for gas turbine blades. The measurements, obtained by magnetic resonance imaging techniques, provide 3D time-averaged velocity and concentration fields. The mean velocity field is fed into a Reynolds-Averaged Advection Diffusion solver, which uses a turbulent diffusivity model to solve for the mean coolant concentration distribution. This distribution can be compared to the experimentally-obtained concentration field by means of an error metric that quantifies the difference between the computational and experimental concentration fields. By minimizing this error, an optimal value of the turbulent diffusivity can be determined. This optimized distribution is then compared to a RANS simulation to evaluate the relative contribution to error of the turbulent momentum flux model versus the turbulent scalar flux model.  相似文献

The traveling performance of off-the-road vehicles, such as construction machinery and exploration rovers, significantly depends on the interaction between the ground and the traveling mechanism, since inelastic ground deformation and frictional sliding phenomena are induced by the vehicle’s movement. In general, a tread surface causes anisotropic frictional interaction behavior on a macroscopic scale. In this study, an acceptable frictional interaction model was implemented to finite element method to rationally examine the anisotropic frictional interaction behavior between the tire and the ground. Finite element analysis of the single tire traveling performance, including certain slippage and side slip (skid), was then carried out to examine the effect of the anisotropic frictional interaction on the numerical results for the drawbar-pull and side force.  相似文献

Recent advances in measuring and interpreting cosmic rays from the spectral ankle to the highest energies are briefly reviewed. The prime question at the highest energies is about the origin of the flux suppression observed at E41019eV. Is this the long-awaited GZK-effect or the exhaustion of sources? The key to answering this question will be provided by the largely unknown mass composition at the highest energies. The high level of isotropy observed even at the highest energies challenges models of a proton-dominated composition if extragalactic magnetic fields are on the order of a few nG or less. We shall discuss the experimental and theoretical progress in the field and the prospects for the next decade.  相似文献

基于位函数的引入与介质参量无关,将各向异性目标内外的电场展为级数形式,得到了任意各向异性目标n阶散射场、目标内场的递推表达式,给出了介电常量张量的变换关系,在平面波任意入射的条件下,并给出了传播单位矢量与极化单位矢量的一般关系.以磁化冷等离子体为例,给出了一阶散射场的具体表达式,并对二阶散射场引起的误差进行了评估.在THz波段和光波段,对所得结果进行了部分仿真.结果表明:微分散射对电波频率和极化状态等因素的影响较为敏感,介电常量张量的非对角元素对散射的影响不大,当波长与目标尺寸一定时,仿真结果不仅适用于THz波段,对其它波段也成立.  相似文献

Many materials contain inhomogeneities or inclusions that may greatly affect their mechanical properties. Such inhomogeneities are for example encountered in the case of composite materials or materials containing precipitates. This paper presents an analysis of contact pressure and subsurface stress field for contact problems in the presence of anisotropic elastic inhomogeneities of ellipsoidal shape. Accounting for any orientation and material properties of the inhomogeneities are the major novelties of this work. The semi-analytical method proposed to solve the contact problem is based on Eshelby’s formalism and uses 2D and 3D Fast Fourier Transforms to speed up the computation. The time and memory necessary are greatly reduced in comparison with the classical finite element method. The model can be seen as an enrichment technique where the enrichment fields from the heterogeneous solution are superimposed to the homogeneous problem. The definition of complex geometries made by combination of inclusions can easily be achieved. A parametric analysis on the effect of elastic properties and geometrical features of the inhomogeneity (size, depth and orientation) is proposed. The model allows to obtain the contact pressure distribution – disturbed by the presence of inhomogeneities – as well as subsurface and matrix/inhomogeneity interface stresses. It is shown that the presence of an inclusion below the contact surface affects significantly the contact pressure and subsurfaces stress distributions when located at a depth lower than 0.7 times the contact radius. The anisotropy directions and material data are also key elements that strongly affect the elastic contact solution. In the case of normal contact between a spherical indenter and an elastic half space containing a single inhomogeneity whose center is located straight below the contact center, the normal stress at the inhomogeneity/matrix interface is mostly compressive. Finally when the axes of the ellipsoidal inclusion do not coincide with the contact problem axes, the pressure distribution is not symmetrical.  相似文献

The electronic ground structure and the anisotropy of the electrical conductivity in W-type hexagonal ferrite BaFe18O27 and BaCo2Fe16O27 have been investigated using the generalized gradient approximation (GGA) plus Hubbard U (GGA+U) calculation. In BaFe18O27, because of the presence of mixed valence states at Fe 6g sites, a half metallic peak appears in energy gap and it results in an “electrical conductive layer”. Using a model in which Fe at 6g sites is assumed to be partially replaced by Co, the electronic ground structure of BaCo2Fe16O27 and the origin of the electrical conductive anisotropy have been studied. Replacement of Fe at 6g site of BaFe18O27 by Co causes the mixed valence states of Fe cations at 6g sites to vanish and the carrier density to lower. Also, it is shown that effective mass of carrier along c axis is much heavier than that perpendicular to c axis in both of materials from electronic energy band calculation. This is the reason why the electrical resistivities of both materials along c axis are much higher than that perpendicular to axis.  相似文献
