Dynamical Behaviour of Linear Molecular Anions in the Hydrogensulfides of Sodium, Potassium and Rubidium: Differential Scanning Calorimetry, X-ray and Neutron Diffraction Hydrogensulfides of the alkali metals M ? Na, K, Rb were prepared in autoclaves by the reaction of the corresponding metals with H2S and D2S, respectively, in the temperature range from 50°C to 150°C. Differential scanning calorimetry, X-ray and neutron diffraction methods reveal that both, the HS?-and DS?-compounds occur in three crystalline modifications with HT ? high-, MT ? medium- and LT ? low-temperature form: The temperatures and enthalpies for the changes of modifications of the H- and D-compounds are given and the atomic arrangements revealed mainly by neutron diffraction data are discussed, in relation to, for example, size of cations.  相似文献

The crystal structures of five new alkali rare earth diphosphates were obtained by Rietveld refinement of powder X-ray diffraction (XRD) profiles, including four alkali lutetium diphosphates ALuP2O7 (A=Na, K, Rb, Cs) and the low temperature phase of KYP2O7. The scintillation properties of Ce3+-doped AREP2O7 (A=Na, K, Rb, Cs; RE=Y, Lu) powder samples were studied under static and pulsed X-ray excitations, and featured outstanding scintillation properties with light yields 1–2 times of that of Bi4(GeO4)3 and relatively short decay time of 20–28 ns. Considering the suitable emission wavelength range, large light yield, short decay time, and non-hygroscopic nature, Ce3+-doped AREP2O7-type alkali rare earth diphosphates are potential candidates for high-counting-rate scintillation applications.  相似文献

1,3,5,7-Tetramethylcyclotetrasiloxane (H4) was deposited on silica gel at 80°C by utilizing a chemical vapor deposition (CVD) method, where it was catalytically polymerized to form a surface coating of polymethylsiloxane (PMS). Treated silica gel (PMS-Si) increased in weight up to a plateau level, and there was no further increase with increasing reaction time. The film of PMS was partially cross linked; typical values of crosslinking ratio and film thickness were 2% and 0.6 nm, respectively. An anionic ion exchanger containing diethylamino groups was synthesized from PMS-Si by hydrosilylation of allyl glycidyl ether followed by treatment with diethylamine. Its structure was confirmed by13C and29Si CP/MAS NMR spectroscopy and FT-IR spectrophotometry. Characterization of silica gel (DEA-Si) modified with diethylamino group was evaluated by a packing of the column for liquid chromatography. As a mixture of five nucleotides was completely separated, it was recognized that DEA-Si was operated by ion exchange action. Because the surface of the silica gel was covered with hydrophobic PMS, the peak heights and retention times did not change after washing of the column with alkaline solution.  相似文献

Summary The rapid, simultaneous, suppressed ion chromatographic determination of alkali, alkaline earth metals and ammonium in highly mineralized waters has been examined using the novel cation exchange IonPac CS12 column. General ability for the determination of lithium, sodium, ammounium, potassium, magnesium, calcium and strontium in concentrations from a few g to several mg per liter was studied. The relative standard deviations of retention times of all seven cations were below 0.7% and the relative standard deviations of the measurements of peak areas and peak heights were mostly below 5%. Six natural mineral waters of different types were selected for evaluation of the method. It was not possible to determine lithium in the one run and ammonium usually partially coelutes with sodium precluding quantitative determination. Strontium was undetectable because of the necessary dilutions. All the reltionships between peak areas and concentrations or peak height and concentrations were linear and there was also no evidence of the effect of different matrices on the slope of regression lines.  相似文献

The extraction of Li+ with thenoyltrifluoroacetone (Htta) in the presence of 1,10-phenanthroline (phen) has been studied in various organic solvents. The remarkable enhancement of the extraction of Li+, that is a synergistic effect, was observed by the addition of phen, and the high extractability of Li+ was attained in toluene, benzene, chlorobenzene and o-dichlorobenzene. The extraction equilibrium of Li+, Na+ and K+ (denoted as M+) in the presence or absence of phen in chlorobenzene and the adduct formation reaction in the organic phase were studied in detail. The adduct of Li+ was Li(tta)(phen) in the wide concentration range of phen in the organic phase, while in Na+ and K+ M(tta)(phen)2 also exists in the high concentration region. The maximum value of the separation factor between Li+ and Na+ was observed in the present system and was larger than that in the Htta-trioctylphosphine oxide (TOPO)-benzene system reported previously.  相似文献

Magnetic Interactions in Ternary Cobalt Chalcogenides containing Isolated Tetrahedral Cobalt Anionic Groups. The Spin Structures of Na6CoS4 and Na6CoSe4 The sodium cobalt chalcogenides Na6CoS4 and Na6CoSe4 are characterized by isolated [CoX4]-units. Despite the large distances of more than 6 Å between the cobalt ions magnetic inter-actions at low temperatures lead to threedimensionally ordered spin structures, that were determined from neutron diffraction experiments. The magnetic structure can be described in the Shubnicov group P2abc21 with a unit cell that is four times as large as the crystallographic cell. The magnetic moments of both compounds correspond to the value expected for three unpaired electrons per Co2+ ion.  相似文献

Aluminium-free layered silicates of the metal silicate hydrate type (M-SH) comprise an interesting supplement to the well-known zeolite-like porous materials. Their specific properties allow these materials to be used as catalysts, adsorbents and ion-exchangers. Comparative X-ray diffraction and thermoanalytical investigations (TG and DSC) have shown that the thermoanalytical methods are useful to follow the process of structure formation of ilerite. The interlayer cations influence the properties of the different ilerites. In particular, the hydration behaviour of ilerite is affected. Thus, H+- and DTMA+-ilerite are stable up to temperatures of about 800°C, while the as-synthesized Na-form loses water irreversibly at about 150°C, is dehydroxylated, and is then desomposed structurally at about 400°C. The course of the dehydration exhibits significant differences for the various cation forms.This revised version was published online in November 2005 with corrections to the Cover Date.  相似文献

The ternary uranium(III) halides A2UX5 (A = K, Rb; X = Cl, Br, I) have been prepared from the binary components AX and UX3 in sealed tantalum containers. According to their Guinier X-ray powder patterns, they all crystallize with the K2PrCl5/Y2HfS5 type of structure. Lattice constants for ambient temperature are reported. Single-crystal structure refinemens were undertaken for K2UI5 and Rb2UCl5. Magnetic susceptibility data were recorded with a SQUID magnetometer from liquid helium to room temperature. One-dimensional (intrachain) and three-dimensional antiferromagnetic ordering occur at low temperatures dependent upon the U3+? U3+ distance. Absorption spectra were recorded between 4 000 and 28 000 cm?1. They show f—f transitions typical for U3+ and, depending on the halide, very strong f—d transitions above 14 000 to 15 000 cm?1, respectively.  相似文献

New Alkalioxoarsenates (V). On Rb2Li[AsO4] and Cs2Li[AsO4] By heating of well-grounded mixtures of the binary oxides (A2O, Li2O2, and As2O3; A : Li : As = 2 : 1 : 1; Ni-tube, 550°C, 21 d; A = Rb, Cs) colourless single crystals of Rb2Li[AsO4] and Cs2Li[AsO4] were obtained for the first time. These new orthoarsenates(V) crystalize orthorhombic (space group C mc21? C, No. 36) with Z = 4. As expected they are isotypic with the according orthovanadates(V) [2] A2Li[VO4], A = Rb, Cs. The lattice constants of Rb2Li[AsO4]: a = 582.1(4) pm, b = 1171.1(7) pm, c = 792.4(5) pm and Cs2Li[AsO4]: a = 596.4(2) pm, b = 1223.4(2) pm, c = 819.7(3) pm were taken from Guinier-Simon powder data. The structure was determined by four-circle-diffractometer data [Siemens AED II, MoKα , 6290 I0 (hkl), R = 3.5%, Rw = 3.2% to Rb2Li[AsO4]; 3518 I0 (hkl), R = 2.8%, Rw = 2.6% to Cs2Li[AsO4]; parameters see text]. The Madelung Part of Lattice Energy, MAPLE, and Effective Coordination Numbers, ECoN, these calculated via Mean Fictive Ionic Radii, MEFIR, as well as charge distribution CHARDI are calculated and discussed.  相似文献
